SENSOR CLEANING DEVICE
A sensor cleaning device includes a sensor cover configured to cover an outer surface of a sensor lens. The sensor cleaning device also includes a moving unit configured to support the sensor cover and move the sensor cover between a first position and a second position. The sensor lens is covered by the sensor cover positioned at the first position and uncovered by the sensor cover positioned at the second position. The sensor cleaning device also includes a cleaning unit configured to clean an outer surface of the sensor cover upon the sensor cover being moved to the second position.
Active surround view system with self-cleaning mechanism
A surround view system for a vehicle includes a plurality of brackets adjacent interior surfaces of windows of the vehicle. A plurality of camera assemblies are provided within the brackets. Each camera assembly includes a lens having a field of view extending through one of the windows for capturing images of a vehicle exterior. The images captured by the lenses through the windows are integrated together to form a 360 view of the vehicle exterior.
VEHICULAR CAMERA MODULE
A vehicular camera module includes a camera having an image sensor and a lens. The image sensor is disposed at a first printed circuit board, and a second printed circuit board is in board-to-board electrical connection with the first printed circuit board. Board-to-board electrical connection between the first and second printed circuit boards is via a multi-wire ribbon connection. A housing houses the first and second printed circuit boards. The housing is configured for mounting at a windshield of a vehicle and, with the vehicular camera module mounted at the windshield of the vehicle, the camera has a field of view external of the vehicle. With the vehicular camera module mounted at the windshield of the vehicle and responsive at least in part to processing by an image processor of image data captured by the image sensor, an object in the field of view of the camera is detected.
SENSOR CLEANING APPARATUS FOR A VEHICLE
A sensor cleaning apparatus for a vehicle includes: a sensor housing in which a driver and a sensor are mounted, a cover part configured to rotate and exposed to the outside of the sensor housing through an open region formed on a front surface of the sensor housing, and a blade part connected to the cover part. The blade is rotated as the driver is driven and provided to allow air generated by its rotation to flow toward a front surface and a rear surface of the cover.
AIR KNIFE FOR SENSOR CLEARING
This technology relates to a system for clearing sensors. The system may include an air knife, a sensor cover, and a sensor motor. The sensor cover may be configured to house one or more sensors. The sensor motor may be used to rotate the sensor cover. The air knife may be configured to clear the sensor cover of debris by providing a pressurized stream of fluid against the sensor cover as the sensor motor rotates the sensor cover.
Self-cleaning spinning cover
The technology relates to a system for clearing sensors. The system may comprise a sensor. The sensor may comprise a sensor cover and a cover window arranged on the sensor cover. The system may further comprise a sensor motor for rotating the sensor cover and the cover window around an axis of rotation. The sensor cover and cover window may be rotated to clear the cover window of debris. The cover window may have a linear cross section in a plane that passes through and is perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The sensor motor may be configured to rotate the sensor cover and the cover window.
Rear view camera for vehicle and control method therefor
According to at least one aspect, the present disclosure provides a method comprising: determining whether a vehicle is traveling in reverse or is in a rear photographing mode; in response to determining that the vehicle is traveling in reverse or is in the rear photographing mode, opening an opening and closing unit included in an inner housing; as the opening and closing unit opens, drawing a camera and a fluid injection unit out of the vehicle; photographing, by the camera, a peripheral region of the vehicle; spraying, by the fluid injection unit, each of a washer fluid and air toward a lens surface of the camera; when the vehicle has ended traveling in reverse or the rear photographing mode, closing the opening and closing unit; and as the opening and closing unit closes, drawing the camera and the fluid injection unit into the vehicle.
Motor Vehicle Headlamp
Motor vehicle headlight (1), comprising a lens ( ) a screen (3), a windscreen wiper (4) with a wiper blade (4a), which is arranged between the screen (3) and the lens (4a), a drive device (5), which is designed to move the wiper blade (4a) back and forth between a starting position and an end position, wherein an area (2b) of the lens (2) to be cleaned can be cleaned by moving the wiper blade (4a) from the starting position to the end position or from the end position to the starting position and by the contact of the wiper blade (4a) with the outside of the lens (2), wherein the wiper blade (4a) is located completely below an upper edge (3a) of the screen (3) in the starting position, and extends partially or completely over the upper edge (3a) of the screen (3) in the end position.
Method for assembling camera for vehicle vision system
A method for assembling a camera for a vehicle includes providing a camera housing portion, disposing an imaging sensor at a base portion of the camera housing portion, and disposing a lens system at a first portion of the camera housing portion. A first circuit board is provided that includes circuitry associated with the imaging sensor, which is disposed at a second circuit board that is in board-to-board electrical connection with the first circuit board. The camera housing portion and a connector portion are joined together to encase the first and second circuit boards. The connector portion includes a multi-pin connector having terminals that include (i) a first terminal portion for electrically connecting with a connector of the vehicle and (ii) a second terminal portion that electrically connects with circuitry disposed at the first circuit board when the camera housing portion and the connector portion are joined together.
Camera Field of View Cleaning System
A camera cleaning system for cleaning a field of view of a camera includes a cover having a three-dimensional surface positioned at least partially around a longitudinal axis and extending through an opening in a housing. The cover defines a chamber in which a camera may be mounted. The cover is configured to rotate around the longitudinal axis while a wiper positioned along the opening of the housing engages the three-dimensional surface of the cover, thereby cleaning a field of view of a camera when a camera is mounted therein.
