IN-CABIN MONITORING SYSTEM AND IN-CABIN DETECTION METHOD

An in-cabin monitoring system includes a camera which captures an image of an inside of a cabin of a vehicle, a light source which irradiates the inside of the cabin with light, and a controller which controls the camera and the light source. The light source is capable of emitting first light which is light to be emitted when checking whether a person is present using the camera and second light which is stronger than the first light. The controller captures an image of the inside of the cabin using the camera while causing the light source to emit the second light, before the person gets in the vehicle and after the person gets out of the vehicle.

Enhanced amusement vehicles and a method for simulating power-ups in-game virtual vehicle enhancements and virtual weaponry for improved race experience

An amusement vehicle, retrofittable hardware gamification attachment, and method for simulating power-ups in-game virtual vehicle enhancements and virtual weaponry for improved racing experience are disclosed. Amusement vehicle comprises sensor-specific transmitters/receivers for communicating with other amusement vehicles moving in amusement environment. Amusement vehicle comprises a processor simulating power-ups in-game virtual vehicle enhancements and virtual weaponry based on sensor-specific signals transmitted to or received from other amusement vehicles. Power-ups and virtual weaponry are simulated by increasing/decreasing speed, causing damage, providing temporary protection from damage, freezing weaponry, and deactivating weaponry the amusement vehicle for pre-defined time corresponding to sensor-specific signals transmitted to or received from other amusement vehicles in gaming event of amusement environment. Amusement vehicle comprises cameras for capturing still images/video of amusement vehicle and surroundings. An adaptive video system (AVS) processes, transmits, and displays still images/video on a display screen of amusement vehicle and display device external from amusement environment.

Armrest module with human-machine interface for vehicle seat

An armrest module for a motor vehicle. The armrest module includes an armrest arm able to support the arm of an occupant of the motor vehicle, the armrest arm extending primarily in a longitudinal direction (X); a pad, the pad being pivotable relative to the armrest arm about two axes (A1, A2) which are perpendicular to each other, the two axes (A1, A2) also being perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (X) of the armrest arm; and a human-machine interface provided by the pad.

VEHICLE VIRTUALIZATION SYSTEM, TERMINAL DEVICE, IN-VEHICLE DEVICE, VIRTUALIZATION METHOD, AND VIRTUALIZATION PROGRAM
20220083360 · 2022-03-17 · ·

A vehicle virtualization system includes a terminal device, one or more in-vehicle devices, and a determination unit. The determination unit acquires terminal configuration information about a hardware configuration of the terminal device and in-vehicle configuration information about a hardware configuration of the in-vehicle device. The determination unit determines a virtual configuration of the terminal device and the in-vehicle device on the basis of the acquired terminal configuration information and the acquired in-vehicle configuration information, the virtual configuration being required for predetermined processing. The determination unit generates setting information for implementing the determined virtual configuration, and transmits the setting information to the terminal device and the in-vehicle device. The terminal device and the in-vehicle device each change settings thereof on the basis of the setting information received from the determination unit.

Camera mounting structure

An upper column cover includes a final positioning part, an initial positioning part, and a guide part. The final positioning part positions a camera in a state where the camera is arranged at a final assembly position at which a lens of the camera is arranged in an opening. The initial positioning part positions the camera in a state where the camera is arranged at an initial assembly position at which the lens of the camera is separated from a top wall portion and a suspended wall portion. The guide part guides the camera in a process in which the camera is moved from the initial assembly position to the final assembly position while regulating a movement of the lens of the camera in upward, downward, rightward, and leftward directions with respect to the upper column cover.
