Method and device for operating a speech-controlled information system for a vehicle
A voice input by a vehicle user is taken as a basis for determining at least one keyword from a set of prescribed keywords. The at least one keyword is taken as a basis for determining at least one event and/or at least one state from a set of events and/or states of the vehicle that are stored during a prescribed period of time. This involves the respective event and/or the respective state being stored in conjunction with at least one condition occurrence that characterizes a respective condition that needs to be met in order for the event to occur and/or the respective state to exist. In addition, a response is determined from a set of prescribed responses on the basis of the condition occurrence that is associated with the determined event and/or state. Furthermore, a signaling signal is determined on the basis of the ascertained response.
Power window sync switch
The present invention is a power window sync switch for the windows of a vehicle that permits controlling all windows by a single active home or main control window switch. It permits the driver to move all window panels in the vehicle to the same position at the same time. The power window sync switch sends a signal to a micro-processor within the switch to indicate that the window position selected via the actuated switch is to be applied to all window panels simultaneously. The micro-processor within the switch may then proceed to actuate all window lift motors within the vehicle, causing movement of all window panels to the appropriate positions.
DRIVING MODE DECISION SUPPORT
A driving mode decision support for a decision to select a driving mode of driving on at least one road segment is provided to a user of an autonomous vehicle. A driver driving profile of a user is received. Segment information defining the at least one road segment is queried. The segment information includes at least a model driver driving profile associated with the at least one road segment. A driving mode decision support for the user is determined for the at least one road segment based on the driver driving profile of the user and the model driver driving profile. An indication of the driving mode decision support is provided to the user. The driving mode decision support includes a recommended driving mode of driving on the at least one road segment.
Dialogue system, vehicle and method for controlling the vehicle
A dialogue system, a vehicle and a method for controlling the vehicle is provided. The vehicle monitors at least one of vehicle state information and driving environment information, generates a vehicle use pattern based on the monitored information; generates and storing notification event information corresponding to the vehicle use pattern; determines whether the monitored information corresponds to any one of event information; when it is determined that the monitored information corresponds to any one of event information, determines notification timing of the any one of notification event information; when the current time is notification timing of the any one of notification event information, outputs guide information on the notification event information; generates a control command corresponding to the notification event information; and executes a function corresponding the notification event information based on the control command.
Method for operating a motor vehicle and motor vehicle
A method for operating a motor vehicle, in which a control device of the motor vehicle receives a control input conducted by a vehicle occupant. By means of a sensor device of the motor vehicle, it is checked whether at least one predetermined criterion is met. When the at least one predetermined criterion is met and when the control input is received, the control device brings about a movement of at least one sun visor of the motor vehicle from a stowed position into a functional position, in which the at least one sun visor is flipped down. Furthermore, the invention relates to a motor vehicle.
MESSAGING DISPLAY APPARATUS
A display apparatus configured to receive a command, and convert the command to displayable information to an outside pedestrian or drivers in other vehicles may include a main body that includes a securing portion to secure the display apparatus to a vehicle; a communication unit to receive the command; a processor to convert the command to displayable information; a display portion having a displaying layer to display information; and a power managing unit to store and provide electrical energy for the display apparatus. In one embodiment, the power managing unit may include a power generating unit to be positioned to overlap with the displaying layer.
CONTEXTUAL UTTERANCE RESOLUTION IN MULTIMODAL SYSTEMS
A system and method of responding to a vocal utterance may include capturing and converting the utterance to word(s) using a language processing method, such as natural language processing. The context of the utterance and of the system, which may include multimodal inputs, may be used to determine the meaning and intent of the words.
TWO-WAY IN-VEHICLE VIRTUAL PERSONAL ASSISTANT
One or more embodiments include a virtual personal assistant module executing on a virtual personal assistant system. The virtual personal assistant module obtains first sensor data from a first sensor included in a plurality of sensors. The virtual personal assistant module analyzes the first sensor data to generate a first result. The virtual personal assistant module obtains second sensor data from a second sensor included in the plurality of sensors. The virtual personal assistant module analyzes the second sensor data and the first result to generate a second result. The virtual personal assistant module outputs a natural language audio output to the user based on the second result.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED DEVICE OPERATION SYSTEM
A vehicle-mounted device operation system, includes: an operating part that is located in a vehicle cabin, and configured to be subjected to operation for manually operating a vehicle-mounted device; a sound collector that is located in the vehicle cabin, and configured to collect speech of an occupant; and a processor configured to determine whether a command to the vehicle-mounted device is included in a content of the speech of the occupant collected by the sound collector, activate the vehicle-mounted device according to the command, when the processor determines that the command to the vehicle-mounted device is included in the content of the speech of the occupant, and highlight the operating part for the vehicle-mounted device activated by the processor.
VOICE SHIFTING
The invention relates to a system for a vehicle comprising an audio detection unit, an operation device, which is separate from the audio detection unit, and a transmission module for transferring torque, wherein the audio detection unit and an operation device transmit control signals to the transmission module for initializing an operational mode, wherein a processing unit is embodied to differentiate between a control signal received by the transmission module from the operation device and a control signal received by the transmission module from the audio detection unit, and wherein when transmission module receives the respective control signals simultaneously the processing unit prioritizes the control signal from the operation device, such that the transmission module implements an operational mode accordingly.
