The present invention relates to a windscreen wiper strip support and a windscreen wiper blade having the windscreen wiper strip support. The windscreen wiper strip support includes a longitudinal slot for housing a windscreen wiper strip. The windscreen wiper strip support has a back plate, a plurality of first lugs and a plurality of second lugs. The longitudinal slot is formed by the space encircled by the back plate, the plurality of first lugs and the plurality of second lugs. The back plate, the plurality of first lugs and the plurality of second lugs are all made of a metallic material to ensure that the entire windscreen wiper strip support has better strength and the production cost is reduced.
Windshield wiper system
A windshield wiper system (3) for vehicles. A windshield (1) has a curved surface. The system (3) comprises two wiper arms (14) and one wiper blade (5), one of said two wiper arms (14) being mounted to said oscillating gear drive (2), said wiper blade (5) being mounted by means of said two wiper arms (14) distal to said oscillating gear drive (2) for oscillation across the windshield (1). Said two wiper arms (14) have each along said curved surface of the windshield (1) a respectively pivotal wiper arm axis (8). At least one cranked fitting (16) and a prolongation fitting (7) are provided, said wiper blade (5) being mounted rotatable about a wiper blade rotation axis (9) by means of said wiper blade holder (21) and said wiper blade fit bolt (22) to said prolongation fitting (7). Said prolongation fitting (7) is mounted rotatable about prolongation fitting rotation axes (18). Said prolongation fitting rotation axes (18) is inclined to said respective wiper arm axis of each of the two wiper arms (14) by an angle 45<<135.
VEHICLE SPOILER ASSEMBLY
A vehicle spoiler assembly includes a vehicle body structure having a rear window, a rear wiper assembly and a spoiler. The rear wiper apparatus has a motor and a wiper blade arm installed to the vehicle body structure above the rear window. The motor is operable to move the wiper blade arm between a stowed orientation and rear window wiping position such that during movement between the stowed orientation and the rear window wiping position the wiper blade arm moves over and wipes a majority of an outer surface of the rear window. The spoiler attached to the vehicle body structure covers the motor of the rear wiper apparatus and the wiper blade arm with the wiper blade arm in the stowed orientation, at least a portion of the spoiler is configured to access the motor of the rear wiper apparatus.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO DETECT DROPLET PRESENCE ON VEHICLE WINDSHIELD
A vehicle having a windshield and a camera is disclosed. The camera may be configured to capture a first image of a vehicle surrounding area through the windshield. The vehicle may further include an image processing module configured to determine a plurality of gradients associated with a plurality of pixels in the first image and an unfocused object present in the first image based on the plurality of gradients. The image processing module may be further configured to generate a binary image using the first image responsive to determining the unfocused object. The vehicle may further include a processor configured to determine a droplet presence on the windshield based on the binary image and perform a predefined action responsive to determining droplet presence on the windshield.

Wiper control method and wiper control device
A wiper control method and a wiper control device are provided. An arm falling position for stopping wiper arms for a predetermined time is set above a lower reversal position. When the wiper arms stopped on the side of an upper reversal position with respect to the arm falling position, such as a service position, are moved to a storage position set below the lower reversal position, or when a wiping operation is to be performed again, the wiper arms are temporarily stopped for the predetermined time at the arm falling position. Then, after the predetermined time elapses, the wiper arms are moved to the storage position in the case of a storage operation, and moved to the upper reversal position in the case of restarting, and then the normal wiping operation is performed.
