Motor Vehicle Wiper and Motor Vehicle Equipped Therewith
A motor vehicle wiper has a wiper arm with a wiper blade and is in operative connection with a wiper shaft. The wiper arm is fastened on a bearing part that is movably supported on the wiper shaft.
ELECTROMAGNETIC WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM
An electromagnetic wiper system for a windshield of a vehicle includes a linear actuator, a wiper-arrangement, and control circuitry. The linear actuator includes at least one guide rail having permanent magnets and an electromagnetic moving block. The electromagnetic moving block includes at least one perforation that surrounds the at least one guide rail and at least one electromagnetic coil that surrounds the at least one perforation. The wiper-arrangement includes a wiper arm and a wiper blade, wherein at least the wiper arm is coupled to the electromagnetic moving block. The control circuitry controls a linear motion of the electromagnetic moving block along the at least one guide rail to steer the wiper arm that is coupled to the electromagnetic moving block back and forth across a length of the windshield to the windshield, wherein the electromagnetic moving block induces minimal friction during the linear motion.
WINDSCREEN WIPER AND VEHICLE WITH WINDSCREEN WIPER
The present disclosure provides a windscreen wiper for a vehicle, the windscreen wiper having a wiper arm, a wiper blade, and a cover attached to the wiper arm. The windscreen wiper comprises at least one nozzle for windscreen washing fluid that forms part of the cover or is fastened to the cover. The-present disclosure also provides a vehicle comprising the windscreen wiper, a method of fastening the windscreen wiper to the vehicle, and a method of cleaning a windscreen of a vehicle.
Apparatus for controlling or otherwise manipulating vehicle components, and methods of use and manufacture thereof
A control system can include an actuator actuable into an on state to instruct a wiper motor to move a wiper over a vehicle exterior surface, and a source of vehicle movement data that indicates whether the vehicle is moving. A processor based controller can instruct the wiper motor to move the wiper to either a Park 1 position that provides enhanced aerodynamic effects or a different Park 2 position that provides enhanced accessibility to the wiper if the actuator is not actuated into the on state. The controller being specifically configured to instruct the wiper motor to move the wiper to the Park 1 position if the source of vehicle information indicates that the vehicle is moving, and to instruct the wiper motor to move the wiper to the Park 2 position if the source of vehicle information does not indicate that the vehicle is moving.
Motor Vehicle Headlamp
Motor vehicle headlight (1), comprising a lens ( ) a screen (3), a windscreen wiper (4) with a wiper blade (4a), which is arranged between the screen (3) and the lens (4a), a drive device (5), which is designed to move the wiper blade (4a) back and forth between a starting position and an end position, wherein an area (2b) of the lens (2) to be cleaned can be cleaned by moving the wiper blade (4a) from the starting position to the end position or from the end position to the starting position and by the contact of the wiper blade (4a) with the outside of the lens (2), wherein the wiper blade (4a) is located completely below an upper edge (3a) of the screen (3) in the starting position, and extends partially or completely over the upper edge (3a) of the screen (3) in the end position.
COWL LOUVER ASSEMBLY WITH MODULAR ICE SCRAPERS
A vehicular cowl louver assembly, a vehicular windshield assembly and a vehicle. A cowl louver that makes up a portion of the vehicular cowl louver assembly has one or more recesses formed in an upper-facing surface with which to provide storage of an ice scraper. A resiliently-biased clip allows the ice scraper to be selectively removable from the cowl louver to enable a person to scrape ice, snow or other debris from a vehicular windshield. The ice scraper may be returned to the recess after use, where the clip keeps the two secured to one another, even during vehicular movement. In one form, the surface of the ice scraper may be made to form a substantially flush, continuous fit with the portion of the surface of the cowl louver that is adjacent the recess to improve aerodynamic and aesthetic features of the cowl louver assembly.
Wiper device
A wiper device includes: a wiper motor including an output shaft configured to be forward-and-reverse rotated and causing to-and-fro operation of a wiper blade, the wiper blade being connected to the wiper motor via a wiper arm; an acquisition section that acquires positioning data or ambient temperature data; and a controller that controls the wiper motor such that the output shaft forward-and-reverse rotates within a first rotation angle to stop or return the wiper blade at or to a first lower position where the wiper blade is hidden by a rear end of an engine hood of the vehicle, and such that the output shaft forward-and-reverse rotates within a second rotation angle to stop or return the wiper blade at or to a second lower position above the first lower position where the wiper blade is not hidden by the rear end of the engine hood in a cold environment.
WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM WITH ACTIVELY MOVABLE PLATFORM
This disclosure relates to techniques for implementing a windshield wiper system with an actively movable platform. The windshield wiper system can include a windshield wiper arm mechanically coupled to a platform and an actuator mechanically coupled to the platform. The windshield wiper arm can be configured to move through a planar range of motion that is substantially parallel to a surface of a vehicle when the platform is positioned at a first spatial location and the movable windshield wiper arm can be configured constrained from moving through the planar range when the platform is positioned at a second spatial location.
Vehicle front section structure
A vehicle front section structure includes a hood; a front windshield glass; a cowl louver; a front pillar; a front side door; a wiper arm including an arm base portion; and a flow regulating member that is provided at the cowl louver, that is disposed in a wiper storage section at a vehicle width direction outer side and at a vehicle front side of the arm base portion in a state wherein arm base portion is stored in wiper storage section, and includes a vertical wall extending in a vehicle front-rear direction and an inclined wall disposed at the vehicle front side of arm base portion, in the state wherein the arm base portion is stored in wiper storage section, and extending out from a rear end portion of the vertical wall toward the vehicle width direction outer side and toward the vehicle front side along the arm base portion.
