VEHICLE HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD
A vehicle head-up display device may include a plurality of first image generation parts embedded in a vehicle body, and configured to provide flat and stereoscopic images in multiple directions, a first optical induction part configured to guide an image signal, provided by the first image generation parts, in one direction, and a first display part configured to implement the image signal, provided by the first optical induction part, as an image recognizable by a driver, thereby implementing augmented reality of a head-up display.
Safety confirmation support system and safety confirmation support method
A safety confirmation support system includes: a moving object detector which detects a moving object in each of detection regions set around the vehicle; display units each associated with a different one of the detection regions; a line-of-sight detector which detects a line of sight of the driver; and a display controller which controls the display units based on detection results from the moving object detector and the line-of-sight detector. When the moving object is detected in a specified detection region, the display controller (i) displays moving object information on a specified display unit associated with the specified detection region when the line of sight is away from the specified detection region, and (ii) stops display of the moving object information on the specified display unit when the line of sight is towards the specified detection region while the moving object information is displayed on the specified display unit.
VEHICULAR TRAILER HITCHING ASSIST SYSTEM
A vehicular trailer hitching assist system includes a rear backup camera disposed at a rear portion of a vehicle and a control disposed in the vehicle. A display device includes a video display screen operable to display video images for viewing by a driver of the vehicle. Responsive to the driver initiating a hitching maneuver event by engaging reverse gear of the vehicle, rear backup video images derived from image data captured by the rear backup camera are displayed at the video display screen. An overlay overlays the displayed rear backup video images and aids in guiding connection of a trailer hitch of the equipped vehicle to a trailer tongue of a trailer. Continued display of rear backup video images that are overlaid by the overlay is ceased upon elapse of a threshold period of time or upon exceeding a threshold speed or upon exceeding a threshold distance traveled.
MOBILE TERMINAL AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed is a mobile terminal that provides an augmented reality navigation screen in a state of being hold in a vehicle, the mobile terminal including: at least one camera configured to obtain a front image; a display; and at least one processor configured to calibrate the front image, and to drive an augmented reality navigation application so that the augmented reality navigation screen including at least one augmented reality (AR) graphic object and the calibrated front image is displayed on the display.
VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEM WITH USER INPUT DISPLAY
A display system for a vehicle includes an interior camera disposed in an interior cabin of a vehicle and having a field of view interior of the vehicle that encompasses an area at or near a user input for an accessory, with the user input being accessible by a driver of the vehicle when the driver is normally operating the vehicle. A display device is viewable by the driver when the driver is normally operating the vehicle. The display device is operable to display images derived from image data captured by said interior camera. The display device displays images depicting the driver's hand as the driver's hand approaches the user input for the accessory for actuating the user input to adjust or control the accessory.
Vehicle head-up display arrangement
A vehicle head-up display arrangement is provided that may include a projection unit, a vehicle driver eye position estimation unit and a detecting unit arranged to detect traffic signs and their location in relation to the vehicle, and a processing unit arranged to determine a content of the traffic signs. The processing unit is further arranged to determine relevance of content of the traffic signs. The projection unit is arranged to project light onto one or more areas of the windshield in line with the estimated eye position of the vehicle driver and traffic signs determined to have content not being relevant, such that these traffic signs, at least partially, are covered from the estimated eye position of the vehicle driver.
Information display device, information display method, and recording medium
An information display device includes a surrounding environment detector, a vehicle information acquirer, a predictor, an avoidance path provider, and an information display. The surrounding environment detector detects position relevant information related to a position of at least a surrounding object in a surrounding environment of a vehicle. The vehicle information acquirer detects vehicle information including a speed and a steering direction of the vehicle. The predictor predicts a contact of the vehicle with the surrounding object, based on the position relevant information and the vehicle information. When the predictor has predicted that there is a possibility of the contact of the vehicle with the surrounding object, the avoidance path provider assumes an avoidance path for avoiding the contact, based on the position relevant information and the vehicle information. The information display displays the avoidance path.
VEHICLE POSITIONING BY VISIBLE LIGHT COMMUNICATION
A vehicle optical wireless data communication system includes a plurality of light sources disposed at a structure where vehicles travel. Each of the light sources emits visible light to illuminate the building or structure. Each of the light sources emits optical signals indicative of a location of the respective light source. A sensor is disposed at a vehicle and is operable to sense optical signals emitted by the light sources when the vehicle is in the vicinity of the light sources. Responsive to sensing by the sensor of optical signals emitted by at least one of the light sources, the sensor generates an output to a processor disposed at the vehicle. The processor processes the output of the sensor to determine a location of the vehicle relative to at least one of the light sources.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE
A display control device includes a determination unit and a controller. The determination unit determines whether or not a subject viewed from a passenger falls within a display range of a virtual image based on the position information of the subject acquired from a recognition unit that recognizes the subject in the foreground of a moving object and the estimated value of a depression angle acquired from an estimation unit that estimates the depression angle when the virtual image is viewed from the passenger. In a case where the subject is determined to fall within the display range, the controller controls a display unit to generate an image that represents a first display image showing the information corresponding to the subject.
NAVIGATION DEVICE, VEHICLE, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE VEHICLE
Disclosed are provided a navigation device or a method for overlaying a travel route, in which the position of other vehicles located on the travel route is considered, on an image obtained from a front-view camera, wherein a navigation device includes: a display device configured to display an image acquired from a front-view camera of a vehicle, to overlay a travel route on the displayed image, and to display the overlaid resultant image; and a processor configured to determine a travel route starting from a position of the vehicle acting as an ego vehicle, when a peripheral vehicle is located at the determined travel route, to determine a travel route along which the ego vehicle dodges or follows the peripheral vehicle on the basis of the position of the peripheral vehicle, and to display the determined travel route on the display unit.
