Downsized vehicle projection device having reflective surface and vehicle viewing device

A vehicle projection device including: a reflector that is provided in a vehicle and is provided with a reflective surface, with the reflective surface reflecting light; an image member that is provided with an image and through which the light reflected by the reflective surface is transmitted; and a lens through which the light that has been transmitted through the image member is transmitted, whereby the image is magnified and projected.

Driving automation external communication location change

A method, system and non-transitory computer readable medium which monitor a road user in order to move the external position of the vehicle intent notification (eHMI) to another external position that can be seen by the road user based on the gaze direction of the road user. In some aspects, the eHMI notification displays the vehicle intent for a single autonomous vehicle. In another aspect, a group eHMI notification displays the trajectories for a plurality of autonomous and non-autonomous vehicles. Based on the gaze direction of the road user, the eHMI notification can be displayed on a single external position or on multiple external positions. Different eHMI notifications can be displayed at different external positions on the autonomous vehicle to provide information to more than one road user.

LIGHTING MODULE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

A lighting module for a motor vehicle includes a carrier, such as a single printed circuit board, and a plurality of light sources configured to perform various functions selected from a group including door lock status, turn signal indication, blind spot warning indication and door latch handle illumination.

DEVICE FOR INDICATING LOCK STATUS OF A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR

A device for indicating lock status of a motor vehicle door includes a door lock status indicator carried on a window of the motor vehicle door. A window for a motor vehicle includes a luminescent door lock status indicator, a luminescent turn signal indicator and a luminescent blind spot indicator.

Light system

A window for a vehicle is provided herein. The window includes an outer panel separated from an inner panel. A light guide is disposed between the outer panel and the inner panel. A first light-blocking layer is disposed between the light guide and the outer panel. A second light-blocking layer is disposed between the light guide and the inner panel. A light source is optically coupled with the light guide and is configured to direct excitation light towards a photoluminescent structure disposed between the first and second light-blocking layers. The photoluminescent structure luminesces in response to receiving the excitation light.

INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR IRIDESCENT VEHICLE APPLIQUES

A vehicle applique is provided that includes a substantially transparent substrate defining first and second surfaces, a decorative film positioned on the first surface of the substrate, and an over-mold positioned over the film. The over-mold defines at least one diffraction grating and a light source is positioned proximate the second surface of the substrate. The light source is configured to emit light through the substrate and the over-mold.
