Curtain airbag device mounting structure and curtain airbag deployment method
A curtain airbag device mounting structure includes: a first pillar forming a part of a front pillar and extends substantially along a vehicle height direction; a second pillar forming another part of the front pillar, the second pillar being disposed on a rear side of a vehicle relative to the first pillar at a predetermined distance from the first pillar and extending substantially along the vehicle height direction; a transparent member bridged between the first pillar and the second pillar; and a curtain airbag device including a curtain airbag stored along a roof side rail and the second pillar, the curtain airbag being configured to inflate and deploy in a curtain-like fashion over a side portion of a cabin of the vehicle in case of a collision of the vehicle.
Speaker mounting structure to front pillar in vehicle and method of manufacturing vehicle
A device is mounted on a vehicle body and housed in a space between a pillar inner and a pillar trim. A speaker is inserted into an opening portion opened in the pillar trim from an inside of a vehicle compartment and retained therein. A harness is connected to the speaker and disposed in the space. In a part of the speaker to be inserted into an inner side of the pillar trim, a protrusion portion is provided that protrudes radially outward. An insertion acceptance portion that is a gap for accepting insertion of the protrusion portion is provided in an opening edge portion facing the opening portion on an inner surface side of the pillar trim. The insertion acceptance portion has a width larger than a width of the protrusion portion.
PILLAR GARNISH
An elongated pillar garnish configured to be attached to a gap between a peripheral edge portion of a window pane of a vehicle and a pillar of the vehicle, the pillar garnish including: an elongated attachment member for attaching the pillar garnish to the gap; and an elongated decorative member assembled to a front surface side of the attachment member, in which the attachment member includes an elongated main body part, and a cover part provided to at least one end of the main body part in a longitudinal direction, in which the cover part has a covering portion covering at least a part of a front surface of the decorative member, and a supporting wall portion erected from the main body part toward the outer side and supporting the covering portion, and in which the supporting wall portion is provided along a direction intersecting with the longitudinal direction.
Vehicle pillar structure
There is provided a vehicle pillar structure including: a pillar-shaped component that forms a pillar; a pillar garnish that is disposed on a vehicle cabin side of the pillar-shaped component; and a supporting component that is provided between the pillar-shaped component and the pillar garnish and is capable of undergoing elastic deformation, and that supports one or a plurality of mounted components that have been mounted along the pillar-shaped component.
FRONT PILLAR STRUCTURE
A front pillar structure is provided with a pillar frame component that forms part of a front pillar, and with a pillar garnish that forms part of the front pillar, and that has a surface covering portion that extends substantially in the vehicle vertical direction and covers the pillar frame component from the vehicle cabin inner side, and an elastic body that is joined to a wall surface facing the pillar frame component of the surface covering portion, and that firmly grips inside itself the vehicle cabin inner-side flange portions of the first component and the second component.
AUTOMOBILE INTERIOR COMPONENT
An automotive interior component with an airbag door includes: a core member covering a front pillar and including a hinge part; and a surface member stretched so as to cover a front surface of the core member. The airbag door is a site of the core member partitioned by the hinge part which site is capable of abutting on an airbag. The surface member includes a fold part extending to an outer edge side of a rear surface of the core member so as to cover an edge part connecting between the front surface and the rear surface of the core member. The fold part includes a first fold part not crossing the hinge part and positioned on the airbag door side, and a second fold part bent from the first fold part and crossing the hinge part. The first and second fold parts are stitched with a thread.
PILLAR STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
There is provided a pillar structure for a vehicle, that has: a pillar frame member having a superposed portion, at which a second wall portion, which faces a vehicle cabin side, of a second member that extends in a length direction of a pillar is superposed with a first wall portion, which faces the vehicle cabin side, of a first member that extends in the length direction of the pillar, and linearly welded portions that are formed due to an edge end portion of the second wall portion being linearly welded to the first wall portion; and a pillar garnish that is mounted at least to the second wall portion, and covers the first wall portion and the second wall portion from the vehicle cabin side.
FRONT PILLAR STRUCTURE
A front pillar structure has: a front side pillar frame member and a rear side pillar frame member that structure a front pillar disposed at a vehicle transverse direction outer side of a front windshield glass; a transparent member that extends between the front side pillar frame member and the rear side pillar frame member, and that is disposed along a direction intersecting the front windshield glass; a planar portion that is formed at the front side pillar frame member so as to face toward a vehicle front side, and to which a vehicle transverse direction outer side end portion of the front windshield glass is mounted from a vehicle front side; and an angle absorbing member that is provided at a vehicle front side end portion of the transparent member, and that is mounted to the planar portion from the vehicle front side.
TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY
A trim panel assembly includes a trim panel configured to be removably connected to a pillar of a vehicle body structure. A connecting member includes a first part connected to the trim panel and a second part configured to be connected to the pillar. The first part is configured to be separable from the second part. A fastening member js connected between the first and second parts of the connecting member to limit a separation distance of the trim panel when the first part separates from the second part.
Component system for fixing a trim part and motor vehicle
A component system for fixing a trim part in a defined position as well as a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger car, is provided. The component system has a trim part that is to be fixed in relation to a motor vehicle body component, in particular a headliner, a trim support for supporting the trim part as well as a counter-pressure device for applying a first force to a first area of the trim part. At least one section of the trim support is disposed on a side of the first area opposite the counter-pressure device for applying a second force oriented in an opposite direction from the first force to the first area. A second area of the trim part is disposed on the side of the trim support opposite the first area and thus forms a visible side of the trim part.
