AIRBAG HANGER TABS AND RELATED ASSEMBLY METHODS
Tabs for coupling airbag cushions to hangers and/or vehicles, along with related assembly/manufacturing methods. In some embodiments, the tab may comprise a first section comprising a first plurality of openings and a slot configured to receive a portion of the hanger therethrough, the slot being positioned in between at least a first opening of the first plurality of openings and a second opening of the first plurality of openings. The tab may further comprise a second section comprising a second plurality of openings. In some embodiments the second section may comprise, at least in part, a narrower width than the first section.
SIDE AIRBAG DEVICE
A side airbag device includes an inflator; and a bag-shaped airbag inflatable and deployable in response to a gas upon activation of the inflator. The airbag includes a torso protection portion inflatable and deployable in a space beside a torso of the occupant, a support portion provided on a console box side of the torso protection portion and configured to be pushed onto a top surface of the console box in an inflated and deployed state, and a hip protection portion inflatable and deployable between a hip of the occupant and a lateral portion of the console box. The support portion and the hip protection portion are defined by a continuous chamber. The inflator is positioned from above to below the support portion in a side view of the vehicle. The airbag is mounted on a lateral portion of the vehicle seat via the inflator.
SIDE AIRBAG DEVICE
A side airbag device includes an inflator; and a bag-shaped airbag inflatable and deployable in response to a gas upon activation of the inflator. The airbag includes a torso protection portion inflatable and deployable in a space beside a torso of the occupant, a support portion provided on a console box side of the torso protection portion and configured to be pushed onto a top surface of the console box in an inflated and deployed state, and a hip protection portion inflatable and deployable between a hip of the occupant and a lateral portion of the console box. The support portion and the hip protection portion are defined by a continuous chamber. The inflator is positioned from above to below the support portion in a side view of the vehicle. The airbag is mounted on a lateral portion of the vehicle seat via the inflator.
Air bag module
An elongate airbag module (10) of a vehicle occupant restraint system includes a folded airbag (12) which is received in an envelope (14), wherein the envelope (14) includes a weakened zone through which the airbag (12) can deploy out of the envelope (14) upon activation of the airbag module (10), and wherein the envelope (14) comprises at least one elongate flexible fixing tab (16) having at least one opening (24b) by means of which the airbag module (10) can be fastened to a vehicle via a fastening clip (18) which in portions extends through the opening (24b). Portions of the fastening clip (18) are wrapped in the fixing tab (16).
AIRBAG DEVICE FOR SADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
To be able to compactly dispose an airbag device for a saddle-type vehicle provided with an airbag deployable upward. An airbag device for a saddle-type vehicle includes: an inflator; an airbag adapted to be expanded by gas discharged from the inflator; and a retainer accommodating the airbag. The airbag is deployed upward from an opening of the retainer. The retainer is disposed in front of a head pipe adapted to support a handle for steering. A wind screen is disposed above the retainer. The wind screen openably and closably covers the opening of the retainer.
AIRBAG DEVICE FOR SADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
To be able to compactly dispose an airbag device for a saddle-type vehicle provided with an airbag deployable upward. An airbag device for a saddle-type vehicle includes: an inflator; an airbag adapted to be expanded by gas discharged from the inflator; and a retainer accommodating the airbag. The airbag is deployed upward from an opening of the retainer. The retainer is disposed in front of a head pipe adapted to support a handle for steering. A wind screen is disposed above the retainer. The wind screen openably and closably covers the opening of the retainer.

An inflatable blanket for a vehicle includes a first blanket layer, a second blanket layer coupled to the first blanket layer, and an airbag disposed between the first blanket layer and the second blanket layer. The airbag has a deflated configuration and an inflated configuration to protect a vehicle occupant when the vehicle is subjected to an external force.

The invention relates to a gas generator (10), especially for a vehicle safety system, comprising a sleeve (60) positioned inside the gas generator (10) which sleeve has first flow orifices (68) and encloses an ignition chamber (52) including first propellant (50), wherein a combustion chamber (56) filled with a second propellant (54) is connected to the outside of the sleeve (60), the combustion chamber being surrounded by a diffusor (70) located inside the gas generator (10) and having second flow orifices (78), and comprising a baffle plate (12) which has third flow orifices (14) and surrounds the diffusor (70), wherein the sleeve (60), the diffusor (70) and the baffle plate (12) are adhesively bonded to each other.
