VEHICLE INTERIOR TRIM PART HAVING OPTICAL FIBERS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
The proposed vehicle interior trim part comprises a woven material having at least two parallel optical fibers that are able to laterally emit light and that extend in a longitudinal direction and having at least one further fiber and/or at least one further yarn. The vehicle interior trim part further comprises a reflective layer that is adjacent to the woven material and comprises a fleece material and that is configured to reflect light emitted by the at least two parallel optical fibers. The vehicle interior trim part additionally has a carrier that is adjacent to the reflective layer so that the reflective layer is located between the woven material and the carrier and having at least one light source that is optically connected to at least one of the at least two parallel optical fibers.
Vehicle and method for controlling the same
A vehicle may include: a feedback device; a bio-signal sensor configured to measure a bio-signal of a user; and a controller operatively coupled to the feedback device and the bio-signal sensor, the controller including a memory configured to store at least one program instruction and processor configured to execute the at least one program instruction. The controller may be configured to: determine information characterizing a current emotional state of the user based on the bio-signal; calculate, based on a difference value between the current emotional state and a target emotional state, an operation ratio between a first mode for controlling operation of the feedback device to decrease a degree of excitability of the user and a second mode for controlling the operation of the feedback device to increase a degree of positivity of the user; and control the operation of the feedback device for a predetermined time based on the operation ratio.
Optoelectronic module having an OLED and method for producing an optoelectronic module
The invention relates to an optoelectronic module, comprising a housing (11) having a first housing part (11) having a first cover surface (11a) and an opening (4); a mechanically flexibly designed organic light source (2) having an illuminating surface (2a); and a cover element (3) which is mounted on the illuminating surface (2a) and has a light-transmissive surface (3a) facing away from the illuminating surface (2a), wherein the organic light source (2) is introduced at least at some points into the opening (14), the first cover surface (11a) is curved and/or bowed, the size of the illuminating surface (2a) is at least 1 cm.sup.2, preferably at least 5 cm.sup.2, and the distance between the illuminating surface (2a) and the first cover surface (11a) is at most 1 cm, preferably at most 5 mm.
Area light integrated in a cabin furnishing element
A cabin furnishing element for a cabin, such as a cabin of an aircraft, includes a panel having a panel body. The panel body includes an illumination surface having an illumination zone, and defines a lighting recess within the panel body relative to the illumination surface. The panel also includes a lighting system having a light source assembly and a light guide. The light source assembly and light guide are retained within the lighting recess defined by the panel body. The lighting system is adapted to selectively illuminate a portion of the illumination zone.
Opaque laminated vehicle roof with panoramic glazed appearance
The laminated glass panoramic roof is a popular although expensive option offered on a growing number of automobiles. Much of its appeal comes from the sleek modern appearance that it gives to the vehicle. The opaque laminated vehicle roof, by removing vision and optical requirements can be produced at a lower cost. The opaque laminated roof, by retaining a glass outer surface, maintains the same exterior appearance, aesthetic and much of the appeal of a conventional laminated glass panoramic roof. The opaque laminated vehicle roof also allows for the use of alternate materials which can further reduce cost and weight while adding additional features such as installation hardware, fasteners, lighting, antennas and solar cells to the roof.
Light-emitting device and mobile object
A light-emitting device includes: a holder having an elongate shape and flexibility; and a flat light-emitting element held by the holder and having a rectangular shape and flexibility. The holder includes a frame portion extending in a longitudinal direction of the holder, and a holding part protruding from the frame portion in a plan view. The frame portion of the holder and the flat light-emitting element overlap in a lateral-view direction, and the flat light-emitting element is joined to and held by the holding part.
LUMINOUS MODULE WITH FLEXIBLE ORGANIC LIGHT-EMITTING DIODE
The invention relates to a flexible organic light-emitting diode. The diode includes at least one curved part, of which at least one portion is covered with a layer of varnish.
INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR IRIDESCENT VEHICLE APPLIQUES
A vehicle applique is provided that includes a substantially transparent substrate defining first and second surfaces, a decorative film positioned on the first surface of the substrate, and an over-mold positioned over the film. The over-mold defines at least one diffraction grating and a light source is positioned proximate the second surface of the substrate. The light source is configured to emit light through the substrate and the over-mold.
DOME LIGHT ASSEMBLIES AND UNITS THAT PRODUCE NATURAL AND COURTESY LIGHT PATTERNS
A dome light assembly that includes a reflective surface facing an interior; a light-diffusing element over the reflective surface having a plurality of corresponding opposed edges and LED sources; and a controller for directing the sources to transmit a plurality of light patterns from the element into the interior based at least in part on a plurality of inputs. Further, each source is configured to direct incident light into the corresponding edge. These light patterns include natural light and other light patterns. The inputs include manual inputs, weather inputs, exterior light sensor inputs, temporal inputs and global positioning system inputs.
ILLUMINATING DEVICE AND INTERIOR PART FOR A VEHICLE
An illuminating device for a vehicle includes a carrier module, a flat light guide attached to the carrier module with a plurality of emitting points, and multiple light sources for illuminating the light guide. The flat light guide is concealed with a translucent haptic layer, which is attached to a visible side of the light guide, which, in turn, is covered by a decorative layer. The illuminating device comprises a rope-like light guide, which has an inherent light source and is connected to the decorative layer via a retaining device. This therefore results in a flat arrangement, which can be easily integrated into the interior parts and simultaneously enables illumination over a large surface area. In doing so, additional light effects can be integrated by means of the rope-like light guide. The illuminating device is not visible while switched off, as the illuminating device is covered by the decorative layer.
