GENERIC IN-VEHICLE COMPUTE SYSTEM
A generic domain compute system that is customizable for at least one domain or zone compute in a vehicle having a gateway power and control (GAPAC). The GAPAC has a power supply, a scalable microcontroller, a power management integrated circuit, a set of standardized and scalable external connectors for external inter-connections for Ethernet and car connector, a standard and scalable internal connector for internal inter-connections for power, control and generic busses. At least a first compute extension (COMEX) has a standard and scalable connecter internally connected to the GAPAC. The COMEX has a scalable microcontroller, a power management integrated circuit and a set of standardized and scalable connectors for external inter-connections. The COMEX is supplied with a permanent voltage from the GAPAC power supply. The microcontrollers, external connectors and internal connectors are scaled according to the domain or zone compute application.
RESIN STRUCTURE
A resin structure includes a body divided into regions and a lid to cover one of the regions. The body includes a first partition wall extending in a partition direction to partition a pair of regions. The lid covers one of the pair of regions and includes a second partition wall extending along the first partition wall. The first partition wall has a protrusion at an end of the first partition wall, the protrusion protruding toward the second partition wall, and having a first inclined surface inclined in a manner gradually approaching a distal end side in the partition direction toward a distal end of the protrusion away from the first partition wall. The second partition wall has a second inclined surface inclined along the first inclined surface. The lid is to be attached to the body being guided by the second inclined surface facing the first inclined surface.
METAL-COATED, POLYMER-ENCAPSULATED ELECTRONICS MODULES AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Presented are metal-coated, polymer-encapsulated power semiconductor modules, methods for making/using such power modules, and vehicles with traction power inverters containing such power modules. A power electronics assembly includes one or more power semiconductor modules packaged inside an assembly housing. Each power module includes a substrate, a semiconductor device mounted on the substrate, a polymeric encapsulant encasing therein the substrate and semiconductor device, and an electrical lead connected to the semiconductor device and projecting from the polymeric encapsulant. A metallic or ceramic coating is applied to select sections of the polymeric encapsulant's exposed exterior surface. The metallic/ceramic coating may be a single metallic layer that covers substantially all of the exposed surface area of the polymeric encapsulant's exterior surface. An optional hydrophobic polymer layer, passivated layer, and/or oxidized layer may cover the exterior surface of this metallic layer. Alternatively, another metallic layer or intercalated lamellar microstructures may cover the metallic layer.
Junction box and power storage device
A junction box includes a housing having a plurality of side wall portions, and a liquid detector including a first terminal portion and a second terminal portion. The junction box is disposed in a housing case housing a power storage module. The first terminal portion and the second terminal portion are directed toward a lower side of one of the side wall portions and drawn out from the inside of the housing to the outside of the housing.
Sensor Module For Being Mounted on a Panel Component of a Motor Vehicle and Panel Component Comprising Such a Sensor Module
Sensor module for mounting on a motor vehicle panel component having a sensor housing, at least one environment sensor, at least part of which is disposed in the sensor housing, and which is configured to send and/or receive electromagnetic signals to thus detect a vehicle environment, and a kinematic system having a drive configured to move the sensor housing from a retracted position into at least one deployed position. The kinematic system is configured to move the sensor housing into a first deployed position, which activates the at least one environment sensor to detect the vehicle environment in a portion of its field of view, and to move the sensor housing into a second deployed position, which activates the at least one environment sensor to detect the vehicle environment in its entire field of view.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION UNIT
There is disclosed an electrical connection unit for a refrigeration system comprising: a container defining an interior for containing electrical circuitry, the container having an external port configured to couple with an external connector; a closure moveable relative to the container between a closed configuration in which access to the interior is prevented, and an open configuration in which access to the interior is permitted. The closure has a locking portion defining a connector opening for receiving the connector, configured so that movement of the closure to the open configuration is prevented by interlocking engagement of the connector and the closure. There is also disclosed an associated method of coupling or decoupling a connector and an electrical connection unit.
