An object is to provide a technique that makes it easy to retrofit a device to a vehicle. An in-vehicle device attachment structure includes a retrofit device attachment portion provided in a vehicle, an intermediate base plate attached to the retrofit device attachment portion, and a retrofit device attached to the intermediate base plate.

MOBILE MOUNTING DEVICE SYSTEM

A mobile device mounting system includes a device case and a mount. The device case includes: an insert including a rectangular bore and defining a set of undercut sections about the rectangular bore; and a first set of magnetic elements arranged in a first pattern about the rectangular bore. The mount includes: a body; a polygonal boss extending from the body and configured to insert into the rectangular bore; a set of locking jaws arranged on the polygonal boss configured to transiently mate with the set of undercut sections to constrain the polygonal boss within the rectangular bore; and a second set of magnetic elements arranged in a second pattern about the polygonal boss and configured to transiently couple to the first set of magnetic elements to transiently retain the mount against the device case and to drive the set of locking jaws toward the set of undercut sections.

Modular display attachment

An attachment of a display for use in a vehicle is provided. The attachment comprising a rigid bracket having a first end with a connecting flange and a second end with two flat angle brackets. A display carrier configured to support a display. An adapter plate with a plurality of slots and fixation ears. Each fixation ear being fixedly mounted into a slot. The adapter plate is mounted on the display carrier, and at least a fixation ear cooperates with a flat angle bracket.

BRACKET ASSEMBLY AND A METHOD FOR MOUNTING A VEHICLE COMPONENT

A bracket assembly for mounting of at least one component to a vehicle structure, comprising: an interface bracket arrangement for attachment to the vehicle structure, comprising a stopping member; a component mounting bracket arrangement for attaching at least a first component, comprising a first hook and a second hook, and being configured to be brought to a fixed state by attaching it to the interface bracket arrangement by fasteners, and to be brought to a tiltable state by releasing the fasteners; wherein, in the tiltable state, the first hook is configured to engage with the vehicle structure to enable tilting of the component mounting bracket arrangement relative to the interface bracket; wherein the second hook engages with the stopping member during the tilting of the component mounting bracket arrangement to hold it in a fixed intermediate tilt position defined by the second hook.
