A Kentucky bluegrass variety designated Starr is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of Kentucky bluegrass variety named Starr, to the plants of Kentucky bluegrass variety named Starr, to the plant parts of Kentucky bluegrass variety named Starr, and to methods for producing progeny of Kentucky bluegrass variety named Starr. The invention also relates to methods for producing a Kentucky bluegrass plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic Kentucky bluegrass plants and plant parts produced by those methods. The invention also relates to Kentucky bluegrass varieties or breeding cultivars, and plant parts derived from Kentucky bluegrass variety named Starr. The invention also relates to methods for producing other Kentucky bluegrass cultivars, lines, or plant parts derived from Kentucky bluegrass variety named Starr, and to the Kentucky bluegrass plants, varieties, and their parts derived from use of those methods.
