A seatbelt retractor for a seat belt device in a vehicle. The retractor including a frame and a spool. The spool is configured to be fixed to one end of a webbing which is wound around the spool. A pretensioner device configured to rotate the spool in response to an excessive acceleration of the vehicle. The pretensioner device comprises a power transmission element carried in a pretensioner tube that is driven by a piston located in the pretensioner tube. The pretensioner device includes a gas generator for driving the piston into the power transmission element. The pretensioner device includes a seal system that includes a stopper tube located in a downstream end of the pretensioner tube to create a stop location for the piston to prevent operating gas from exiting the end of the pretensioner tube.

Belt retractor having a force limiter

The invention relates to a belt retractor comprising a frame (10), a belt reel (12) rotatably arranged within the frame (10), a blocking mechanism (18) by which the belt reel (12) can be blocked within the frame (10), and a load limiter which comprises a corrugated disk (36), characterized in that the corrugated disk (36) is disposed between the belt reel (12) and a cover (38) which is laterally attached to the belt reel (12).

Actuator for releasing a force limiter of a seatbelt retractor for a vehicle seatbelt, and seatbelt retractor having an actuator of this type

The invention relates to an actuator (70) for releasing a load limiter (14) of a belt retractor for a vehicle seat belt, comprising a case (72) which is adapted to be attached to a frame (10) of the belt retractor and includes a seat (82) in which a pyrotechnical actor (80) is arranged, characterized in that a retaining clip (90) for locking the actor (80) within the seat (82) is attached to the case (72). The invention further relates to a belt retractor comprising a frame (10), a belt reel (12) rotatably supported in the frame, a load limiter (14) which is detachably connected to the belt reel (12) and an actuator (70) of the afore-mentioned type, characterized in that the retaining clip (90) bears on the frame (10).

Webbing take-up device

In a webbing take-up device, when a rotating member is rotated in a take-up direction in a state in which first engagement teeth and second engagement teeth of a rotating member are digging or biting into a moving member, the moving member is pressed by the first engagement teeth and the second engagement teeth of the rotating member. The moving member thus expands into a first deformation-permitting portion and a second deformation-permitting portion in a cover plate, and expanded portions of the moving member oppose a first restriction portion configured by an axial center direction leading end face of a cylinder, and a second restriction portion of the cover plate.

Retractor pretensioner assembly

A seatbelt pretensioning retractor assembly for use in a vehicle is provided. The seatbelt pretensioning retractor assembly includes a housing adapted for being mounted to a frame and having an interior cavity, a pretensioner tube having an arcuate and curved shape, a sprocket rotatably mounted to the housing and fixedly coupled to a spindle, a rod disposed within the tube and a guide plate having a guide portion and a rod guide. The rod exits the tube along a perimeter of the sprocket, and toward an arcuate landing surface of the guide portion. In addition, the guide plate further includes a couple of tabs and ribs for avoiding rattling of the pretensioner tube in normal use of the retractor assembly.
