VARIABLE BEAM PATTERN LAMP SYSTEM FOR DRIVER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A variable beam pattern lamp system for a driver provides an input device that receives personal information of the driver, a lamp driving device that drives an indoor or outdoor lamp of a vehicle to output a beam pattern matched to the driver, based on the personal information of the driver, the personal information being input through the input device, and a vehicle controller that determines whether the personal information is registered driver information or unregistered driver information, when the personal information of the driver is input through the input device, and controls the lamp driving device to drive the indoor or outdoor lamp of the vehicle using beam patterns respectively corresponding to that the personal information is the registered driver information and that the personal information is the unregistered driver information.
Mobile Alert and Security System
A safety alert system for a vehicle has a computerized monitoring apparatus storing a pre-programmed telephone number for a specific cellular telephone, a plurality of sensors coupled to the computerized monitoring apparatus, sensing at least on/off status of vehicle ignition system, presence or absence of a person in a driver's seat of the vehicle, and presence of a person or another animal in a location in the vehicle other than the driver's seat, and wireless transmission circuitry adapted to send an alert to a cellular telephone. The computerized monitoring apparatus senses that vehicle ignition is on, a person is in the driver's seat, and there is a person or another animal in a location in the vehicle other than the driver's seat, then senses that the ignition is switched off, then senses that there is no person in the driver's seat, and then sends an alert to the cellular telephone.
Seat or vehicle identification for a rideshare
Systems, methods, and devices for indicating a status of a vehicle or a seat in a vehicle are disclosed herein. A system includes a plurality of seats in a vehicle, a light-diffusing fiber optic light source attached to at least one of the seats, a receiver configured to receive a status of at least one of the seats, and a controller. The controller may be configured to determine an illumination scheme based on the status of at least one of the seats and illuminate the light-diffusing fiber optic light source according to the illumination scheme.
Irradiation system and irradiation method
A second light device (4b) starts emission of a light pattern B after a first light device (4a) has started emission of a light pattern A. Elements included in the light pattern B and an element included in the light pattern A are arranged on the same straight line.
SEAT
A seat includes a seat body and a sensor configured to acquired information on an occupant seated on the seat body. The seat includes a coating as a location marker that marks a location of the sensor to render the location visually recognizable from outside the seat body.
Illuminated vehicular assembly for day and night use
A vehicle lighting system is provided primarily for use with emergency response vehicles. The vehicle lighting system includes at least one luminescent planar sheet affixed to a vehicle's mounting surface. The luminescent planar sheet includes a non-luminescent printed circuit board in the shape of a letter or number which has a top surface of a color which contrasts with the mounting surface's color. The luminescent planar sheet includes a plurality of light emitting LEDs which are surface mounted upon the printed circuit board so as to be arranged in the shape of the desired letter or number with the LEDs covering no more than 20% of the printed circuit board's top surface. Preferably, the LEDs cover no more than 7% the printed circuit board's top surface.
IN-VEHICLE EMERGENCY DETECTION AND RESPONSE HANDLING
A method for emergency response handling includes receiving an emergency signal from at least one of a vehicle or a user device of an occupant of the vehicle. Sensor data from one or more sensors in the vehicle or the user device is collected. An in-vehicle emergency is detected based on the sensor data and a severity level and a context associated with the in-vehicle emergency are determined. From a plurality of responses, one or more responses are selected, based on the determined severity level and context, for handling the in-vehicle emergency. Response actions are executed based on the selected responses. Execution of the response actions includes communicating, an instruction to at least one of the user device, an emergency contact, a response team, and user devices associated with users present within a first distance from the vehicle.
Method and Apparatus to Dynamically Identify a Vehicle
Embodiments include the use of on-vehicle or in-vehicle dynamically projected or displayed identification data (e.g., names, brand names, pictures, ID codes, bar codes, etc.) that a person outside of the vehicle can see. The projection or display of the identification data can be presented when the vehicle is near the location of the intended passenger (e.g., determined via GPS data, by location of Bluetooth signals or WiFi signals, or other). The identification data may be interpretable by humans and/or can be encoded into patterns that a smartphone app or other electronic device can decode.
Automated operation vehicle control device and automated operation vehicle
An automated operation vehicle control unit is configured to perform a detection process in which an abnormal condition of a passenger of a vehicle is detected and a notification process in which pedestrians are notified of the abnormal condition detected in the detection process in a case where the abnormal condition of the passenger is detected in the detection process.
Exterior Lighting in Aircraft Livery
Methods, systems and apparatuses are disclosed for incorporating an illumination assembly comprising a plurality of micro-light sources into an exterior surface of a vehicle for the purpose of producing predetermined fixed or sequenced visual images.
