20200339062 · 2020-10-29 ·

A seat belt anchorage assembly adapted to be coupled to an interior structure (e.g., a seat) of a vehicle, including: a seat belt attachment point adapted to receive one of a seat belt retention assembly and a seat belt buckle assembly; a translation mechanism coupled to the seat belt attachment point and adapted to translate the seat belt attachment point one or more of forwards and downwards with respect to the interior structure (e.g., the seat) of the vehicle responsive to a seat back of the vehicle being reclined. Optionally, the translation mechanism includes a mechanical linkage coupled between the seat back and the seat belt attachment point. Alternatively, the translation mechanism includes an electronic actuator coupled between the seat back and the seat belt attachment point.

VEHICLE SEAT BELT SYSTEMS

A vehicle seat belt system includes a retractable seat belt buckle, one or more buckle sensors, and a control unit. The control unit is communicatively coupled to the one or more buckle sensors and one or more drive systems of a vehicle. The retractable seat belt buckle is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The one or more buckle sensors are positioned to sense a position of the retractable seat belt buckle and output a signal indicative of the position of the retractable seat belt buckle. The control unit receives the signal from the one or more buckle sensors, determines the position of the retractable seat belt buckle based on the signal from the one or more buckle sensors, and transmits a stop signal to the one or more vehicle drive systems to cause the one or more vehicle drive systems to prevent motion of the vehicle when the retractable seat belt buckle is positioned in the extended position.

Seatbelt assembly

An assembly includes a base and a seatbelt anchor. The seatbelt anchor has a first end defining a circular hole pivotally supported by the base and a second end fixed in position relative to the first end. The assembly includes a buckle fixed in position relative to the second end. The assembly includes a pyrotechnic actuator secured to the base. The assembly includes a connector extending from the pyrotechnic actuator to the seatbelt anchor.

Seatbelt guide assembly

An assembly includes a webbing. The assembly includes a first webbing guide receiving the webbing. The assembly includes a second webbing guide receiving the webbing and releasably secured to the first webbing guide. The assembly includes an actuator. The assembly includes a cable secured to the actuator and to the second webbing guide.

A vehicle occupant restraint device includes a three point seatbelt device that includes shoulder webbing running from one seat width direction end side of an upper section a seatback toward a buckle at another seat width direction end side of a lower section of the seatback, a shoulder webbing anchor that is provided on the one seat width direction end side of the upper section of the seatback, and through which the shoulder webbing is inserted, and a mover device that moves the shoulder webbing anchor toward a seat width direction outer side of the seatback when the seatback, which is configured so as to be capable of reclining from an upright state, has been reclined by at least a predetermined angle or greater with respect to a vertical direction.

RESTRAINING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
20200031308 · 2020-01-30 ·

A restraining system for restraining an occupant of a vehicle, the system including: an occupant supporting device for supporting the occupant, the occupant supporting device has a longitudinal direction along which an occupant is intended to be positioned; a blanket including at least one restraint belt each including a first end and a second end attachable to attachment members arranged on either side of the occupant supporting device such that each restraint belt extend in a transverse direction across the occupant supporting device, the attachment members are movable such that the position of each restraint belt is adjustable in the longitudinal direction, an activation control unit configured to receive a signal indicative of a vehicle collision, and in response to the received signal control a pre-tension device to increase the tension in the at least one restraint belt.

SEAT BELT DEVICE

In the present invention, a seatbelt device is provided with: a seat state determination unit that determines the state of a sea a movable support section that supports a seatbelt within a range of possible movement on a seat back; a movement mechanism that, with a motor moves the movable support section within the range of possible movement; and a motor control unit that controls the motor in accordance with the usage state of the seat determined by the seat state determination unit. Due to this configuration, the position of the seatbelt is made optimal for an occupant, and the comfort of the occupant is thus improved.

Seat belt and movement control method thereof

A seat belt to increase a force for restraining a passenger's lower body in a sitting state of a relaxation mode while satisfying existing laws in a normal sitting state and to a movement control method thereof includes an anchor unit provided on a lower portion of a first side surface of a seat and configured for allowing webbing of the seat belt to be locked thereto and an anchor moving apparatus configured to move the anchor unit forwards and backwards thereof, and to a movement control method thereof.

Seatbelt assembly

An assembly includes a base defining a track and a hole. The assembly includes a plate slidably engaged with the track. The assembly includes a pin supported by the plate and movable between a first position engaged with the hole and a second position disengaged with the hole. The assembly includes an actuator designed to move the pin from the first position to the second position. The assembly includes a webbing guide supported by the plate.
