VEHICLE WASHING DEVICE, VEHICLE WASHING METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An imaging device images rearward of a vehicle through a windshield from inside a cabin of the vehicle, and a vehicle washing device includes a wiping device and a controller. The wiping device is capable of reciprocatingly wiping a predetermined range of the windshield. The predetermined range of the windshield includes an imaging range for the imaging device. The controller switches operation of the wiping device to one of a first mode or a second mode in accordance with an input. In the first mode, the wiping device wipes the predetermined range of the windshield. In the second mode, the wiping device wipes the imaging range of the windshield preferentially compared to the first mode.
AUTONOMOUS DRIVING CAMERA CLEANING SYSTEM
A camera cleaning system for an autonomous vehicle may include a platform that can accommodate multiple cameras, wiper systems, as well as a fluid delivery system. The wiper system may include a wiper, rail, and a hydraulic motion component for each camera. The platform surface that contacts the wiper system's wipers and cleaning fluid may be angled and may include a window or lens for each camera. The autonomous vehicle may include a controller that may decide when a camera cleaning protocol should be executed. Alternatively, or additionally, a camera cleaning protocol may be executed periodically, as indicated by a controller.
Method and apparatus for winterizing system components
An onboard system for winterizing vessels includes an antifreeze storage system. The onboard system includes a control system capable of determining one or more of the one or more system components to be winterized, an antifreeze storage system, and one or more pumps capable of pumping antifreeze from the antifreeze storage system. The antifreeze flows through the determined one or more system components to be winterized.

Manifold for vehicle sensor cleaning
A cleaning system includes a straight pipe defining an axis, an inlet fluidly connected to the pipe and in line with the axis, and at least three outlets fluidly connected to and elongated from the pipe. The outlets extend parallel to each other and transverse from the pipe. The pipe has an increasing cross-sectional area along the axis from the outlet closest to the inlet to the outlet farthest from the inlet.
Molded automotive fluid dispensing and manifold distribution system
A process and assembly for incorporating a molded automotive fluid dispensing and manifold distribution system into an injection molded panel, including the steps of providing a mold and forming in a first injection molded shot a thermoplastic panel of a first material, opening the mold and positioning against a surface of the panel a previously produced manifold distribution system including at least a main manifold section and at least one branching section communicating with a nozzle outlet and reclosing the mold and subsequently forming in a second injection molded shot a second softer thermoplastic material in order to bond the manifold system to the first show panel. Other steps include forming the manifold distribution system in a secondary cavity with the first shot panel, following which a pick-and-place robot aligns the panel and manifold prior to the shot of softer material.
CLEANING DEVICE, COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM, CLEANING METHOD
A cleaning device for selectively bombarding a surface with a media sequence, the sequence including at least a first gaseous medium and a second liquid medium, includes a nozzle configured to bombard the surface with the second medium; a cleaning valve with a holding port, a pressure port, a plunger, and a pressure outlet; and a high-pressure accumulator configured to store the first medium. The first medium is loaded with an accumulator pressure. The cleaning device further includes a changeover valve configured to selectively create a connection between a first medium supply line and a holding line connected to the holding port. The pressure outlet is configured to bombard the surface with the first medium in pulse-like fashion
CLEANING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES AND CLEANING METHOD FOR SAME
A vehicle cleaning system includes a drive pump, an ejection nozzle and a valve device. The valve device includes an intake passage, a valve that closes the intake passage and accumulates pressure of the fluid supplied to the intake passage, a discharge passage, and an auxiliary mechanism. The auxiliary mechanism generates leakage of the fluid from the intake passage during the pressure accumulation to accumulate pressure with the leakage at a leaked side, opens the valve body based on two pressures accumulated in the intake passage and the leaked side, outputs the fluid, which is pressure-accumulated in the intake passage, to the discharge passage by opening the valve body, and closes the valve body as the fluid is output to the discharge passage to allow for re-accumulation of the pressure in the intake passage.
DEVICE FOR DISTRIBUTING WASHER FLUID
A device for distributing washer fluid includes a cover portion into which a washer fluid is introduced, a moving shaft assembly located inside the cover portion, a motor assembly located at one end of the moving shaft assembly and configured to rotate the moving shaft assembly, one or more flow holes located in the moving shaft assembly, a plurality of distribution units located to correspond to the one or more flow holes, and a controller configured to control a rotation amount of the motor assembly which is configured to selectively discharge an washer fluid introduced into the one or more flow holes to the plurality of distribution units.
DEVICE FOR DISTRIBUTING WASHER FLUID IN VEHICLE
A device for distributing washer fluid, which includes a case including one or more discharge holes, a rail part located in the case, a pipe assembly moved along the rail part and configured to discharge a washer fluid to the one or more discharge holes, a motor assembly configured to apply a driving force to allow the pipe assembly to be moved along the rail part, a hose engaged with the pipe assembly and integrally moved with the pipe assembly along the rail part, and a controller configured to control the driving force of the motor assembly in response to a cleaning request such that the pipe assembly discharges the washer fluid to a selected discharge hole.
