A vehicle control system has a first communication network, a first operation component, a first vehicle control unit connected to the communication network and to the first operation component, wherein the first vehicle control unit is configured to control a first data connection between the first operation component and the first vehicle control unit by a first signal to the first operation component, and a second vehicle control unit connected to the first operation component, wherein the second vehicle control unit is configured to control a second data connection between the first operation component and the second vehicle control unit by a second signal to the first operation component. The first data connection and the second data connection can be controlled so that at least one of the first data connection and the second data connection is enabled or disabled.

Interface for harmonizing performance of different autonomous vehicles in a fleet
Among other things, we describe techniques for an interface board for harmonizing performance of different autonomous vehicles in a fleet. In an embodiment, the interface system includes a printed circuit board installed in a host vehicle that includes an interface controller and interface circuitry coupled to the interface controller. The interface circuitry includes a plurality of relays configured by the interface controller to route/pass sensor signals received from actuators of the host vehicle to the interface controller, and route/pass control signals from the interface controller to actuator controllers of the host vehicle that control the actuators in accordance with an operating mode. Signal conditioning circuitry in the interface controller conditions the sensor signals and control signals to ensure that the electrical characteristics of the sensor signals are compatible with the interface controller, and that the electrical characteristics of the control signals are compatible with the actuator controllers.
Method and control unit for facilitating diagnosis for a vehicle
Disclosed are methods and control units for facilitating diagnosis for a vehicle. The invention comprises: receiving configuration information related to a configuration of an add-on interface from a vehicle external communication unit, the add-on interface being arranged in the vehicle as an interface between a vehicle internal system and the add-on system; configuring the add-on interface based on the configuration information; creating, based on the configuration information, at least one diagnostic identifier related to the add-on system; and providing diagnostic information corresponding to the at least one diagnostic identifier to the vehicle external communication unit, thereby facilitating diagnosis of the add-on system performed by at least one diagnosis tool associated with the external communication unit.

An acceleration sensor as a physical quantity sensor includes: a substrate; a correction electrode fixed to the substrate; a detection electrode fixed to the substrate; and a moving member fixed to the substrate. The moving member has: a base part; a first anchor part fixed to the substrate; a first finger electrode extending from the base part and facing the correction electrode; a mass part provided in such a way as to be displaceable in a direction of detection of a physical quantity in relation to the substrate; and a second finger electrode extending from the mass part and facing the detection electrode. A distance between a second anchor part where the detection electrode and the substrate are fixed, and the base part, is shorter than a distance between the second anchor part and the mass part.
SAFETY METHOD AND SYSTEM ON VEHICLES WITH TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION
Aspects of the invention are directed towards a system and method for safe decoupling of the external power supply from a vehicle. The technology described herein provides an indication or an alert to the user at an appropriate time and avoids the possible damage to the system. The system comprises an electrical port by which the refrigerator can be connected to an external AC mains supply via an electrical cable when the vehicle is in stationary state. The system further comprises a refrigerator main controller unit (RMU) for controlling the power delivered to the refrigerator in both stationary and driving states of the vehicle. There is a safety system installed for restricting the vehicle from being driven when the electrical port of the system is connected to the AC mains supply via the electrical cable and the refrigerator is powered by the AC mains supply.

In some implementations, the system may include a plurality of wheel speed sensors, each of the plurality of wheel speed sensors being configured to monitor the speed of a respective wheel of a vehicle. In addition, the system may include a central electronic control unit. The system may include a plurality of controlling devices, each of the plurality of controlling devices being communicatively coupled to at least one wheel speed sensor of the plurality of wheel speed sensors. Moreover, the system may include a central electronic control unit communicatively coupled to each of the plurality of controlling devices via a network connection and configured to process data received from each of the controlling devices.
