CLAMP AND WIRE HARNESS
A clamp including: a holding implement that holds an outer tube the outer tube being cylindrical and surrounding an outer circumference of a wire; and a fixing implement that is linked to the holding implement and is fixed to a fixing target part, wherein: the holding implement is a separate component from the fixing implement, the holding implement includes a holding part that holds the outer tube, and a first linking part, and the fixing implement includes a fixing part fixed to the fixing target part, and a second linking part linked to the first linking part.
Low profile rear lamp applique assembly
A rear liftgate assembly with at least one rear lamp applique assembly and process for manufacturing same. The lamp applique assembly includes a rear lamp applique housing with at least one attachment surface for attaching to an outer panel of the liftgate assembly. A plurality of integrated snap attachment features are provided to connect the lamp applique assembly to the outer panel, thereby eliminating additional bonding and fasteners. A self-sealing wire harness connected accepts an integrated lamp connector, thereby eliminating the need for access openings, to further minimize water intrusion, and eliminate gaskets.
Removable component system
A removable component system may include a removable component selectively connectable to a mounting surface including a component electrical unit; an antenna; a system controller configured to communicate with the component electrical unit and the antenna; and/or a track assembly configured to be fixed to said mounting surface. The removable component may be selectively connectable to said mounting surface via the track assembly. The removable component may be configured for selective connection with, removal from, and movement along the track assembly. The system controller may be configured to obtain a position of the removable component relative to said mounting surface via the antenna and the component electrical unit (e.g., via a component controller, a sensor, and/or a communication device thereof).
Tube clamp
A tube holder includes a tube clamp having a housing and a clamping mechanism. The housing has a tube entry along a major surface thereof. A first tube passageway extends from the tube entry into the housing, and a tube receiving channel is coupled to the first tube passageway. The clamping mechanism comprises a lever handle user operable to transition from a first position to a second position. A gate is coupled to the lever handle, and a tube pinch is coupled to the lever handle. When a tube is peripherally inserted into the tube receiving channel and the lever handle of the clamping mechanism is in the second position, the gate prevents the tube from exiting the housing via the first tube passageway, and the tube pinch pinches the tube so as to prevent a flow of a fluid through the tube.
Wire harness with insulated twisted wire and welded holding member
A wire harness includes a cable and a holding member. The cable includes a twisted wire, and an insulation coating that coats the twisted wire. The cable has a bent portion. The holding member covers a range of the cable including the bent portion, and retains a shape of the bent portion. The twisted wire is in contact with the holding member at least in a part of the bent portion.
Seat module for cable arrangement
A seat module adapted to be attached to a seat having mechanical parts and electric devices for seat operation in a motor vehicle includes at least one operating cable for activating at least one device, and a module plate formed with a mounting feature for attaching to the seat and a retention feature for attaching the at least one operating cable. An end portion of the operating cable is temporarily stowed on the module plate in a pre-assembled state where the operating cable is attached to the module plate, and the end portion of the operating cable is connected to the electric devices and/or mechanical parts of the seat in an assembled state where the module plate with the retained operating cables is securely mounted to the seat.
Wire harness capable of suppressing a decrease in insulation reliability
A wire harness including a plurality of first electric wire members that each have a first flexible electric wire and a hard electric wire electrically connected to the first flexible electric wire: a plurality of second electric wire members that are second flexible electric wires: a tube through which the plurality of first electric wire members and the plurality of second electric wire members pass: and a first fixing member for bundling the plurality of first electric wire members and the plurality of second electric wire members, wherein: the tube includes a bend closest to an end surface in a longitudinal direction of the tube, and the wire harness is configured to achieve a first arrangement and a second arrangement.
Single to multiple layer integral busbar structure
A conductive structure includes: a single-layer busbar that is formed in a plate shape and constitutes a conductive path; and a multi-layer busbar that is configured by laminating a plurality of busbars which are formed as plates thinner than the single-layer busbar and that is joined to an end of the single-layer busbar and constitutes the conductive path. The multi-layer busbar includes a main body portion in which at least some of the laminated plurality of busbars are capable of mutual displacement relative to the busbars adjacent thereto, and a joining end located at a end of the main body portion on the single-layer busbar side and in which the laminated plurality of busbars are incapable of mutual displacement relative to each other, the joining end being joined to the end of the single-layer busbar.
Wire harness routing method, wire harness routing structure, and wire harness protector
A wire harness routing method is provided. A wire harness is routed on a protector base. A protective tape is wound around an outer periphery of the wire harness at a position outside an end portion of the protector base in a longitudinal direction. A cover is put on the protector base under the above state. The wire harness is fixed to, by winding a binding band at a position where the tape is wound, a wire harness-fixed protruding piece protruding outward in the longitudinal direction from an end portion of the cover in the longitudinal direction.
Wire harness with a reference mark for an attachment orientation
An object of the present disclosure is to provide a technique that can prevent, in a wire harness including a fixing member, the fixing member from being attached in a deviated orientation. A wire harness includes: a wiring member; a fixing member provided on the wiring member; and a first reference mark and a second reference mark that are each provided at a position of the wiring member that corresponds to the fixing member. The first reference mark and the second reference mark each have a distinctive external appearance in a circumferential direction of the wiring member. The first reference mark indicates a reference position of the wiring member in the circumferential direction, and the second reference mark indicates a position of the wiring member in the circumferential direction, the position serving as a reference for an attachment orientation of the fixing member.
