SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH DEPLOYABLE BELT MEMBER
A seat assembly includes a seat portion having a frame assembly, a carrier assembly and a displaceable platform operably coupled to the carrier assembly. The displaceable platform is operable between a use position and a deployed position. A retraction mechanism includes a first bracket operably coupled to the frame assembly, and a second bracket operably coupled to the displaceable platform. The first and second brackets are interconnected by an actuator that is operable between at-rest and actuated positions. The second bracket moves from a first position to a second position as the actuator moves from the at-rest position to the actuated position. At least one tether member is operably coupled to the first bracket and includes a body portion interlaced between the first and second brackets of the retraction mechanism.
SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH DEPLOYABLE BELT MEMBER
A seat assembly includes a seatback and a seat portion supported by a frame assembly. The seat portion includes a carrier assembly and a displaceable platform pivotally coupled thereto for pivoting movement between a use position and a deployed position. A retraction mechanism includes a first bracket operably coupled to the frame assembly, and a second bracket operably coupled to the displaceable platform. The first and second brackets are operably coupled to one another by an actuator, and the second bracket is operable between first and second positions relative to the first bracket. A belt assembly includes a tether member and a belt member. The tether member is coupled between the first and second brackets, and the belt member is operable between a deployed position outside of the seatback, and a stowed position within an interior of the seatback.
SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH DEPLOYABLE BELT MEMBER
A seat assembly includes a seatback having an interior portion with a seatback frame disposed therein. A retraction mechanism includes a first bracket operably coupled to the seatback frame. A second bracket is operably coupled to the first bracket by an actuator that is operable between at-rest and actuated positions. A tether member includes a body portion that is operably coupled between the first and second brackets of the retraction mechanism for movement therewith. The tether member moves from a deployed position to a retracted position when the actuator moves from the at-rest position to the actuated position. A belt member is operably coupled to the tether member. The belt member is operable between a deployed position, wherein the belt member is disposed in front of the back support portion of the seatback, and a stowed position, wherein the belt member is received in the interior portion of the seatback.
Wrap around seatbelt
A vehicle seat and safety assembly includes a seat cushion, a seatback, and a wraparound seatbelt system to restrain an occupant in rear, side and rollover crashes. The seat cushion is connected to a vehicle floor. The seatback is connected to the seat cushion. The wraparound belt has a first strap end, a second strap end, and a strap, net or supporting body extending between the first strap end and the second strap end to direct restraining forces from an occupant through the seat to the vehicle floor or structure. The strap, net, or supporting body extends at least partially through or is integrated with the seatback and may incorporate pretensioning, load-limiting and other features to increase and control occupant restraint in non-frontal crashes.
VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE
A vehicle body structure includes a floor assembly, a B-pillar assembly, a seatbelt tensioning mechanism, a seatbelt pre-tensioning device and a support bracket. The B-pillar assembly is attached to the floor assembly and extends upwardly from the floor assembly. The seatbelt tensioning mechanism is supported to the floor assembly adjacent to an intersection between the floor assembly and the B-pillar. The seatbelt pre-tensioning device is positioned adjacent to the seatbelt tensioning device. The support bracket is fixed to the B-pillar and the seatbelt pre-tensioning device.
Vehicle seatbelt device, tension control method, and storage medium
A vehicle seatbelt device according to an embodiment includes a seatbelt that restrains a part of the body of an occupant in a host vehicle, a tension adjustment mechanism that is able to adjust a tension of the seatbelt, a recognizer that recognizes situation in the vicinity of the host vehicle, an index value deriver that derives an index value indicating an overlapping degree between a predicted traveling trajectory of another vehicle which is recognized by the recognizer and approaches the host vehicle and a predicted traveling trajectory of the host vehicle, and a tension controller that controls an operation timing of the tension adjustment mechanism on the basis of the index value derived by the index value deriver and a degree of approach of the another vehicle with respect to the host vehicle.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT FOR ATTACHING TO A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
The invention relates to a child safety seat for attaching to a motor vehicle seat, comprising a seat region, a back portion, an impact shield, the impact shield comprising an integrated airbag and/or an airbag being provided in the seat region, an acceleration-sensing device for sensing an acceleration of the child safety seat, and a control device, which is configured in such a way that the airbag is deployed on the basis of an acceleration sensed by the acceleration-sensing device.
Vehicle seatbelt device
A vehicle seatbelt device that includes: a lap belt that restrains a waist portion of an occupant seated in a vehicle seat; a connection member that connects an end portion of the lap belt with an anchor provided at either a side of the vehicle seat or a location on a vehicle body; a retractor that is provided at a front side of a vehicle relative to the anchor, and that is actuated in a vehicle collision or in a case in which a vehicle collision has been predicted; and a load transmission member that is coupled with the connection member so as to be movable relative to the connection member, and that is retracted by the retractor in a case in which the retractor is actuated.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat is provided with a wire that, in the event of a vehicle frontal collision, enables a pulling load applied by a vehicle occupant to a webbing to be transmitted between a cushion frame of a seat cushion and a movable rail of a sliding device. One end portion of the wire is anchored to a first anchoring member of the movable rail, while another end portion of the wire is anchored to a second anchoring member of the cushion frame.
Modular vehicle seating insert, modular seating system and modular seating method
A modular vehicle seating system includes a vehicle body (70, 72) with vehicle interior connection features (60, 62, 64) and a modular vehicle seating insert. The seating insert comprises a shell structure (10. 10, 10) to be received within the vehicle body. The shell structure has a vehicle body facing surface and a vehicle interior facing surface, wherein the vehicle interior facing surface defines seat module receiving portions (12, 14). Vehicle connection features (80, 82, 84) are operatively provided at a side of the vehicle body facing surface of the shell structure for cooperation with the vehicle interior connection features to fix the shell structure to the vehicle body.
