LOW PROFILE LIFTER FOR WINDSHIELD BLADE
A lifter for windshield wiper blade includes a body having first and second opposite end portions. The body is horizontally elongate with a vertically low profile. The first and second end opposite portions are without any corners. The first opposite end portion releasably contacts the windshield when the body portion is positioned between a wiper arm and a windshield. The second opposite end portion releasably supports the wiper arm in a spaced apart relationship to the windshield when the first opposite end portion contacts the windshield and the body portion is positioned between the wiper arm and the windshield. The first and second end opposite portions are free from attachment to the wiper arm and the windshield, The body is supportively firm along the vertically low profile and vertically flexible along the second opposite end portion in supporting the wiper arm. The body has a positive water buoyancy.
Vehicle wiper device
The versatility of a water collecting member is raised while improving the ease of assembly of the water collecting member. A water collecting member 80 is formed with plural first marks 90 serving as markers for assembly of the water collecting member 80 to a first pivot holder 20. The first pivot holder 20 is formed with a second mark 92 serving as a guide for the correct assembly orientation of the water collecting member 80 to the first pivot holder 20. The second mark 92 is formed corresponding to one out of the plural first marks 90, and is configured so as to form a pair with that first mark 90. The water collecting member 80 can be assembled in the correct position by aligning the second mark 92 and the first mark 90 that form a pair when assembling the water collecting member 80 to the first pivot holder 20. This thereby enables incorrect assembly of the water collecting member 80 to be prevented when assembling the water collecting member 80 to the first pivot holder 20 in cases in which a universal water collecting member 80 is employed in various vehicle models.
Wiper device
A wiper device includes a pivot shaft, a pivot holder, a water receiving cap and a washer. The pivot holder includes a pivot support portion and a mounting leg. The pivot support portion pivotally supports the pivot shaft. The water receiving cap includes a boss portion and an umbrella portion. The boss portion is fitted onto the pivot support portion. The washer is fixed to a circumference of the pivot shaft at a portion projecting from a distal end of the pivot support portion. At least part of the boss portion overlaps the washer in an axial direction. The umbrella portion includes a projection that projects in the axial direction. The projection opposes the mounting leg in a circumferential direction without engaging the mounting leg in the axial direction.
Component-integrated tailgate handle switch for vehicle
A vehicle is provided that includes a wiper-integrated tailgate handle switch mounted to a window glass of a tailgate. The wiper-integrated tailgate handle switch includes a tailgate handle switch, which is configured to press a current carrying switch arranged in the internal space thereof using the height of an insertion space defined by a difference in height between transverse and longitudinal bodies of a handle switch housing, and a wiper. Therefore, a degree of freedom in design of the tailgate is increased which improves the aesthetic of the tailgate by removing the tailgate handle switch from the tailgate.
Wiper system for vehicle
A wiper system for a vehicle includes: a glass wiper disposed on a window glass of a vehicle; a motor providing driving power to the glass wiper; a camera capturing images of surroundings of the vehicle; and a camera wiper disposed on a camera lens of the camera and connected to the motor by a linkage to operate in association with the glass wiper such that the camera wiper swings back and forth over the camera lens while the glass wiper swings back and forth over the window glass.
WIPER BLADE
A wiper blade is presented having a wiper strip, a primary frame, and a pair of secondary frames. The primary frame having a connection device capable of connecting the wiper blade to a wiper arm disposed on a top side of the primary frame, and a connection structure disposed, on opposite ends of the primary frame. The pair of secondary frame, each have a central pivot connection portion and two leg portions extending from the central pivot connection portion, a pivot structure disposed on the central pivot connection portion of the secondary frames wherein the pivot structure of the secondary frames are connected to the connection structures on the ends of the primary frame. A wiper blade is also presented having a wiper strip, a force distribution structure having opposite ends, and a cover.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WIPER OF VEHICLE
A vehicle wiper control apparatus monitors whether warpage occurs in a wiper strip made of a rubber-elastic material that is provided in a wiper blade. When a wiper of a vehicle is turned off and the warpage occurs in the wiper strip, the control apparatus controls the wiper mechanism to move the wiper blade to a parking position thereby preventing deformation of the wiper strip and maintaining the performance thereof.
System and Method for Removing Light Scattering Film From the Interior of a Windshield
The present invention discloses a system and method for cleaning the light scattering film (LSF) from the surface of a windshield in a vehicle, and more particularly, is directed to a magnetically associated cleaning element that is moved across the interior surface of a windshield by an interactive magnetic force transmitted through the windshield, with magnets associated with the wiper assembly on the other side of the glass.
Windscreen wiper device of the flat blade type
A windscreen wiper device of the flat blade type comprising an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade of a flexible material, which can be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped, which wiper blade includes at least one longitudinal slit, in which slit at least one longitudinal strip of the carrier element is disposed, which windscreen wiper device comprises a connecting device for a rod-like extension of an oscillating arm, wherein said rod-like extension can be pivotally connected to said connecting device about a pivot axis near a free end thereof, wherein said connecting device comprises a first part and a second part, wherein said rod-like extension of said oscillating arm can be pivotally connected to said first part about said pivot axis, with the interposition of said second part, wherein said first part is connected to said wiper blade and said second part is pivotally connected onto said first part, wherein said second part comprises a channel arranged to receive said free end of said rod-like extension, with the special feature that said windscreen wiper device comprises a housing for said rod-like extension, wherein said housing is arranged to be connected to said second part, and wherein said housing comprises a channel to receive said rod-like extension, said channel of said housing in mounted position being co-axial with said channel of said second part, wherein said first part and said second part are provided with mutually cooperating pivot means for pivotally connecting said second part to said first part, and wherein said first part engages said second part laterally from the outside at the location of said pivot axis.
