A magnetic stand for a tablet device is disclosed. The magnetic stand is configured to rigidly hold a portion of the tablet device in place and to shield the magnetic field from adversely affecting nearby devices susceptible to strong magnetic fields. The shielding portion of the magnetic stand allows for significant increases in magnetic field strength when compared to similarly configured, unshielded products.

Vehicle and roof construction including a display device for use therein

A vehicle includes a roof construction comprising at least one semi-transparent panel fitted in an opening in the fixed roof of the vehicle. The panel is connected to a stationary frame. A headliner on the interior side of the fixed roof is provided for hiding the fixed roof and stationary frame from view. At least one display device is capable of showing images from its display screen to occupants in the vehicle. A drive system is provided for moving the display screen at least into a storage position and into an operational position in which the display screen is visible for occupants in an interior space of the vehicle. The display screen, in its storage position, is moved into a cavity above the headliner and is thus hidden from view and protected by the headliner.

The tab may contact the shaft along a plane adjacent to the shaft. The tab may retain/apply a force to the shaft at a tangent of the shaft. The tab may contact a protrusion in response to engagement of the shaft and tab. The tab may comprise a set of opposing sides; one side may contact the shaft; the other side may contact the protrusion. The tab may extend from the base in an extended direction; the tab may contact the shaft along a plane aligned with the extended direction; the tab may apply force to the shaft transverse to the extended direction. The tab may rotate when engaged with the shaft.

Each subassembly including a rotary output shaft and a set of interconnected transmission elements coupled to the output shaft and to the speaker assembly to automatically swing the speaker assembly based on a command signal.
