INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
To realize an apparatus and a method for receiving a recognition level of an own vehicle from another vehicle and/or an infrastructure facility and performing control to improve a recognition level. A recognition level of the own vehicle calculated by another vehicle or the infrastructure facility is received, and control for improvement of a recognition level of the own vehicle is executed in accordance with the received recognition level. As the control for improvement of a recognition level of the own vehicle, any process is executed among: (a) a process of reducing a traveling speed or stopping; (b) a process of turning on a light; and (c) a process of changing transmission information from the own vehicle. As the process of changing transmission information, a process of adding, to the transmission information, vehicle location information, vehicle speed information, vehicle size information, or reference marker position information is executed.
Mobile device having headlights and corresponding linear light emitters
Provided is a mobile object capable of appropriately communicating a status of the mobile object to the outside. The mobile object includes: a main body that moves; a pair of left and right headlights that are arranged on a front surface of the main body; and a pair of linear light emitters each including a light emission area which emits light linearly, the pair of linear light emitters being arranged respectively above the pair of left and right headlights.
VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USING RECOGNITION OF STATE OF DRIVER
The present invention determines whether a vehicle is traveling at a location where preparation is needed for the vehicle to exit to another road branching from a current traveling road, estimates a lane change intention of a driver when it is determined that a lane change is needed for the vehicle to exit the current traveling road, and communicates the lane change to neighboring vehicles by activating a turn signal when the lane change intention is estimated.
Vehicle display system and vehicle
A display system provided in a vehicle includes: a road surface drawing device configured to emit a light pattern toward a road surface outside the vehicle; and a display control unit configured to control the road surface drawing device. The display control unit stops emission of the light pattern in response to detection of a light pattern emitted from a vehicle.
Automated driving enabled vehicle
An automated driving enabled vehicle includes an automated driving indicator lamp, one or more lamps, and a lamp controller. The automated driving indicator lamp is configured to be switched on perceptibly from outside the vehicle on the occasion of automated driving of the vehicle. The one or more lamps are provided on the vehicle separately from the automated driving indicator lamp. The lamp controller is configured to start to switch on the automated driving indicator lamp that has been off, before starting to switch on the one or more lamps, on the condition that the vehicle is about to make a departure by the automated driving from a parked or stopped state with the automated driving indicator lamp and the one or more lamps off.
VEHICULAR DRAWING DEVICE
A vehicular drawing device is installed in the vehicle and draws, using light, an indication display with a predetermined shape on a road surface in a direction of travel of the vehicle. The indication display includes a start-traveling display drawn at a time of starting traveling and a turn indication display drawn when a turn indicator switch is turned on and the direction of travel is changed. The turn indication display is drawn with priority over the start-traveling display when the turn indicator switch is on at the time of starting traveling.
CODE PROCESSING DEVICE, CODE PROCESSING METHOD, AND VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
According to one embodiment, a code processing device includes an acquisition unit, a lane information generation unit, a code generation unit, and a display processing unit. The acquisition unit acquires traffic information indicating traffic conditions of a lane. The lane information generation unit generates lane information which indicates the traffic conditions of each lane based on the traffic information from each lane. The code generation unit generates a code which indicates the lane information. The display processing unit outputs the code.
Turn signal control system and methods
An aspect of the disclosure sets forth a turn signal system for a steering wheel that is easier to use and improves turn signal usage compliance and, accordingly, safety. The turn signal system includes at least one hand location detection sensor; at least one pressure actuated switch mechanism which is actuatable by the operator; a turn signal control, the turn signal control operatively connected to the at least one hand location detection sensor and the at least one pressure actuated switch mechanism, the turn signal control also operatively connected to left and right turn signals of the vehicle to indicate a turn to the left or right. Wherein actuation of the at least one pressure actuated switch mechanism by a hand of the operator of the vehicle provides a signal to the turn signal control to indicate a turn to the left or right.
NAVIGATION SIGNALING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
A navigation signaling system for communicating navigation information of a personal transportation device is provided. The navigation signaling system includes a computer and a navigation system. The computer has at least one display device. The navigation system is coupled to the computer and provides a current position and a course data of the personal transportation device. The computer drives the signal display device to display a directional signal flashing in increasing frequency as a function of proximity of the current position to a turn event in the course data.
Method for Operating a Driver Assistance System of a Vehicle, Comprising Driver Moderation for Partially-Automated Functions, Driver Assistance System, and Vehicle
Methods and systems are provided for operating a driver assistance system of a vehicle. A plurality of partially automated functions are performed using the driver assistance system during operation of the vehicle. In the partially automated functions, longitudinal guidance and/or transverse guidance of the vehicle are and/or is regulated, and/or information that describes surroundings of the vehicle is output and/or a signal is output to the surroundings using the driver assistance system. Following a predetermined number of performed partially automated functions, a moderation signal is output to a driver of the vehicle for a following function that can be performed in a partially automated manner using the driver assistance system. When the moderation signal is output, the driver is asked for feedback regarding the following function.
