Wiring system architecture
A new wiring and power and communications system for an automobile that includes a plurality of devices, wherein the devices are connected to a backbone section that has an outer sheathing, a first conductor disposed within the outer sheathing, a second conductor disposed within the outer sheathing, a pair of inner sheathing members disposed within the outer sheathing and located on opposing sides of the at least one conductor, the inner sheathing members configured to electrically insulate the first conductor from the second conductor, and a shield member disposed within the outer sheathing.
Electrical connection box and wire harness
A wire harness includes an electrical connection box. The electrical connection box includes a body in which an electronic component is mounted and a lower cover. The lower cover covers a rectangular frame and a vertically lower end portion of the rectangular frame, and includes: a bottom disposed parallel to a panel of a vehicle body, the panel facing the lower cover; an inlet having the smallest distance from the panel; and a channel-forming depression. The channel-forming depression is provided on the vertically lower side than the inlet, formed by bending at least a part of the bottom toward the inside of the lower cover, and formed along a surface of the panel, so as to allow liquid that has entered between the bottom and the panel to flow to the outside.
ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX
Provided is an electrical junction box including a main body casing accommodating a circuit, an electric-wire mounting section is disposed on the outer side of the main body casing, a terminal section of an electric wire is mounted thereto. The electric-wire mounting section includes: an accommodation section that can be opened so as to accommodate the terminal section of the electric wire, wherein a connection section is electrically connected to the terminal section; an electric-wire holding cover that can be opened and closed covers the accommodation section. When closed, the electric-wire holding cover engages the electric wire yet to be connected to the connection section, keeping the electric wire from being dislodged from the accommodation section and forming an opening area for accommodating the connection of the terminal section of the electric wire to the connection section. The main cover is configured to cover the opening area.
ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX
Provided is an electrical junction box including an attachment body that is assembled to an electrical junction box main body through a rotating operation, and having a novel structure that makes it possible to suppress vibration of the attachment body relative to the electrical junction box main body and advantageously ensure the stability of conduction between the electrical junction box main body and the attachment body. An electrical junction box includes an electrical junction box main body having a mount portion and a separate attachment body removably attached to the mount portion, a pair of connectors are respectively provided on opposing surfaces of the mount portion and the attachment body are connected to each other, and a vibration suppressing member is between the opposing surfaces, the vibration suppressing member suppressing vibration of the attachment body by exerting a frictional force on the opposing surfaces.
Electrical connection cassette
Provided is an electrical connection cassette with which it is possible to freely expand a device and add functions in accordance with the size of free space. An electrical connection cassette is provided with: a circuit board; and first connection terminals and second connection terminals mounted on the circuit board and having terminal shapes that can be engaged with each other. In a state with a terminal connection direction oriented in a predetermined direction with respect to the circuit board, the first connection terminals are disposed on the side of one main surface of the circuit board, and in a state with a terminal connection direction oriented in a direction parallel to the predetermined direction, the second connection terminals are disposed near the other main surface of the circuit board.
Electric connection box
An electric connection box includes a frame, a lower cover that covers the lower surface of the frame, and at least one block that is attached in the frame and disposed at a position along a peripheral wall of the frame. An electric wire that is connected to a component attached to the block out of the blocks is drawn horizontally from the block toward inside the frame.
Modular electrical distribution system for vehicles
A modular electrical distribution system for an RV comprises a water-tight housing for mounting to the RV with a plurality of water-tight openings for receiving electrical cables or wires from a towing vehicle and/or auxiliary electrical devices. The system includes a power-in assembly, a trailer connection assembly and a breaker assembly that can be tailored to the particular electrical distribution needs of the RV. The trailer connection assembly includes a plurality of electrical terminals for engagement to wires connected to electrical components of the towing vehicle, such as brake lights, turn signal lights, etc. The breaker assembly includes a plurality of circuit breakers or fuses connected to the power-in assembly and to a plurality of corresponding output bars with output terminals to connect to the cables/wires for the auxiliary electrical devices. The system can include an auxiliary circuit for connection to an auxiliary power source, such as a solar panel array.
Electrical junction box and wire harness
An electrical junction box includes a housing attachable to an object to be attached, a housing support member holding the housing and attachable to the object to be attached, and male and female screw members. The housing support member includes a first portion to be engaged with a first engaging portion in the housing, thereby achieving positioning therewith, a second portion to be engaged with a second engaging portion in the housing, thereby achieving positioning therewith, an extending portion extending between the first and second portions to be engaged, and a through hole provided to an end of the extending portion on the second portion to be engaged side. The housing has a through hole. The through holes are disposed to be concentric in a state that the first and second portions to be engaged are respectively engaged with the first and second engaging portion.
