Vehicle brake pedal booster pushrod interface assembly
A vehicle brake pedal booster pushrod interface assembly is provided that includes: a pivotable brake pedal arm including a protruding peg structure; and an elongate pushrod including a clip structure disposed at one end thereof and adapted to pivotably engage the protruding peg structure of the pivotable brake pedal arm. The brake pedal booster pushrod interface assembly further includes a cylindrical sleeve adapted to be rotatably disposed about the protruding peg structure of the pivotable brake pedal arm and be pivotably engaged by the clip structure of the elongate pushrod. Optionally, the cylindrical sleeve includes an opposed conical section disposed at either end thereof and separated by a cylindrical center portion. The clip structure of the elongate pushrod includes a pair of arms defining an opening and an interior space adapted to receive the protruding peg structure of the pivotable brake pedal arm.
ELECTRIC BOOSTER
A brake operation sensor detects a position of an input member. An angle sensor detects a position of a power piston. An ECU drives and controls an electric motor based on a relative position between the input member and the power piston. Then, the input member and the power piston are subjected to a mechanical limitation on a relative displacement therebetween due to abutment with each other at a step. The ECU advances/retracts the power piston independently of the movement of the input member, and determines the abutment state between the input member and the power piston under the mechanical limitation based on the detected relative position. Then, the ECU corrects the relative position between the input member and the power piston based on this determination to control the electric motor.
ELECTROMECHANICAL BRAKE ASSIST SYSTEM
An electromechanical brake assist system driven by an electric motor cooperating with a master cylinder and having, along the axis of actuation, a helper piston in the shape of an axial sleeve solidly connected with a guide bracket and having a threaded surface. A nut, fixed in translation but free to rotate, has interior threads that complement those of the helper piston, which it receives, and exterior teeth that cooperate with the drive motor. A plunger piston carries a drive base so it can be pushed by the piston. Its other extremity is connected to the control rod, formed from a body and a head. The body has a crimping area and the head has a sleeve with an extremity that can be crimped along the crimping area.

Driving control device comprising a locking mechanism
A driving control device for a vehicle, comprising a handle bar interconnected with a brake bar having attachment means for attachment to a brake pedal, the attachment means comprising a locking mechanism comprising an engagement head with a shaft portion and a bail portion having a flat portion, the latter locking mechanism further comprising an engagement socket having a spherical compartment fitting the ball portion and a wall portion in the opening of the socket allowing the engagement head to enter the spherical compartment when the flat portion slides over the wall portion. The driving control device is intended for handicapped drivers and for safe and easy attachment to a vehicle brake pedal.
