Anchor positioning systems
A restraint positioning system includes a first rail that extends along a first axis, and a first bracket that is coupled to the first rail such that the first bracket is selectively positionable along the first rail, the first bracket configured for attachment of an anchor thereto. The restraint positioning system also includes a second rail that extends along a second axis, and a second bracket that is coupled to the second rail such that the second bracket is selectively positionable along the second rail, the second bracket configured for attachment of an anchor thereto.
Seat belt buckle presenter assembly
A seat belt buckle presenter assembly (10) has a guide track (40) and a buckle presenter assembly (20). The guide track (40) is anchored to a vehicle seat frame at a first end and a second end. The buckle presenter assembly (10) is secured to and mounted onto the guide track (40) and is movable along the guide track (40) from a stowed position at the first end to an extended position toward the second end. Preferably, the guide track (40) is inclined having the first end of the guide track (40) fixed lower than the second end.
VEHICLE SEATBELT BUCKLE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A seatbelt buckle assembly and method for a vehicle includes a buckle housing moveable between a fixed presentation state wherein the buckle housing is presented in a fixed position for receipt of an associated seatbelt tongue member and a loose flexible state wherein the buckle housing is at least pivotable for moving laterally within the vehicle. The seatbelt buckle assembly further includes a seat cushion defining a buckle aperture through which the buckle housing is received. The buckle housing is slidable in a first direction into the buckle aperture to move the buckle housing into the fixed presentation state and slidable in a second direction outward away from the buckle aperture to move the buckle housing into the loose flexible state. The second direction is opposite the first direction.
SEAT MOUNTED ADJUSTABLE SEAT BELT WEBBING GUIDE
A webbing guide for a vehicle seat includes a base defining a length between a first end and a second end and defining first and second spaced-apart post holes extending through the base between top and bottom surfaces thereof. The webbing guide further includes a guide body coupled with the base and defining a guide channel extending through the guide body in a direction generally normal to the length of the base and normal to the posts.
SEATBELT FASTENING SYSTEM FOR A MOVABLE SEAT
A seat for an aircraft includes at least one seat-portion structure; and an understructure. The understructure includes at least one guide element comprising a guide groove. The guide groove includes a first portion and a second portion, called the inclined portion. The seat further includes at least one seatbelt attachment and at least one attachment support. The seatbelt attachment is mounted rotatably with respect to the attachment support via an attachment shaft. The attachment support is mounted rotatably with respect to the seat-portion structure via a support shaft. The head of the attachment shaft is arranged inside the inclined portion of the guide groove when the seat is in an upright position.
Spring loaded web guide
A seatbelt web guide assembly is adapted to be fixed to a seat back and comprises a web guide in the shape of a loop and a track base adapted to be fixed to a seat back. The track base has a housing and a sliding element. The housing is adapted to be fixed to the seat back and defines a sliding axis. A sliding element is slideably disposed in a guide feature of the housing defining the sliding axis. The web guide is connected to the sliding element for movement therewith along the sliding axis. A spring is disposed between the housing and the sliding element, biasing the sliding element relative to the housing.
Pivoting spring loaded web guide
A seatbelt web guide assembly adapted to be fixed to a seat back comprises a web guide in the shape of a loop and a pivot adapted to be fixed to a seat back and defining a first pivot axis. A connector is disposed between and connects the web guide to the pivot at a position in which the web guide is spaced from the first pivot axis. The pivot has a first part and a second pivot part. The second pivot part is rotatable with respect to the first part about the pivot axis, and the connector is fixed to the second pivot part.
SEATBELT ANCHOR MECHANISM
A seat system includes a seat having a seatback and a seat bottom extending in a seat-forward direction from the seatback. A seatbelt retractor is mounted to the seatback and an anchor is carried by the seat bottom and movable seat-rearward and seat-forward between a retracted position and an extended position. A seatbelt webbing extends from the seatbelt retractor and is attached to the anchor. An actuator is operatively coupled to the anchor to move the anchor between the retracted position and the extended position. A lock is operable to selectively retain the anchor in the retracted position.
ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR A SAFETY BELT WITH AN EXTENDABLE BELT GUIDING ELEMENT
An adjusting device for a safety belt in a vehicle comprises at least one extendable belt guiding element which is provided for guiding a portion of the safety belt and at least one supporting element which is connected to the belt guiding element and which is able to be at least partially extended together with the belt guiding element. The belt guiding element is able to be extended from a resting position in a direction of extension in order to facilitate the grasping of the safety belt by a vehicle occupant when fastening the safety belt. The supporting element is flexible but in the extended state of the belt guiding element is sufficiently rigid at least in one portion transversely to the direction of extension such that the belt guiding element is held in an extended position via the now rigid portion of the supporting element.
