VEHICLE-MOUNTED SYSTEM AND VEHICLE
A vehicle-mounted system and a vehicle are disclosed. The vehicle-mounted system includes a vehicle lamp system, the vehicle lamp system includes a direction changing unit or/and a light intensity adjusting unit and a vehicle lamp; the vehicle lamp is arranged on a front side of a vehicle body and configured to emit light; the direction changing unit is arranged on a light emergent side of the vehicle lamp, and configured to change a transmission direction of light that is incident on the direction changing unit and emitted by the vehicle lamp; and the light intensity adjusting unit is configured to adjust intensity of the light emitted by the vehicle lamp.
Vehicle occupancy indication and utilization thereof
Techniques pertaining to vehicle occupancy indication and utilization thereof are described. A method may involve determining occupancy information regarding a number of occupants in a vehicle. The method may also involve indicating the occupancy information in either or both of a human-perceivable way and a machine-perceivable way.
VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle control device includes: a recognition unit configured to recognize a surrounding condition of a vehicle; a driving control unit configured to control acceleration, deceleration, and steering of the vehicle based on a recognition result; and a vehicle abnormality detection unit configured to detect an abnormality in an electric parking brake device. When an abnormality in the driver is detected during traveling of the vehicle, the driving control unit performs control to decelerate the vehicle to a predetermined speed greater than zero by braking by a brake device. In a case where an abnormality in the electric parking brake device is detected before or at a time the vehicle is decelerated to the predetermined speed, the driving control unit causes the vehicle to perform traveling along a traveling road until the recognition unit recognizes a preceding vehicle after the vehicle is decelerated to the predetermined speed.
BLOOD ALCOHOL LEVEL SENSING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A blood alcohol level sensing system for a vehicle is steering wheel with infrared sensors that are able to detect variations in body chemistry from contact with the palms of the hands to determine if a driver is either alcohol impaired or impaired from certain medical conditions that might affect driving. The system has a digital readout that may be located on the dashboard of the vehicle, and the readout may also be transmitted to a cell phone. In the event of an exceedance of a predetermined set point, an interlock will interrupt the start circuit of the vehicle to prevent it from starting.
Autonomous smart car capable of first aid and method for operating thereof
An autonomous smart car includes a bio-signal sensing unit sensing a bio-condition of a person in the autonomous smart car; a communication unit supporting wireless communication between the autonomous smart car and an external of the autonomous smart car; a memory unit storing basic data of the person in the autonomous smart car, general bio-signal data, bio-signal data sensed by the bio-signal sensing unit, and hospital information data; an autonomous driving unit autonomously driving the autonomous smart car to a destination; an emergency handling unit enabling the autonomous smart car to inform that an emergency patient is in the autonomous smart car to outside when the bio-condition of the person in the autonomous smart car indicates an emergency; and a control unit analyzing a current condition of the person by comparing a bio-signal sensed by the bio-signal sensing unit with the data stored in the memory unit.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE
The present disclosure relates to a method for operating a motor vehicle, wherein a status information regarding the status of an occupant of the motor vehicle is determined, whereupon the motor vehicle is guided in a fully automated manner to a predetermined target position when one of the release conditions is fulfilled as a function of the status information, wherein, when the release condition is fulfilled, the motor vehicle is guided independently of at least one traffic rule, which restricts the driving operation of the motor vehicle in the event of non-compliance with the release condition, or dependently of a modified version of said traffic rule.
Lamp for vehicle
A lamp, for a vehicle, that includes at least one light source configured to generate light; a transparent display configured to allow at least a portion of the light to pass through the transparent display; and a processor configured to control the transparent display to display, on a projection surface using the light, information related to the vehicle or driving conditions for the vehicle is disclosed.
DISPLAY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A display device for a vehicle includes a display portion that displays, toward at least one of an exterior or an interior of the vehicle, driving control information, the driving control information including at least one of first information, expressing how driving of the vehicle is being controlled, or second information, originating at the vehicle and being able to affect a traveling state of the vehicle.
MOBILE DEVICE TETHERING FOR A REMOTE PARKING ASSIST SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE
Method and apparatus are disclosed for mobile device tethering for a remote parking assist system of a vehicle. A vehicle includes a camera and a body control module. The body control module sends an instruction to a mobile device and captures, with the camera, an image of the mobile device. The body control module also analyzes the image to determine an initial location of the mobile device relative to the vehicle, and based on the initial location, performs dead reckoning on the mobile device to track the mobile device. When the mobile device is within a threshold distance, the body control module enables autonomous parking.
ILLUMINATED VEHICULAR ASSEMBLY FOR DAY AND NIGHT USE
A vehicle lighting system is provided primarily for use with emergency response vehicles. The vehicle lighting system includes at least one luminescent planar sheet affixed to a vehicle's mounting surface. The luminescent planar sheet includes a non-luminescent printed circuit board in the shape of a letter or number which has a top surface of a color which contrasts with the mounting surface's color. The luminescent planar sheet includes a plurality of light emitting LEDs which are surface mounted upon the printed circuit board so as to be arranged in the shape of the desired letter or number with the LEDs covering no more than 20% of the printed circuit board's top surface. Preferably, the LEDs cover no more than 7% the printed circuit board's top surface.
