Apparatus For Holding An Electronic Device On A Golf Cart
A holder for an electronic device is mounted on a golf cart steering wheel. The holder preferably is rotatable relative to the golf cart steering wheel. The holder may include a weatherproof cover to protect the electronic device from the elements. The holder may also include a lock to releaseably secure the electronic device within the holder.
Self leveling steering wheel mount assembly
The combination of a vehicle steering wheel assembly and an electronic device mounting system that enables the device to be mounted on said steering wheel assembly and maintained thereon in a substantially vertical position regardless of the rotational position of the steering wheel. A mounting stud is centrally located on the steering wheel assembly and a mounting clip is attached to the electronic device having a structure for attachment to the mounting stud whereby the mounting clip and the mounting stub are characterized by being freely movable each with the other whereby the device is maintained in a substantially vertical position by gravity regardless of the position of the steering wheel. A safety strap maintains the device attached to the steering wheel assembly and includes a first end attached to the mounting stud and a second end attached to the steering wheel.
Computer support assembly
A computer support assembly that is steering wheel mountable includes a frame that is disposable upon a wheel of a steering wheel. Opposing side edges of the frame are configured to abut opposing sides of the wheel. A pair of hooks is coupled to and extends transversely from an upper edge of the frame. The hooks are configured to reversibly couple to a top of the wheel. A tray is hingedly coupled to a lower edge of the frame. The hooks are positioned on the frame such that the frame is couplable to the wheel. The opposing side edges of the frame abut the opposing sides of the wheel to stabilize the frame. The tray is hingedly coupled to the frame such that the tray is positionable transverse from the frame for use. The tray also is positionable substantially parallel to the frame for storage.
WHEEL OF VEHICLE
A vehicle steering wheel includes a base part such as a frame, at least one added part such as a safety module, at least one centring part, and a regulating device for regulating a position of the added part on the base part. The regulating device includes at least one stud, and at least one impression. The at least one impression is arranged to receive the at least one stud in accordance with a first mounting position or at least one second mounting position, in such a manner as to impose a first position of the added part relative to the base part or to impose a second position of the added part relative to the base part.
Self Leveling Steering Wheel Mount Assembly for Electronic Cell Phone Device Having Side Camera
A combination of a vehicle including a steering wheel assembly and an electronic cell phone device having a side positioned camera and a mounting system that enables said cell phone device to be mounted on said steering wheel assembly. The camera faces at least one front seat side window of the vehicle allowing handsfree recording and uploading to cloud storage of events inside and outside the vehicle without the necessity of the driver positioning the camera at the area being recorded.
Patrol vehicle communications system
A communications system for use by an individual having access to a vehicle and one of a vehicle-mounted two-way mobile radio, a portable two-way radio and a vehicle-mounted public address (PA) system utilizes push-to-talk (PTT) switches and volume control arrangements which are mounted within the steering wheel of the vehicle so that the individual can operate the PTT switches and the volume control arrangements with one hand while both of his hands remain positioned about the steering wheel. In addition, microphones which are associated with the mobile radio, portable radio and the PA system are mounted along the headliner of the vehicle cabin.
STEERING WHEEL CLIPBOARD SYSTEMS FOR VEHICLES
Steering wheel mountable clipboard systems for vehicles. The clipboard systems are substantially circular in design and of two semicircular halves that are joined by a hinge mechanism at the straight side diameters for folding and opened mounting. The clipboard systems include front surface capture and attachment mechanisms and a bottom edge shelf on which can be set items, and an accessory board for further enhancement features and capabilities. The clipboard systems comprise one or more backside straps for engaging the steering wheel and securing the clipboard thereon. The circular clipboard system may also accommodate a mounting board for additional item and device attachment and usage.
SAFETY CONTROL SYSTEM FOR APPS IN VEHICLES
According to one aspect of one embodiment of the present invention, a safety control system for using applications in vehicles, includes, a communication device having at least one of an input accessible from within the vehicle and an output communicated within the vehicle, at least one sensor operable to sense at least one condition related to vehicle operation, and data about distraction features of a running application, to and a controller communicated with the sensor and the communication device to selectively suppress at least one of said input and said output in response to a sensed parameter of said at least one condition being outside of a threshold. When an input is suppressed, the driver is prevented from accessing or inputting information into the communication device. When an output is suppressed, communication between the device and the driver of a vehicle is suppressed to, among other things, avoid distracting the driver during certain driving situations or conditions relating to the driver, vehicle and/or environment.
Steering wheel with keyboard
A steering wheel assembly includes a panel and a projector assembly. The panel is connected to a steering wheel body and has a first surface disposed opposite a second surface. The projector is connected to the steering wheel body and displays a virtual input device on at least one of the first surface and the second surface, while the steering wheel is in a non-rotational condition.
