The lower portion is configured to fit into a gap of an interior vehicle door, the impression typically formed by at least a first inside wall, a second inside wall, and an inside bottom surface. The lower portion may include a molded form configured to fit inside the impression of an interior vehicle door, or a spring-biased connector to attach to the impression.

The support includes a first jaw, able to receive a first edge of the device, and a second jaw, able to receive a second edge of the device. The support also includes a sheath and an arm, the arm being able to translate relative to the sheath. The arm includes two segments, articulated to one another using a rotation axis such that the distal segment is urged to rotate relative to the proximal segment in the direction bringing the second jaw closer to the first jaw.

Tool mounting device

A tool mounting device may have a base having a first base flange and a second base flange extending therefrom. A tool support may be connected to the first and second base flanges where the tool support may be adapted for selective pivotal motion with respect to the first and second base flanges. The tool support may have a first arm and a second arm and the arms may be connected by an arm base. The arms may also be adapted to support a tool thereon. A biasing member may be connected between one of the base flanges and the tool support.

The telematics system with multiple cameras can also include a modular camera configured to be installed in the camera module receptacle and a bracket, the modular camera and bracket installed onto the housing by removing the side cover, installing the modular camera and bracket onto the housing, and securing the side cover onto the housing. Securing the side cover onto the housing locks the viewing angle of the rotatable camera and the modular camera.

The stand's design permits the use of the phone without causing unwanted movements that will prevent from exerting the necessary pressure to activate the telephone's commands. The device can have a battery to charge the telephone.
