The second space is provided between adjacent protrusions and is closed by the second partition member. The first and second spaces communicate with each other through a communication part formed as a part of the protrusion. The communication part is configured to communicate an inside of the protrusion with an outside. An opening of the communication part opened to the second space is provided at a side wall of the protrusion.

Provided are a partition member including a soundproof structure capable of efficiently insulating noise with a lightweight configuration, and an electronic device and a vehicle using the partition member.

In the partition member including the soundproof structure, the soundproof structure includes a support body having an opening, and a membrane-like member that is fixed to an opening surface of the support body in which the opening is formed and that vibrates as noise is incident, and a rear surface plate fixed to the support body on a side opposite to the membrane-like member, and the soundproof structure absorbs a sound by a resonance structure formed by a rear surface space surrounded by the rear surface plate, the membrane-like member, and the support body and the membrane-like member, and insulates a sound having a frequency higher than a relative maximum resonance frequency at which a sound absorption coefficient becomes a relative maximum among resonance frequencies of the resonance structure. The relative maximum resonance frequency is set to be lower than a sound insulation target frequency set for noise. Furthermore, in a case where the sound insulation target frequency is indicated as fn and the relative maximum resonance frequency is indicated as fr, fn/fr is 1.05 to 1.50.

Vehicle partition devices, assemblies, systems, and methods of using the same

This disclosure is related to vehicle partition devices, assemblies, systems, and methods of using the same. The vehicle partition devices can be configured to prevent, or at least mitigate, the spread of pathogens inside of a vehicle cabin. In certain embodiments, the vehicle partition devices can include a flexible and/or deformable configuration that permits the vehicle partitions to be easily installed and uninstalled within vehicle cabins of varying sizes. In certain embodiments, the vehicle partition devices also can be transitioned to spacing-saving configurations, which permit the vehicle partition devices to be stored compactly when not in use.

A passenger suite for an aircraft passenger cabin includes a seat having an adjustable backrest, multiple forward sound drivers, left side drivers, right side drivers, at least one sensor detecting the position of the backrest, and a controller in communication with the drivers and operable to adjust an output of at least one of the drivers based on the position of the backrest. A third driver may be positioned within or behind the seat in communication with the controller. The forward drivers may be tweeter drivers; the side drivers may be midrange drivers; and the third driver may be a woofer driver. In some embodiments, a particular left side driver and a particular aligned right side driver are active to deliver audio content according to the position of the backrest. A surround sound system installable in an aircraft cabin, such as within an aircraft passenger suite.

Systems and methods for automatically adjusting the interior cabin of an autonomous vehicle are provided. In one example embodiment, an autonomous vehicle can include a main body including a floor and a ceiling that at least partially define an interior cabin of the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle can include a partition wall that is movable within the interior cabin of the autonomous vehicle. The partition wall can extend between the floor to the ceiling of the main body. The autonomous vehicle can include a computing system configured to receive data indicative of one or more service assignments associated with the autonomous vehicle and to adjust a position of the partition wall within the interior cabin based at least in part on the one or more service assignments.

VEHICLE CABIN PARTITIONING DEVICE

A partition provided between a pair of vehicle seats arranged to face each other in a vehicle cabin is provided to extend from an upper part to a lower part of the vehicle cabin in a partitioning state. Therefore, the partition in the partitioning state can block respective visual lines of occupants seated in the pair of vehicle seats. Since the partition in the non-partitioning state is accommodated in a predetermined position, by setting the partition to the non-partitioning state when the occupant is seated on only one side of the pair of vehicle seats or the like, the occupant can obtain a feeling of openness. The partition can be selectively switched between the partitioning state and the non-partitioning state by an operation switch. Accordingly, it is possible to secure a private space for allowing the occupant to have a comfortable state or a relaxed state inside the vehicle cabin.

PARCEL SHELF FOR SOUND MANAGEMENT IN VEHICLE

A parcel shelf for a vehicle includes a tray disposed between a trunk area and a cabin area of the vehicle and a soundproofing partition extending laterally between two distal portions of the tray such that the tray is partitioned into a forward region and a rearward region. The forward region includes openings and each of these openings is sealed to limit passage of sound from the trunk area into the cabin area through the forward region. The soundproofing partition is configured such that the sound from the trunk area reaching the rearward region is redirected along an extended sound pathway before entering the cabin area. A resulting sound level entering the cabin area is reduced below a defined threshold level.

Vehicle with individual compartments

The vehicle (1) is provided with a pair of front compartments and a pair of rear compartments that are inclined to a first lateral side toward rear parts thereof. A front part (23B) of the rear compartment (23) on the first lateral side is positioned between rear parts (21B, 22B) of the front compartments (21, 22) while a rear part (22B) of the front compartment (22) on a second lateral side opposite from the first lateral side is positioned between front parts (23B, 24B) of the rear compartments (23, 24).
