Display device
A display device displays a virtual image of a first picture and a virtual image of a second picture by using a display medium. This display device includes a light source that emits light, a fixed screen, a movable screen, a driver, and a scanner. The fixed screen is fixedly disposed on an optical path between the light source and the display medium. The movable screen is also disposed on this optical path. The driver moves the movable screen along the optical path. The scanner scans the fixed screen and the movable screen with the light emitted from the light source, thereby forming the first picture on the fixed screen and the second picture on the movable screen.
VEHICULAR DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE
The vehicular display control device which controls an image that is projected on a windshield of a vehicle, includes: a detection section which detects an object near the vehicle; and a display control section which displays, when a first object is detected in front of the vehicle, a first image for attracting attention to the first object, at a predetermined position in a first region on the windshield, and displays, when a second object is detected on a lateral side relative to, or behind, the vehicle, a second image for attracting attention to the second object, at a predetermined position in the first region. When determining that a display position of the second image overlaps, in the first region, with a display position of the first image, the display control section moves the second image from the first region to a second region on the windshield.
Vehicle and control method for the same
Disclosed are a vehicle and a control method for the same. The vehicle includes a display unit configured to display information, a sensing unit configured to detect a moving object in the vicinity of the vehicle, and a controller configured to judge the motion characteristics of the moving object based on sensing information regarding the moving object provided from the sensing unit, the motion characteristics of the moving object including a speed and a movement direction of the moving object, to set a dangerous area for the moving object based on the motion characteristics of the moving object, the dangerous area having a size and a shape corresponding to the motion characteristics of the moving object, and to display an image indicating the dangerous area on the display unit.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY AND PROGRAM
An image synthesizer apparatus for vehicle includes an image generator and an error detector. From multiple cameras arranged to a vehicle so that an imaging region of each camera partially overlaps with an imaging region of an adjacent camera, the image generator acquires images of areas allocated to the respective cameras, and synthesizes the acquired images to generate a synthetic image around the vehicle viewed from a viewpoint above the vehicle. The error detector detects errors in the cameras. When the error detector detects a faulty camera in the cameras, the image generator acquires, from the image captured by the camera adjacent to the faulty camera, an overlap portion overlapping with the image captured by the faulty camera, uses the overlap portion to generate the synthetic image, and applies image reinforcement to the overlap portion.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, DISPLAY PROGRAM STORAGE MEDIUM, AND DISPLAY METHOD
A display control device includes: a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to: acquire information of a moving body in surroundings of a vehicle; and display a specific image on a display area provided to the vehicle according to a position of the moving body based on the acquired information of the moving body, the specific image being displayed either overlaid on or adjacent to the moving body; and in a case in which the moving body inside the display area has exited from the display area, continue to display the specific image until a specific period of time has elapsed.
VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEM
A vehicle display system includes: a camera provided on a vehicle body so as to capture a real-time image of surroundings of the vehicle body, wherein the camera is oriented toward a direction of interest; a monitor configured to display the real-time image captured by the camera, wherein the monitor is oriented toward an opposite direction to the direction of interest; and circuitry configured to: cause the monitor to display an additional image in a first stop period in which the vehicle body stops in accordance with a road condition, wherein a display of the additional image changes in accordance with a position of the vehicle body; and diminish, compared to the first stop period in which the vehicle body stops in accordance with the road condition, the display of the additional image in a second stop period in which the vehicle body stops for boarding or alighting of a passenger.
VEHICULAR DRIVING ASSIST SYSTEM WITH HEAD UP DISPLAY
A vehicular driving assist system includes a plurality of sensors disposed at a vehicle that sense exterior of an equipped vehicle. The system includes a head-up display disposed at the equipped vehicle configured to display one or more visual elements in a field of view of a driver while the driver views forward through a windshield. The system, responsive to processing at an ECU of sensor data captured by the sensors, detects another vehicle present exterior the equipped vehicle. The vehicular driving assist system displays a plurality of visual elements via the head-up display. The plurality of visual elements includes (i) a bounding box appearing to the driver to surround the detected other vehicle when the detected other vehicle is viewable by the driver through the windshield of the equipped vehicle, (ii) a current speed of the detected other vehicle and (iii) a predicted trajectory of the detected other vehicle.
Autonomous vehicle
Disclosed is an autonomous vehicle including a display unit and a controller which is configured to: obtain vehicle driving information, in a state in which (i) the vehicle moves within a first distance from a destination or (ii) the vehicle receives a stop request while the vehicle is travelling, search for at least one available stopping area based on the vehicle driving information, and display information about the at least one available stopping area on the display unit or transmit the information to a terminal.
VEHICLE, DRIVING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, AND DRIVING ASSISTANCE METHOD THEREOF
A vehicle, a driving assistance system and a driving assistance method thereof are provided. The driving assistance system includes: an alarm module arranged on a windshield wiper and configured to present prompt information; an acquisition module configured to acquire a first image including a target outside a vehicle viewed at a first position and a second image including the alarm module viewed at the first position, the first position being a position where eyes of a driver are located; and a control module configured to determine an overlapping region between a region of the second image occupied by the alarm module and a region of the first image occupied by the target, and control the alarm module to present the prompt information about the overlapping region.
CONCEALMENT SYSTEM FOR IMPROVED SAFE DRIVING
The disclosure includes embodiments for concealing a distracting object. A method according to some embodiments includes analyzing environment data to identify a distracting object that is viewable by a driver, wherein the environment data is generated by a sensor set of a first vehicle and the environment data describes an environment including the first vehicle. The method includes determining a risk value of concealing the distracting object from the driver. The method includes responsive to the risk value failing to meet a threshold value, overlaying a concealing graphic on the distracting object while the first vehicle is being operated.
