Each cassette of the plurality of cassettes includes at least one of a retractable mesh screen and a retractable shade configured to be moved between a fully open position that does not cover the associated overhead opening, and a fully closed position that covers the associated overhead opening.

A removable seat for a vehicle that includes a roll over protection system. The seat includes a seat bottom and a seat back assembly. The seat bottom adapted to be removably coupled to the vehicle. The seat back assembly is spaced apart from the seat bottom and adapted to be fixed by a bracket or removably coupled to first and second posts of the roll over protection system. The seat back assembly includes a seat back, a beam and saddles. The seat back is longitudinally oriented and parallel to a forward direction of vehicle travel. The beam includes a tube, a first bracket and a second bracket. The first bracket being fixed to a first end of the tube and the second bracket being fixed to a second end of the tube. The saddles fixing the tube to the seat back and includes a curved portion fixed to the tube.

The sport tube comprises a two-piece multi-gage tube extending along a longitudinal length of an occupant compartment of the motor vehicle. The side airbag curtain is fixedly coupled with the sport tube, the side airbag curtain having a stowed condition and an inflated condition. An integrated seal carrier is fixedly coupled with the sport tube and extends laterally outboard of the motor vehicle, the integrated seal carrier comprising a removable roof sealing member and a removable door window seal, wherein the removable roof sealing member and a removable door window seal are independent of one another.

CROSSMEMBER ARRANGEMENT

A crossmember arrangement for reinforcing a motor-vehicle body includes a crossmember for dissipating loads in the Y direction, an intermediate piece, which is connected directly or indirectly to the crossmember and is intended for fastening the crossmember to a supporting pillar, in particular a B pillar, and a fastening body, which is connected to the intermediate piece and is intended for butting with surface-area contact against the supporting pillar. The fastening body is configured in the form of a chamber profile which runs predominantly in the Y direction. Dissipation of high loads in a motor-vehicle body is made possible, along with straightforward installation capability of the crossmember arrangement in the motor-vehicle body, as a result of the fastening body of the crossmember arrangement, the fastening body is configured in the form of a chamber profile, running essentially in the Y direction.

Vehicle

A vehicle with a roll cage covering right and left seats; and a cargo bed located rearward of the right and left seats. The roll cage includes right and left rear extending portions extending downward and located further rearward than the right and left seats in a side view of the vehicle, and a plurality of cross portions extending in a right left direction. The cargo bed has an area located further forward than a plane defined by the right and left rear extending portions. The plurality of cross portions include a first cross portion including portions connected to the right and left rear extending portions and including a middle portion positioned higher than the portions connected to the right and left rear extending portions. This structure enables a vehicle to have a sufficient capacity in the cargo bed and allow smooth loading and unloading of cargo.

MULTI CONFIGURABLE HALF TOP ASSEMBLY

A top for a Jeep type vehicle is provided having a rear cargo area and parallel spaced roll bars. The top includes parallel spaced apart C pillars, each C pillar including front and rear vertical columns, the rear columns having a perpendicularly connected seat belt pass-through. The C pillars also have bottom plates connecting the front and rear columns that extend beyond the rear column. A top plate connects the front and rear columns together. The C pillars include pivotally connected sealing plates for sealing a top end of a rear door, the sealing plates being connected to the roll bars. A vertical rear window extending between said C pillar rear columns is provided, the rear window having a cutout portion for allowance of passage of a seat belt therethrough. A fabric cover providing a top deck extends over said front and rear seating portion of said vehicle and also covers the C pillars. A tonneau cover is provided for covering the rear cargo area providing a flat surface enclosure over the cargo area.
