Vehicle frame structure
A vehicle includes a body having a first rail and an upper rail spaced from the first rail. The upper rail has a base portion and a top prong and a bottom prong each extending from the base portion. The vehicle includes a bumper connected to the first rail and to the top prong, and a subframe connected to the bottom prong.
Vehicle front structure
A vehicle front structure may include a side member, a bumper member arranged linearly at a vehicle frontmost end, a vehicle rear side of the bumper member being joined to the side member, and a front side member extension attached to a tip end part of the side member. A portion projecting outward and obliquely extending toward the vehicle rear from a curving point on the outer side is provided on both ends of the bumper member, a protrusion extending toward the side member is arranged on the inner side of the projecting portion, a planar portion opposite to a side face part on the vehicle outer side of the side member is provided on a tip end part on the vehicle inner side of the protrusion, and the planar portion and the side member extension are arranged so as to overlap each other in the vehicle longitudinal direction.
VEHICLE BODY FRONT STRUCTURE
A vehicle body front structure includes front side frames extending in a front-rear direction of a vehicle on both sides in a vehicle width direction, a cross-member joined to the front side frames, and a bumper beam joined to the front side frames, a triangular reinforcements including a bottom portion joined to the bumper beam and a tip portion protruding toward an inner rear side of the vehicle, and a fixing brackets fixing the reinforcement to the front side frames. The tip portion of each reinforcement has a D-shape including a rounded shape extending in an up-down direction of the vehicle, and an axial direction of each reinforcement fixed to the front side frame intersects an outer surface of the front side frame in the vehicle width direction on a side closer to the front of the vehicle than a joined portion between each front side frame and the cross-member.
Side member distal end structure
A side member distal end structure includes: a side member distal end part and a lid member disposed forward of a distal end of the side member distal end part. The side member distal end part includes: a closed section part whose sectional shape orthogonal to the vehicle front-rear direction has a closed section structure; and a flange part in which a first panel and a second panel are joined to each other, the flange part being disposed outer than the closed section part and extending along the vehicle front-rear direction. The lid member includes a side plate part partially joined to an outer surface which is a part of the closed section part and is disposed forward of the flange part. In the vehicle front-rear direction, a plate surface of the side plate part faces the flange part.
BUMPER APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
A bumper apparatus for vehicle is disposed between a vehicle body frame extending in a front-to-rear direction of a vehicle and a bumper beam extending in a vehicle width direction. The bumper apparatus includes an axial crush member formed in a hollow cylindrical shape and extending in the front-to-rear direction. The axial crush member has a closed cross-section formed by bonding flat band-like flanges provided on a pair of panels to one another. Each of the pair of flanges is formed in a wavelike pattern along the front-to-rear direction while the pair of flanges is bonded to one another. Each of the pair of flanges has a convex surface and a concave surface as bonded surfaces which are arranged alternately in the front-to-rear direction, and a inclined surface as a non-bonded surface which connects the convex surface to the convex surface and is inclined with respect to the front-to-rear direction.
Integrated side member with impact absorbing structure
An integrated side member having an impact absorbing structure may include a side member upper part connected to a front coupling end portion to be connected to a crash box, the side member upper part being formed in a U shape by connecting its left and right members to each other, side member lower parts fastened to the side member upper part, and a dash cross member coupled to a lower portion of the side member upper part and between both side member lower parts.
Releasable fastening assembly for fastening a bumper to a side panel and/or a fender of a motor vehicle
A fastening arrangement is provided in order to reduce damage to a bumper and a side panel and/or a fender of a motor vehicle connected by way of a supporting element in a low speed range. The supporting element has a first supporting strip that can be fastened to the side panel and/or the fender and a second supporting strip that can be fastened to the bumper. At least one holder is provided, which releasably connects the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip to each other.
MODULE FOR A CRASH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An interface module for a vehicle crash management system wherein the interface module includes a support structure and a covering layer, and the interface module is adapted for attaching a crash box to a bumper beam. A first section of the support structure is adapted for being placed in direct contact with the bumper beam. A second section of the support structure comprises a recess adapted for receiving one end of the crash box, and the second section is further adapted for being covered by the covering layer. The covering layer is adapted for being arranged on the second surface, such that the support structure is completely enclosed between the bumper beam and the covering layer. Also disclosed are a crash management system and a method for assembling such a system.
SKELETON STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE FRONT PART
A reinforcement member has a load-receiving portion and an inclined portion. At least a part of the load-receiving portion is placed in front of a Fr side member. An end, at an inner side in the width direction, of the inclined portion matches in the width direction of the vehicle with a ridgeline at an inner side, in the width direction of the vehicle, of the Fr side member, or is provided at an outer side, in the width direction of the vehicle, in relation to the ridgeline.
VEHICLE FRONT STRUCTURE
A reinforcement component is disposed in an end portion of an Fr bumper R/F as viewed in a vehicle width direction, the end portion including an outer end of the Fr bumper R/F as viewed in the vehicle width direction. Additionally, an extension projects from an outer end of a front end of an Fr suspension member as viewed in the vehicle width direction further outward as viewed in the vehicle width direction.
