To provide a composite film which comprises a heat-generating conductive structure and is suitable for a laminated glass that can achieve both of the heating of the whole area of the laminated glass and the efficient heating of a region surrounding an electronic member (e.g., a camera, a sensor, an antenna) while keeping the good sensitivity of the electronic member.

A composite film comprising: a resin film; and a heat-generating conductive structure arranged on the resin film and comprising at least a plurality of main conductive fine wires, wherein the composite film has at least one electronic member attachment region not comprising the plurality of main conductive fine wires.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING HEAT TRANSFER TO A TRANSPARENT SHEET

A transparent sheet is provided, and includes a heatable element arranged to transfer heat energy to the transparent sheet, a strain gage transducer disposed on the transparent sheet, and a temperature sensor disposed on the transparent sheet. A controller is in communication with the strain gage transducer and the temperature sensor, and is operably connected to the heatable element. The controller is operative to control the heatable element based upon signal inputs from the strain gage and the temperature sensor.

Vehicle liftgate window assembly with heater grid

A rear liftgate window assembly for a vehicle includes a glass window panel configured to be pivotally mounted at a rear portion of a vehicle so as to be pivotable between a closed position and an opened position. A heater grid includes a plurality of electrically conductive traces established at the inner surface of the glass window panel. A pair of busbars are established at the inner surface of the glass window panel and extend outboard of at least one side region of the inner surface of the window panel that contacts a seal at the vehicle when the glass window panel is in the closed position. Electrical connectors are electrically connected to the busbars outboard of the side region. The electrical connectors are configured to electrically connect to a power source of the vehicle when the rear liftgate window assembly is mounted at the vehicle.

Enclosure assembly for window electrical connections

Systems and methods for environmentally sealing electrical connections of window assemblies are disclosed. A mechanically protective enclosure assembly is adhered to a transparent pane including glass. The enclosure assembly includes a first member, a second member, and an opening. The first member includes a transparent-pane engaging surface, a first interface surface, and a plurality of first walls extending therebetween. The second member is attached to the first member. The second member includes a top member, a second interface surface, and a plurality of second walls extending therebetween. The first interface surface engages the second interface surface to provide a first fluid-tight seal. The opening is defined by at least one of the plurality of first walls and at least one of the plurality of second walls. The opening engages the wiring harness to provide a second fluid-tight seal therebetween.
