REMOTE RELEASE, REDUNDANT RESTRAINT LATCH
Embodiments of the present disclosure include systems and methods for securing a rider inside a ride vehicle of an amusement park ride. For example, the disclosed systems and methods include a restraint system (e.g., lap belt, harness, restraint bar (e.g., lap bar, shoulder bar), and the like) that includes a locking mechanism that is activated and deactivated remotely. The remote release locking mechanism includes redundant latches (e.g., a primary latch and at least one secondary, redundant latch) and encompasses a relatively small amount of components housed in a relatively small amount of space.
Apparatus and method for controlling alcohol interlock
An apparatus for controlling alcohol interlock includes a sensor that senses an environment of a driver's seat and a camera that obtains a face image of a passenger and an image of exhalation of the passenger. A controller activates a start lock mode of a vehicle and determines whether a condition for detecting components of the exhalation of the passenger is satisfied based on the environment of the driver's seat. The controller determines whether the exhalation of the passenger is exhalation of a driver based on the face image of the passenger and the image of the exhalation of the passenger, and determines whether to detect alcohol concentration in the exhalation of the passenger based on the determination result.
WIRELESS SEATBELT REMINDER DEVICE
A technology is provided that secures the straightness of an electromagnetic wave signal transmitted and received according to the fastening of a buckle. A wireless seatbelt reminder device includes a tunnel member that is disposed in parallel to a seat rail, and has a passage formed therein. A sub-transmission and reception unit transmits an electromagnetic wave signal in the longitudinal direction of the passage as a seatbelt is fastened to a buckle and a main transmission and reception unit receives the electromagnetic wave signal transmitted by the sub-transmission and reception unit inside the passage to transfer the electromagnetic wave signal to an integrated controller.
Extended Slide Vehicle Seat with Low Profile Adjustment Control
Disclosed is a vehicle that includes a vehicle seat with a backrest, a cushion, a sliding rail, and a seat mount coupled to the sliding rail. A recline control handle positioned on the side of the seat includes a rotation axis parallel to a lateral axis of the vehicle. A slide control handle positioned on the side of the seat includes a rotation axis parallel to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and a recess configured to receive at least a portion of the slide control handle in both a first orientation and a second orientation.
Seatbelt Monitoring System
A vehicle seatbelt monitoring system for monitoring seatbelts of a plurality of seats comprising: i) a buckle sensor for each seat configured to determine whether a seatbelt is buckled into a buckle attachment of each seat; ii) a seatbelt webbing payout sensor for each seat configured to determine an amount of seatbelt webbing that is unwound from a seatbelt retractor associated with each seat; and iii) a seatbelt monitor control module coupled to the buckle sensor and the seatbelt webbing payout sensor and configured to receive buckle state data from the buckle sensor for each seat and seatbelt payout data from the seatbelt webbing payout sensor for each seat. The seatbelt monitor control module is further configured to determine if a first seatbelt is unbuckled or not properly worn and, if so, to determine if a second seatbelt is buckled or properly worn when the first seatbelt is unbuckled or not properly worn.
SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING ALARM INDICATING NON-FASTENING STATE OF SEATBELT OF VEHICLE
A system for providing an alarm indicating a non-fastening state of a seatbelt of a vehicle is provided. The system includes a seatbelt part provided in a seat of the vehicle; a first controller connected in communication to the seatbelt part and configured to determine whether a buckle of the seatbelt part is fastened and a first sensor module connected to the first controller. The first sensor module includes a first transmitter configured to transmit a buckle fastening signal when the buckle is fastened. A second sensor module includes a first receiver that is configured to receive the buckle fastening signal from the first sensor module. A second controller is connected in communication to the second sensor module, and is configured to receive the buckle fastening signal and output an alarm indicating whether the seatbelt is fastened.
Equipment for Monitoring and Detecting the Presence of an Infant Inside a Motor Vehicle
An assembly to detect the presence of a child inside the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle includes an identification element configured to be applicable on a predetermined location; a receiving element configured to detect the presence of the identification element; a control unit communicating with the receiving element and programmed for processing the information coming from the receiving element so as to emit an alarm signal as soon as a condition including the missing detection of the identification element occurs, and at the same time, occurs when at least a predetermined condition is present of the vehicle in which the assembly is installed in use.
METHOD AND CONTROL DEVICE FOR OPERATING A DISPLAY DEVICE WHICH CAN BE WORN ON THE HEAD IN A MOTOR VEHICLE
Operation of a head-worn display device in a motor vehicle includes a control device checking a condition of whether there is a vehicle occupant in the motor vehicle other than a driver, when the motor vehicle is not operated in an autonomous driving mode. If the condition is satisfied then a display of all content by the head-worn display device is stopped by the control device if the display device is virtual reality glasses and the display of exclusively traffic-relevant content by the display device is enabled by the control device if the display device is augmented reality glasses.
SEAT BELT FASTENED/UNFASTENED STATE DETECTION SWITCH
A seat belt fastened/unfastened state detection switch includes: a printed substrate that includes a circuit for detecting a fastened/unfastened state of a seat belt; a rotor that is rotatably attached to the printed substrate, includes a contact portion, the contact portion coming into contact with a tongue of the seat belt, and rotates in a forward direction in accordance with pushing of the tongue into a buckle; a spring that makes the rotor, the rotor being in a rotated state in the forward direction, rotate in a reverse direction in accordance with pulling of the tongue from the buckle; and an electric brush that is attached to a surface of the rotor, the surface facing the printed substrate, and includes a leg portion whose contact/non-contact state with respect to a conductive part of the circuit changes depending on a rotation state of the rotor.
Passenger seat
The present invention is related to a new passenger seat which is developed for the commercial vehicles and rail systems that are used in the passenger transport. Said passenger seat comprises: a massage pad for increasing the ergonomics in the waist section of the passenger and applying massage; a compressor for inflating the massage pad by means of filling it with air; cooling pads for cooling the passenger; a heating pad for heating the upper portion of the seat and the backrest contacting the passenger; a presence sensor for determining whether there is a passenger on the passenger seat or not; a belt sensor for determining whether the passenger sitting on the passenger seat fastens the safety belt or not; a wireless charging unit which allows the passenger to charge his/her mobile device without using a connection cable; a manual control panel which allows the passenger to control the heating pad, cooling pad and the massage pad; a wireless connection module which allows the passenger to control the heating pad, cooling pad and the massage pad through his/her mobile device; an identification label for identifying the passenger seat to the application downloaded to the mobile device of the passenger; a control unit where the data collected from the presence sensor and belt sensor are transmitted.
