Portable communication device
A portable communication device that can suppress degradation in communication efficiency caused by a reduction in device size. The portable communication device includes a mechanical key that is made of an electrical conductor and is for mechanically locking or unlocking a door of a vehicle, and a transmission antenna for transmitting a wireless signal. A storing portion that stores the mechanical key is provided in a case in which the transmission antenna is provided. When the mechanical key is stored in the storing portion, the transmission antenna is electrically connected to the mechanical key. In the portable communication device, the storage state of the mechanical key in the storing portion is detected by a push switch, and impedance correction in a communication circuit is performed by an impedance matching circuit in accordance with the detection result.
BIOMETRIC-ELECTRONIC KEY SYSTEM
A biometric-electronic key system includes an electronic key that stores an electronic key ID and a communication peer that is capable of performing wireless communication with the electronic key ID. A non-accomplishment notification unit presents the user with a non-accomplishment notification of the biometric authentication when the biometric authentication cannot be accomplished. A key operation authentication unit executes authentication corresponding to an electronic key operation performed by the user in response to receipt of the non-accomplishment notification. An actuation permission unit permits actuation of the device even when the biometric authentication cannot be accomplished as long as the authentication performed by the key operation authentication unit has been accomplished.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO ENABLE A VEHICLE TO EXIT DOUBLE-LOCK MODE
A vehicle including a first detection unit, a second detection unit, and a processor is disclosed. The first detection unit may be configured to detect presence of an occupant inside the vehicle. The second detection unit may be configured to detect that the vehicle may be in a double-lock mode. The processor may be configured to obtain inputs from the first detection unit and the second detection unit. Responsive to obtaining the inputs, the processor may determine that a predetermined condition is met. The predetermined condition may be met when the occupant may be present inside the vehicle and the vehicle may be in the double-lock mode. The processor may be further configured to output a notification comprising instructions for the occupant to perform a predetermined action responsive to a determination that the predetermined condition is met to enable the vehicle to exit the double-lock mode.
Identity Authentication Method and Vehicle
An identity authentication method and a vehicle provide authentication of a user identity in a first authentication manner enabling permission to use a first function of the vehicle when the first authentication succeeds. The first authentication manner may include at least one of vehicle key authentication, password authentication, biological feature authentication, or connected device authentication. First driving data is collected and a second authentication is performed based on the first driving data. Permission to use the first function is disabled when the second authentication fails and is continued when the second authentication succeeds.
Transportation vehicle, method for a transportation vehicle and communication system for a transportation vehicle
A transportation vehicle having an actuator for automatically adjusting a windowpane and/or a sliding roof of the transportation vehicle; a UWB system having a UWB transceiver and a first and a second antenna, each of which sends and receives UWB pulses; and a control device connected to the UWB system and the actuator to carry out a method based on channel impulse response measurements for detecting objects in a collision region by using the first antenna and the second antenna, and to send a signal that is based on a result of the detection method to interrupt an automatic adjustment of a windowpane and/or a sliding roof of the transportation vehicle to the actuator. Also disclosed is a method and communication system for a transportation vehicle.
VEHICLE AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM
A vehicle authentication system may include a controller configured to detect a trigger event, activate at least one camera, transmit a unique identifier to a mobile device, receive an image from the at least one camera, and grant access to the vehicle in response to the image including the unique identifier.
MULTI-LEVEL ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A golf cart includes a user interface and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to operate the golf cart according to either a first state or a second state where one or more operational capabilities of the golf cart is limited relative to the first state. The processing circuitry is also configured to, responsive to a first request provided by a user via the user interface, transition the golf cart into a third state where the operation of the golf cart is disabled. The processing circuitry is also configured to, responsive to a second request provided by the user via the user interface and a verification of a credential of the user, transition the golf cart out of the third state and into a previously active state that is either the first state or the second state.
Vehicle control method and related apparatus
The present disclosure relates to vehicle control methods and apparatuses, applied to fields such as intelligent vehicles. In one example method, an authentication apparatus (for example, a road side apparatus, a vehicle management platform, or a special vehicle) is assigned control permission for a vehicle. When an unlocking requester has a requirement for opening a vehicle lock, the authentication apparatus may indicate to open the vehicle lock. Accordingly, the unlocking requester can open the vehicle lock in a timely manner when a vehicle owner is not near the vehicle or a passenger on the vehicle cannot control the vehicle.
Method of preparing for discharge of electric latch assembly
An embodiment method of preparing for discharge of an electric latch assembly includes determining whether the electric latch assembly is in an unlocked state, in response to a determination that the electric latch assembly is in the unlocked state, monitoring a voltage of a battery, comparing the voltage of the battery with a preset reference voltage at which a mechanical redundancy (MR) mode is to be activated, and activating the MR mode by driving an MR motor installed inside the electric latch assembly in response to the voltage of the battery being less than or equal to the reference voltage.
