Method, device and computer-readable storage medium with instructions for identifying an exit side of a motor vehicle
A method, a device and a computer-readable storage medium with instructions for identifying an exit side of a motor vehicle. In a first step, the existence of an exit situation is detected. If an exit situation exists, an exit side of the motor vehicle is ascertained. Finally, the opening of a door is simulated on the ascertained exit side. For example, a brightness can be increased on the ascertained exit side, outside sounds can be reproduced, or an air stream can be generated.
OPERATING ASSISTANCE METHOD, CONTROL UNIT, OPERATING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM AND WORKING DEVICE
An operating assistance method for a working device or for a vehicle. Object boxes for an object in a field of view of the working device are obtained at consecutive times. From object boxes of a given object, for images recorded in succession or direct succession, an instantaneous change of scale of an object box for the specific object, and an instantaneous lateral change of position of the object box for the specific object, are determined. An object box predicted in the future is determined from the current change of scale, and from the instantaneous lateral change in position for an object box for a specific object. The position of the predicted object box and/or the ratio of a lateral extension of the predicted object box to a lateral extension of a covered field of view and/or of the recorded images are determined and evaluated.
Method and apparatus for learning how to notify pedestrians
A method for optimal notification of a relevant object in a potentially unsafe situation includes training a machine learning model using a plurality of object parameters and a plurality of vehicle state parameters to generate a trained machine learning model. Output data is predicted using the trained machine learning model. The output data represents an optimal mode of notification and a set of notification parameters for a specific state of interaction between the vehicle and the relevant object.
Signaling device
A signaling device intended to be worn by a moving user such as a rider of a two-wheel vehicle providing improved visibility on the part of other road users through the provision of a light source at a greater height than is conventional for such vehicles comprises an accelerometer taking measurements along three orthogonal axes, a rechargeable battery pack, a first light source, wireless communication means for transmitting an alert signal and a control unit which activates the light source above a particular deceleration or braking threshold, activates the communication means at a higher deceleration or accident threshold and activates the communication means when a number of switchovers between acceleration and deceleration is equal to or higher than a third threshold.
Enhancement of vehicle hazard systems
A system includes a first lead connecting to existing vehicle wiring for activating a signal light of a right side of a vehicle, and a first strobing light module having a first microcontroller connected to the first lead and operating a first light capable of strobing operation. A second lead connects to existing vehicle wiring for activating a signal light of a left side of the vehicle, and a second strobing light module having a second microcontroller connects to the second lead and operating a light capable of strobing operation. The first and second microcontrollers are communicatively coupled and each provides a signal to the other when it has detected activation of its respective lead. The first and second microcontrollers both strobe their respective light capable of strobing operation upon receiving the signal from the other and the signal from their own respective lead.
Method for assisting a driver with regard to traffic-situation-relevant objects and motor vehicle
A method is provided for assisting a driver of a motor vehicle in a traffic situation with regard to objects relevant to the traffic situation. The motor vehicle has at least one environment sensor directed towards the forefield of the motor vehicle, at least one driver sensor designed to detect the line of sight and fixation of the driver's eyes, and at least one headlight having a controllably variable spatial illumination pattern. The method includes detecting, classifying, and locating objects in the forefield of the motor vehicle to determine a first object list having the object data associated with the detected objects. The method also includes determining objects, which were detected and not detected by the driver, in order to generate a second object list of undetected objects. The method also includes illuminating the at least one illuminated object in a targeted manner using the at least one headlight to notify the driver about the illuminated object.
SIGNALLING DEVICE FOR TWO-WHEELED VEHICLES
A signaling device is intended to be worn by a driver or rider of a land vehicle or intended to be mounted on such a vehicle, the vehicle preferably being a two-wheeled vehicle. The signaling device includes an accelerometer, an assembly of electrochemical batteries, a first light source, a wireless communicator intended to emit a warning signal, and a control unit. The control unit is intended to activate: the light source when the accelerometer measures a deceleration greater than or equal to a first predetermined deceleration threshold; and the communicator when the accelerometer measures a deceleration greater than or equal to a second predetermined deceleration threshold.
Motor Vehicle Visual and Audio Proximity Warning System
A motor vehicle warning system for use with a stationary motor vehicle that informs on-coming traffic of the presence of the stationary motor vehicle and in turn alerts outside workers near the stationary motor vehicle that nearby on-coming traffic is approaching. The warning system includes a warning arm that extends away from the motor vehicle in use, lights on the warning arm to warn on-coming traffic of the stationary motor vehicle, and a siren that alerts workers outside of the motor vehicle of the presence of on-coming motor vehicles.

AUTOMATED OPERATION VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE AND AUTOMATED OPERATION VEHICLE
An automated operation vehicle control unit is configured to perform a detection process in which an abnormal condition of a passenger of a vehicle is detected and a notification process in which pedestrians are notified of the abnormal condition detected in the detection process in a case where the abnormal condition of the passenger is detected in the detection process.
