REARVIEW CAMERA FIELD OF VIEW WITH ALTERNATIVE TAILGATE POSITIONS
Systems and methods for a rear-viewing camera system for a vehicle. A first camera is mounted on the vehicle with a field of view that is at least partially obstructed by a tailgate of the vehicle and/or a load carried by the vehicle. A second camera is mounted on the vehicle with a field of view that includes an unobstructed view of an imaging area that is obstructed in the field of view of the first camera. A tailgate position sensor is configured to output a signal indicative of a current position of the tailgate of the vehicle. By determining a position of the tailgate, an electronic controller is configured to generate an output image in which the tailgate and/or the load appear at least partially transparent by replacing image data that is obstructed in the image captured by the first camera with image data captured by the second camera.

VEHICLE BODY MOUNTED SIDE VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLIES WITH OFF-ROADING AND VEHICLE SECURITY FEATURES
This disclosure details vehicle static body structure mounted side view mirror assemblies. The exemplary side view mirror assemblies may include features for supporting vehicle off-roading, such as a pivoting and telescoping mirror section, a wind wing, lighting features, snorkel features, and/or accessory mounts, etc. The exemplary side view mirror assemblies may also include features for supporting improved vehicle security, such as mirror mounted radar sensors capable of establishing a security protection zone about the vehicle.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WORK MACHINE
A system includes a processor and a display. A plurality of cameras capture surroundings images of a work machine. The processor acquires image data indicative of the surroundings images. The processor synthesizes the surroundings images and generates a panorama moving image from viewpoints that move around the work machine. The display displays, based on a signal from the processor, the panorama moving image from the viewpoints that move around the work machine. The system may include the cameras and the work machine.
PARTIAL IMAGE GENERATING DEVICE, STORAGE MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR PARTIAL IMAGE GENERATION AND PARTIAL IMAGE GENERATING METHOD
A partial image generating device has a processor configured to generate a partial image from an image in which the environment surrounding a vehicle has been photographed using an imaging device provided in the vehicle, and to assess whether or not the road represented in the image is straight. The processor is configured so that, when it has been assessed that the road represented in the image is straight, it generates a partial image by cutting out a first region in the image that is estimated to contain the road, based on the vanishing point of the road, and when it has assessed that the road represented in the image is not straight, it generates a partial image by cutting out a second region in the image determined based on the type of the vehicle.
Rearview head up display
A motor vehicle includes a rearview camera capturing images of a scene behind the motor vehicle. An electronic processor receives the images captured by the camera. A virtual image projection arrangement is communicatively coupled to the electronic processor and presents a virtual image dependent upon the images captured by the camera. The virtual image is visible by a driver of the vehicle after being reflected by a windshield.
VEHICLE SVM SYSTEM INCLUDING TILT CAMERA
A vehicle surround viewing monitor (SVM) system includes: a tilt camera device including camera modules configured to image a surround view of a vehicle; and a control device configured to generate a control signal for adjusting a detection angle of the tilt camera device according to an operating mode of the vehicle, based on received vehicle information. The tilt camera device is configured to adjust a detection angle of each of the camera modules, in response to the control signal.
Image display apparatus
An image display apparatus 10 comprises image capturing units 11L, 11R, display units 12L, 12R, and adjusting units 14, 16 that adjust a position at which to display a captured image 30 on the display units. The adjusting units 14, 16 have a plurality of adjustment modes in which the position can be adjusted. The plurality of adjustment modes include a first mode (self-aiming mode) in which it is possible to adjust the position by an operation on only a first switch 14, and a second mode (service center aiming mode) in which it is possible to adjust the position by a simultaneous operation on the first switch and a second switch 15.
Vehicle display control device, display control method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium
A vehicle display control device is configured to perform operations including: performing processing for hindering visual recognition of an occupant of a vehicle on a captured image captured by an image-capturing device; generating a display image; acquiring information indicating a state of the vehicle and information regarding a surrounding environment of the vehicle; and determining whether the vehicle is in a first condition. In a case where it is determined that the vehicle is in the first condition, a display image obtained by prohibiting application of the processing to the captured image or by reducing an application degree of the processing is generated, and is displayed by the display device.
VIEW ADJUSTING MECHANISM AND ADJUSTING MEANS FOR SUCH A VIEW ADJUSTING MECHANISM
The invention relates to adjusting means for adjusting the position of a first part, in particular a viewing means holder part for a viewing means, such as a mirror or a camera for example, relative to a second part, in particular a base part, comprising at least one actuator, via which the first part can be moved, in particular pivoted, relative to the second part. The actuator has at least one first toothed ring segment and at least one second toothed ring segment, wherein the first toothed ring segment is force-coupled to at least one first actuator—in particular, a position detector—and the second toothed ring segment is force-coupled to at least one second actuator—in particular, an actuating drive. The invention additionally relates to a view adjusting means comprising such an adjusting means.
