Magnetic ladder bracket
10583786 · 2020-03-10 · ·

Disclosed herein is a magnetic ladder bracket adapted to be releasably attached to any surface having ferromagnetic properties, such as steel, iron etc. The magnetic ladder bracket comprises a base coupled to a plurality of magnets one a first side of the base and two or more brackets on a second side of the base. The plurality of magnets provide a jet blast resistant securement of the magnetic ladder bracket to the ferromagnetic surface on a tug or other vehicle. The ladder is secured to the brackets by placing a rail of the ladder in the brackets and securing the ladder using a securing mechanism, such as a pin placed across the bracket. The magnetic ladder bracket further includes one or more handles for removing the bracket from the ferromagnetic surface.

The present invention relates to a storage assembly for storing a foldable ladder within a structure. The assembly includes a first protrusion connectable to first rails of the ladder. The assembly includes a second protrusion connectable to second rails of the ladder. Each of the protrusions includes an enlarged distal end portion. The assembly includes a linear guide track connectable to the structure and to which the distal end portions of the protrusions are slidably received and retained when the ladder is in a folded position. The ladder couples to the structure thereby.

Ladder rack system

A ladder rack system may have a slide with a support flange and a spanning flange. The system may also have a ladder support member adapted to selectively receive a portion of the support flange therein. The system may also have a pivot bracket pivotally connected to the ladder support member. The pivot bracket may be adapted to selectively move the ladder support member.

Rear loading, drop down ladder rack system and method of use

One embodiment of a ladder rack system and method of use are described. The system may have a ladder rack frame with an inner rail and an outer rail. The system may also have a ladder rack bed that is selectively moveable with respect to the ladder rack frame. The ladder rack bed may have an inner beam and an outer beam. The system may also have a driveshaft and at least one driveline arm that are connected together. The driveline arm is also connected to the ladder rack bed.

Foot actuated ladder latching device for a tilting type ladder rack

A ladder latching device for a tilting ladder rack includes an inner extrusion for clamping to the load supporting member of the ladder rack. An outer extrusion is slidably mounted on the inner extrusion. The outer extrusion carries a treadle and ladder rung engaging stop. Between the two extrusions are a toothed rack and a gas spring. The outer extrusion carries a pivotable, spring-biased lever having a tooth for selectively engaging the toothed rack for releasably locking the stop at a desired location relative to a rung of a ladder being unloaded as the outer extrusion is made to slide by applying foot pressure on the treadle. Thus, a ladder may be lowered along the load supporting member until the ladder's feet engage the ground as the stop disengages from its place on a ladder rung.

A ladder rack which is removably mounted on the top edge of a pick-up bed for hauling ladders. The ladder rack can be quickly installed or removed from the pick-up bed without damaging the bed finish. Because the ladder rack is modular, the disassembled rack components can be folded into a space saving configuration for storage.

Ladder Rack and Cable Cleat System

A cable cleat system that secures cables to a ladder rack. The cable cleat system includes a mounting bracket assembly with a bracket body and a floating support bracket slidably mounted to the bracket body. A metal locking tie is positioned between the floating support bracket and the mounting bracket assembly. The mounting bracket assembly is secured to a ladder rung of the ladder rack and the floating support bracket supports the cables secured to the ladder rack. The metal locking tie wraps around the cables supported by the floating support bracket. The floating support bracket and the metal locking tie slide along the bracket body for enabling thermal expansion and contraction of the cables secured to the ladder rack.
