FOLDING INTERIOR LINING PANEL FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a folding interior lining panel for a motor vehicle comprising a first articulated flap and a second articulated flap, having a first front face and a second front face and a first back face and a second back face. The front faces are covered with a first front covering layer and a second front covering layer. The articulation between the flaps is provided by two first strips spaced apart from each other, the strips being integral with the first layer, the strips having a free end portion attached to the second back face. At least one second strip is arranged between the first strips, the strip being integral with the second layer and having a free end portion attached to the first back face.
Convertible thermal container for a vehicle storage area
A tonneau cover for a vehicle storage area includes a retractable screen that extends from a housing to define extended and retracted positions. A handle assembly is coupled to an outer edge of the retractable screen and has an expandable base that defines a collapsed position proximate the retractable screen and an expanded position that defines a storage volume.
Passenger motor vehicle luggage compartment cover
A passenger motor vehicle luggage compartment cover for a passenger motor vehicle is configured to optionally covering the luggage compartment. The luggage compartment cover includes at least one rigid luggage compartment lid which can be moved between a substantially horizontal closed position and an upright lateral parked position; and at least one stationary guide rail on which a guide element of the luggage compartment lid is guided. The luggage compartment lid is configured to be displaced between the horizontal closed position and the upright lateral parked position in a vehicle transverse direction and in the process can be pivoted with respect to a vehicle longitudinal axis.
TRUCK BED COVERS INCLUDING A COMPARTMENT FORMING PANEL
A truck bed cover for a pickup truck includes a first panel assembly and a second panel assembly that is pivotally connected to the first panel assembly such that the second panel assembly pivots relative to the first panel assembly between a closed configuration and an open configuration providing an uncovered region adjacent the first panel assembly. The first panel assembly includes a panel having a cover configuration where the panel covers a part of a truck bed and a compartment configuration where a free end of the panel engages a floor of the truck bed to form part of a compartment beneath the truck bed cover.
Covering shelf apparatus for vehicles
A covering shelf apparatus for a vehicle is provided. The apparatus is convertible into a using state in which the covering shelf operating separately from a tailgate closes a luggage compartment, a standing state in which the covering shelf is open at an angle, and a stowed state in which the covering shelf is inserted behind a rear seat. Accordingly, freight is capable of being loaded on the covering shelf in the using state in which the covering shelf closes the luggage compartment. Since the covering shelf is operated separately from the tailgate, the covering shelf is capable of being used more conveniently.
Cargo containment system for a vehicle
A cargo container configured to fit in a passenger vehicle is disclosed. Embodiments of the container is configured with attachments for attaching to the lip of the opening of a trunk or a hatchback, thereby sealing a substantial portion of the area of the opening. The sealing configuration effectively prevents contamination of the vehicle during loading of the container. Embodiments of the container may also include a lip configured to drape over the bumper of the vehicle during loading. Once loaded, the container may be closed and secured.
NET ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A net assembly for a vehicle, comprising an assembly of rod elements, each of which has a guide channel; a plurality of joint elements, each of which has at least one connection opening, wherein the rod elements are connected together via the joint elements; and at least one tensioning element which extends through the guide channels of at least some of the rod elements and the connection openings of at least some of the joint elements and can be tensioned in order to clamp the rod elements relative to the joint elements. In this manner, a net assembly is provided which can be used in a variable manner, the shape of which can be adapted in a flexible manner, and which can thus be used to withstand forces.
Luggage room screen apparatus of vehicle
A luggage compartment screen apparatus of a vehicle may include a moving housing movable along guide rails; a push mechanism to be drawn out or drawn in from the moving housing toward the luggage compartment and be rotatable and formed to have a step in a rotation direction thereof; and a locking mechanism rotatably disposed on the moving housing to be configured to be selectively locked to the guide rail, formed to have a step in a drawn-out and drawn-in direction of the push mechanism, and having a stepped portion in contact with a stepped portion of the push mechanism to be rotated to be locked to the guide rail at the time of a drawn-in operation or a rotation operation of the push mechanism and be rotated to be separated from the guide rail at the time of a drawn-out operation of the push mechanism.
Floor structure of luggage compartment of vehicle
A floor structure of a luggage compartment of a vehicle includes a first floor covering including a first support surface, a second floor covering, and a separator including a second support surface. The second floor covering is disposed above the first support surface. The second floor covering includes a first board, a second board, and a hinge. A dimension of the second board in the front-rear direction of the vehicle is greater than that of the first board in that direction. The hinge connects a first end of the second board to a first end of the first board. The second support surface is located below and closer to a front of the vehicle than the first support surface to support a second end of the second board and to restrict the second end from sliding toward the front when the second floor covering is in a folded position.
HANDLING OF VEHICLE STORAGE SPACE
The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a storage area disposition system of a vehicle for handling storage space of a vehicle storage area. The storage area disposition system receives a location request signal associated with a desired location of at least a first movable partitioning wall of the storage area. The storage area disposition system further arranges the at least first movable partitioning wall in the desired location, wherein the at least first movable partitioning wall divides the storage area into at least a first and a second separate storage compartment.
