Belt deflector
The invention relates to a belt deflector with a main element (100) that can be attached to the structure of a vehicle, and with a belt support element (200) that is movable relative to the main element (100) and forms a support surface (231) or support edge for a safety belt (20) to be deflected. According to the invention, the belt deflector comprises an intermediate element (300, 400) that is deformed when the movable belt support element (200) is moved relative to the main element (100), in the direction of the intermediate element (300, 400), and because of this deformation is pressed against the safety belt (20).
BELT PASS-THROUGH HARDWARE
At a bracket, a projecting portion projects out from a bracket main body and structures a peripheral surface of a through-hole, and is disposed at an entire periphery of the through-hole. Therefore, the structure of the bracket can be made to be simple. Moreover, a width dimension of the through-hole is less than or equal to a through-hole radial direction dimension of the projecting portion. Therefore, overlapping of the webbing on itself at the through-hole can be suppressed.
Seat structure for vehicle
A seat structure for a vehicle comprises a seat, a seat rail comprising a lower rail and an upper rail, and an anchor bracket fixing an anchor (a first anchor) of a seatbelt device to the upper rail. The anchor bracket includes a first bracket provided with a first bottom portion fixed to the upper rail and a first side portion rising upwardly from the first bottom portion and a second bracket provided with a second bottom portion fixed to the upper rail, a second side portion rising upwardly from the second bottom portion, and an anchor attachment portion where the anchor is attached. The first side portion and the second side portion are joined together, overlapping each other in a vehicle width direction, and the first bracket extends forwardly beyond the second bracket.
Apparatus for adjusting height of seat belt
An apparatus of adjusting the height of a seat belt, which enables the height of a three-point-type seat belt to be adjusted according to the body shape of a child passenger, securing the safety of a child passenger as well as an adult passenger, includes a sliding rail vertically provided on a side of a seatback; and a slider including a belt ring to hang a shoulder belt, wherein the slider is engaged to the sliding rail and configured to vertically slide along the sliding rail, the belt ring being positioned on a top portion of the seatback in a state in which the slider is positioned on an upper end portion of the sliding rail.
Webbing height adjustment device
A webbing height adjustment device is applied to connect to a webbing of a seat belt system. The webbing height adjustment device has a top ring member, a locking assembly, and a positioning member. The locking assembly is moveably disposed outside the top ring member. The positioning member is disposed on the side surface of the top ring member, is clutched with the locking assembly, and has a positioning element and a combining portion. The positioning element is disposed on the top ring member. The combining portion is disposed on the positioning element and selectively holds the locking assembly for positioning. The webbing height adjustment device is easy to operate and automatically locks the webbing. The webbing height adjustment device can be adjusted continuously and occupies little space when not in use.
Webbing height adjustment device
A webbing height adjustment device is applied to connect to a webbing of a seat belt system. The webbing height adjustment device has a top ring member, a locking assembly, and a positioning member. The locking assembly is moveably disposed outside the top ring member. The positioning member is disposed on the side surface of the top ring member, is clutched with the locking assembly, and has a positioning element and at least one combining portion. The positioning element is disposed on the top ring member. The at least one combining portion is disposed on the positioning element and selectively and magnetically attracts the locking assembly for positioning. The webbing height adjustment device is easy to operate and automatically locks the webbing. The webbing height adjustment device can be adjusted continuously and occupies little space when not in use.
Height adjusters with anti-cinch features for occupant restraint systems
Shock absorbing seat belt height adjusters for use with vehicle occupant restraint systems, and associated systems and methods. In one embodiment, a shock absorbing height adjuster can be attached to a vehicle frame between an upper anchor point and a lower anchor point adjacent to an occupant's shoulder. The height adjuster can include a web clamp that locates a D-ring for positioning a shoulder web portion of the restraint web at a desired height that is comfortable for the occupant. Additionally, the height adjuster can include an anti-cinch feature that can elastically extend in response to tension loads in the shoulder web portion, thereby reducing shock loads from being transmitted to the seat occupant from the shoulder web portion.
Pre-tensioner for seat belt
Provided is a pre-tensioner for a seat belt, the pre-tensioner including a housing, a carrier disposed on a first surface of the housing, a fixing member connected to the carrier, a first pulley disposed in a first zone of the first surface of the housing, a second pulley disposed in a second zone of the first surface opposite to the first zone with respect to the carrier, a driving unit having at least a portion coupled to the second pulley, and a belt disposed to mesh with the first pulley, the second pulley, and the carrier.
Safety belt positioning and presentation systems
A system includes a first anchor that is disposed adjacent an upper portion of a seat back and that is selectively positionable between a first position on a first axis and a second position along the first axis. The system further includes a second anchor disposed adjacent a lower portion of the seat back. The second anchor is selectively coupled to the first anchor. The system further includes a third anchor disposed adjacent the lower portion of the seat back, the third anchor being selectively coupled to the second anchor and separated by a distance on a second axis from the second anchor. The first anchor, the second anchor, and the third anchor are jointly positionable when the second anchor is coupled to the first anchor and when the third anchor is coupled to the second anchor.
Jacket/Vest Passenger Restraint Systems and Methods
A passenger restraint system of a vehicle includes a passenger restraint article with an interface, and a locking device that secures the interface. In some embodiments, the vehicle includes a vertical channel that enables the locking device to travel up and down. The locking device may include a camera that enables the locking device to align with the interface, and once aligned, the locking device secures the interface. In additional or alternative embodiments, the locking device includes two C-bars and a biasing element that urges the locking device into an open position. When the passenger sits or leans against the opened C-bars, the force caused by the interface on the C-bars overcomes the force applied by the biasing element, urging the C-bars into a closed position. The locking device is then secured by engaging a locking bar that pushes against a surface of the C-bars.
