A vehicle lighting system includes a light assembly and an electronic controller. The light assembly includes one or more lights configured to illuminate an external area that is in a vicinity of the vehicle. The electronic controller is programmed to receive a battery status signal from a battery of the vehicle. The electronic controller is further programmed to control the light assembly to illuminate the one or more lights to display a status of the battery when the vehicle is in a predetermined condition. The predetermined condition is at least one of a condition in which a remote electronic device is within a vicinity of the vehicle, a condition in which the vehicle has transitioned from a locked state to an unlocked state, and a condition in which the vehicle is about to be transitioned from the locked state to the unlocked state.

The invention relates to an industrial vehicle cab (5) defining a driver compartment and having a front wall and two side walls, said walls including rigid body components (20, 20a). The cab (5) comprises a side door (15) for entering the driver compartment, a step (11) arranged on a side wall for allowing the driver to climb up to/get down from the driver compartment, and a lighting system (30) for illuminating the step (11). The lighting system (30) is fastened on at least one body component (20). The lighting system (30) is located forward of the step (11) and along at least a portion of the step (11) in the vertical direction, and it is arranged to provide a light beam (31) towards at least part (41) of the step (11) and towards an area (42) of the ground at the bottom of the step (11).

A running board for a vehicle is disclosed that includes: a body; a plurality of retainers that are connected to the body so as to collectively define a receiving space; and an insert that is configured for insertion into the receiving space. The body of the running board includes: a deck; an outer flange that extends downwardly from the deck; and an inner flange that extends downwardly from the deck in generally parallel relation to the outer flange. The outer flange includes at least one opening forming a decorative element, and the insert is configured for engagement with the plurality of retainers to thereby secure the insert in generally parallel relation to the outer flange adjacent to the decorative element.

An illuminated door sill plate contains: a base and a removable cover. The base includes an elongated case, a waterproof plate, a PCB having a light-emitting diode (LED), a light guide plate, and at least one changeable battery. The elongated case has a light emitting portion, multiple engagement portions, at least one first receiving orifice, and at least one battery cover. The removable cover includes an elongated body connected with a nameplate, and the nameplate has a light transmission portion formed on center of the nameplate in multiple character shapes and configured to transmit lights, an elongated groove formed on center of a top of the elongated body, and multiple hooks extending from two long sides of the elongated groove and engaged with the multiple engagement portions so that the base is connected with or removed from the removable cover.

Aspects of the invention relate to a track-based accessory system. The track-based accessory system may be for use with a golf cart. The track-based accessory system may include two elongated members. Each elongated member may be configured to be attached to a golf cart. Each elongated member may include an enclosure track. Each elongated member may also include an accessory track. Each enclosure track may include an enclosure slot. Each enclosure slot may be configured to engage a golf cart enclosure. Each accessory track may include a keyway. Each keyway may be configured to engage at least one accessory.

An illuminated door sill plate contains: a base and a removable cover. The base includes an elongated case, a waterproof plate, a PCB having a light-emitting diode (LED), a light guide plate, and at least one changeable battery. A modular side storage assembly for use on automotive bodies includes at least one door storage compartment module and at least one rear fender storage compartment module. The door storage compartment module has an internal sidewall, a horizontal base, and a curved external sidewall, joined with a rearward facing sidewall. The curved external sidewall meets the internal sidewall and forms a curved forward facing sidewall. A hinged hatch is attached to the external sidewall. The rear fender storage compartment module has an internal sidewall, a horizontal base, and a curved external sidewall joined by a forward facing sidewall. The curved external sidewall meets the internal sidewall and forms a curved rearward facing sidewall. An assembly includes front and rear door storage compartments; front fender guards; marker lights; a lockable storage panel cap and an antenna mount; and side steps with embedded LEDs. A component (1) for a vehicle having a visible side (11) comprises a first light guide (2), which comprises a light coupling-in surface (25) and a plurality of first light deflection elements (211, 212, 213, 214, 215), wherein light can be coupled into the first light guide (2) through the light coupling-in surface (25), and a plurality of diffuser elements (311, 312, 313, 314, 315) which are designed to scatter light diffusely. The first light deflection elements (211, 212, 213, 214, 215) are each designed to deflect the light coupled into the first light guide (2) by a deflection angle directed in the direction of the diffuser elements (311, 312, 313, 314, 315) so that the diffuser elements (311, 312, 313, 314, 315) scatter said directed light diffusely in the direction of the visible side (11).

A road working machine includes an operator's station that is adapted to be occupied by an operator of the road working machine. The road working machine also includes a controller and a safety light circuit that is operatively attached to the controller. The safety light circuit includes a plurality of downwardly directed safety lights that are located so as to provide lighted egress from the operator's station.

The support device facilitates access to a vehicle and includes an elongate support member, brackets for mounting the elongate support member to a vehicle, and a step affixed to the elongate support member. The step can be movable relative to the support member after fastening the step to the support member.
