A wiring member includes wires, a resin molded portion that covers the wires, and a bracket attachment that is attached to the resin molded portion. The resin molded portion includes a bracket attachment portion that is formed with at least one flat surface portion. The bracket includes a first attachment portion that is configured to be attached to an attachment location, and a second attachment portion that is connected to the first attachment portion and is crimped to the bracket attachment portion while being in surface contact with at least one of the at least one flat surface portion.
TONE RING AND ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE
A tone ring attachment for a disc brake rotor. The disc brake rotor has a disc portion that includes a plurality of circumferentially-spaced lugs. Each one of the lugs has a groove. A discrete tone ring body has a plurality of bosses. Each one of the bosses is receivable in a respective one of the grooves in the lugs. A dart projection extends from at least one of the bosses. The dart projection engages a respective one of the lugs to inhibit relative axial movement and relative rotational movement in at least one direction between the tone ring and the disc brake rotor. A tab is formed on at least one of the bosses. The tab is engageable with a portion of the lug to inhibit relative rotational movement in a second direction opposite the first direction between the tone ring and disc brake rotor.
CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE FOR AN ANTILOCK BRAKING SYSTEM OF A TWO-WHEELED VEHICLE
A control method includes at least one emission of a radar signal into an area that encompasses a base surface of the roadway section and a wheel of a vehicle, for example an electric bicycle. A radar frequency spectrum reflected on the base surface and on the wheel is subsequently detected using the radar sensor. A control unit actuates at least one brake, for example a front wheel brake of the electric bicycle, as a function of a difference between the vehicle speed and the wheel speed recognized based on the detected radar frequency spectrum.
Wheel unit
In order to improve a wheel unit for a bicycle, comprising a hub and a wheel rim, which is arranged rotatably about an axis of rotation, wherein the hub and the wheel rim are connected to one another by spokes, it is proposed to arrange a brake disc and a sensor ring, which comprises a sensing region, on the hub and to position the sensing region between the brake disc and the spokes.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CHECKING A WHEEL OF A RAIL VEHICLE FOR FLAT SPOTS
A device for checking a wheel of a rail car for flat spots. The device includes a microelectromechanical microphone for acquiring measured air-borne sound values within a first time span. In addition, the device includes a processing unit, which is configured to determine, as a function of the measured air-borne sound values acquired, if the wheel has a flat spot. The essence of the present invention is that the device includes an acoustic waveguide. In addition, the device takes the form of a mobile device and may be situated on or in the rail car in such a manner, that air-borne sound, which is radiated at a boundary surface, as air-borne sound, by structure-borne sound propagating through the rail car, is transmitted to the microphone by the acoustic waveguide. Also described is a related method for checking a wheel of a rail car for flat spots.
Wheel unit
In order to improve a wheel unit for a bicycle, comprising a hub and a wheel rim, which is arranged rotatably about an axis of rotation, wherein the hub and the wheel rim are connected to one another by spokes, it is proposed to arrange a brake disc and a sensor ring comprising a sensing region on the hub and to arrange the sensor ring adjacent to the brake disc.
DEVICE FOR DETECTING WHEEL SPEED
A wheel speed detection device according to one aspect of the present disclosure is installable on a wheel bearing which comprises an outer ring and an inner ring coupled to a rotating shaft and relatively rotated relative to the outer ring about the rotating shaft. The wheel speed detection device comprises a first target concentrically coupled to the rotating shaft, a second target disposed along an outer circumference of the inner ring, a cap coupled to the outer ring to cover the first target and the second target, a first sensor disposed in the cap and configured to detect a variation in magnetic field of the first target due to a rotation of the rotating shaft, and a second sensor disposed in the cap and configured to detect a variation in magnetic pole of the second target due to a rotation of the inner ring.
Disc brake tone ring
An assembly for an induction sensing tone ring is provided. A brake rotor includes a circular pocket. A tone ring is received in the circular pocket of the brake rotor. The brake rotor has a plurality of locating tabs, with each locating tab having a slope surface. The tone ring has a plurality of retaining tabs, with each retaining tab being received between two locating tabs of the brake rotor. A retaining ring is fitted in each locating tab slope surface of the brake rotor to press fit against the retaining tabs of the tone ring.
Apparatus for vehicle braking
The present disclosure in some embodiments provides a vehicle braking apparatus including wheel brakes for providing a braking force to one or more front and rear wheels, a first actuator including a first hydraulic circuit supplying braking force to at least some of wheel brakes, a first master cylinder adjusting hydraulic pressure of the first hydraulic circuit, and a first motor, a second actuator including a second hydraulic circuit supplying a braking force to at least a remainder of the wheel brakes, a second master cylinder adjusting hydraulic pressure of the second hydraulic circuit, and a second motor, an EPB generating a braking force on rear wheels, a regenerative braking system generating a regenerative braking force, and an ECU for controlling at least one of the first actuator, second actuator, electronic parking brake, or regenerative braking system upon determining whether the first actuator and the second actuator malfunction.
Method for the automated electronic control of a brake system in a utility vehicle having anti-lock braking protection
A method for automatic electronic control of a brake system in a vehicle includes reading a brake signal for the automatic electronic control of brakes in the vehicle, wherein requests to be implemented by the brakes are transmitted via the brake signal to bring about automatically requested target vehicle longitudinal dynamics. The method further includes determining a brake pressure distribution indicating a ratio of a front axle brake pressure of a front axle to a rear axle brake pressure of a rear axle, and providing at least a first brake pressure signal of the first electronic control unit to at least a first electropneumatic control device, taking into account the braking request signal and the brake pressure distribution for controlling the front axle brake pressure and the rear axle brake pressure, and receiving the brake pressure distribution at a second electronic control unit and storing the detected brake pressure distribution.
