Vehicle illuminated airflow control device
A light system is provided herein. The light system includes a bumper assembly disposed on a vehicle. A light source is disposed on the bumper assembly. An airflow control device is disposed below the bumper assembly. A first luminescent structure is disposed on the airflow control device. The first luminescent structure is configured to luminesce in response to receiving excitation light.
INJECTION MOLDED ARTICLE
This injection molded article has a body part and a movable part. The body part has a first stopper part and a second stopper part, while the movable part has a movable body and a first rib and a second rib that are formed to protrude at both widthwise end parts of the movable body. A first groove and a second groove that extend in the depth direction perpendicular to the axial direction of a hinge part, are respectively formed between the movable body and the first rib and between the movable body and the second rib.
Bumper cover retainers for bumper assemblies
A vehicle, front end assembly, and a method for creating a front end assembly including an upper bumper cover portion including an upper wall, a lower wall, and an exterior wall facing forward in a vehicle-longitudinal direction that extends between the upper wall and the lower wall and a bumper cover retainer that extends along a width of a rear edge of the upper wall, the bumper cover retainer having a sidewall engaging the upper wall of the upper bumper cover portion as the upper wall deflects rearward in the vehicle-longitudinal direction in response to a front impact to the upper bumper cover portion to inhibit movement of the upper wall rearward in the vehicle-longitudinal direction.
Apparatus for outputting virtual engine sound
An apparatus for outputting a virtual engine sound includes: an output device that outputs the virtual engine sound; a bumper beam connected to a rear surface of the output device; and a bumper foam connected to the output device and the bumper beam while opening left and right side surfaces of the output device. The apparatus for outputting a virtual engine sound may improve a virtual engine sound output efficiency by utilizing a sound pressure radiated from a side surface of the virtual engine sound output device.
AIR GUIDE SEAL ARRANGEMENT
An air guide seal arrangement adapted to be located between a bumper fascia and a cooler of a vehicle. The air guide seal arrangement includes a first member and a second member. The first member has a first irregularly shaped edge portion, shaped to seal against an inner surface of the bumper fascia, and a second regularly shaped edge portion being located opposite to the first edge portion. The second member has a first regularly shaped edge portion and a second edge portion, being located opposite to the first edge portion, shaped to seal against a forwards-facing surface of the cooler. At least one of the first member and the second member is resilient. The first member and the second member form two separate members adapted to be held together solely by being pressed together in use.
BUMPER ASSEMBLY WITH VARIABLE STIFFNESS
A component, e.g., a bumper assembly, of a vehicle includes a fascia spaced from a bumper beam, a structure defining gaps between the structure and the bumper beam and between the structure and the fascia, and a computer programmed to supply electrical current to vary a stiffness of the structure in response to a vehicle speed beyond a threshold.
Support assembly of a bumper on a component of an automobile and lighting unit for an automobile
A lighting unit for a passenger motor vehicle is disclosed. The lighting unit includes a housing having a lens fastened to the housing and having a sealing element supported on the housing which has a receiver to support a bumper of the passenger motor vehicle. The sealing element is fastened to the housing by a support element fastened to the housing.
Quick-release fastener
A fastener for attaching a license plate to a vehicle includes a receiver having a shank portion and a head portion defining a recess, and an insert having a shank portion configured to be received within the recess defined by the head portion of the receiver and a head portion defining a recess for receiving a release mechanism within an interior of the shank portion and the head portion of the insert. The shank portion of the receiver is configured to secure the receiver to the vehicle. The shank portion of the insert is received within the recess defined by the head portion of the receiver with the license plate disposed between the head portion of the receiver and the head portion of the insert. A detent element of the release mechanism engages the head portion of the receiver to attach the license plate and the insert to the receiver and the vehicle. The release mechanism is depressed to release the detent element from the head portion of the receiver to remove the license plate and the insert from the receiver.
Undercover assemblies including undercover reinforcement member
A vehicle includes a front fascia having a lower bumper region extending outwardly in a vehicle longitudinal direction at a bottom of a front end assembly. An undercover assembly is located rearward of the front fascia and has an undercover body including a front edge located at the lower bumper region. The undercover assembly includes an undercover reinforcement member that is connected to a surface of the undercover body and extends along a length of the undercover body to increase a stiffness within at least a region of the undercover body.
VEHICLE BODY FRONT STRUCTURE
A vehicle body front structure has: an object detection device disposed in a vehicle front end section of a vehicle to detect an object ahead of the vehicle; and a pair of bracket members which are spaced apart from each other in a vehicle width direction and which support the object detection device. Each of the pair of bracket members includes: a forwardly extending portion that extends forward from a vehicle body member; and a downwardly extending portion that extends downward from the forwardly extending portion and supports the object detection device. The vehicle body front structure further has a bracket member locking member which couples the forwardly extending portions to each other in the vehicle width direction and to which an exterior member of the vehicle is attached.
