LAND VEHICLES INCORPORATING BRAKE SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREFOR
Land vehicles and methods of operating land vehicles are disclosed. A land vehicle includes a frame structure, a plurality of wheels, and a brake system. The frame structure includes a front cage that at least partially defines an operator cabin and a rear compartment positioned rearward of the front cage in a longitudinal direction. The plurality of wheels are supported by the frame structure. Each of plurality of wheels is sized to permit direct integration of an electric motor therein.
Electric Work Vehicle
An electric work vehicle includes an electric motor, a travel device configured to travel on a ground based on a drive of the electric motor, a transmission configured to transmit a motive power from the electric motor to the travel device while varying a speed of a rotation inputted from the electric motor, a single operation part configured to accept a manual operation for changing a direction of the rotation of the electric motor and for changing a shift level of the transmission, and a controller configured to output a control signal to the electric motor and the transmission based on the manual operation accepted by the single operation part.
Travel Vehicle
A travel vehicle to which a standard HST 7 or a high-specification HST 8 are capable of being selectively mounted includes a body frame structure to which a transmission 6 is fixed and the standard HST 7 or the high-specification HST 8 is fixable rearward of the transmission 6. The transmission 6 includes a rear surface provided with a common connected section 60 connectable to a standard connection section 70 provided on a front surface of the standard HST 7 and a high-specification connection section 80 provided on a front surface of the high-specification HST 8.
Work Vehicle
A work vehicle includes a travel body having a rear section provided with a loading platform on which cargo is placeable, and the travel body includes a motor section; a travel device; a driving section rideable by a driver; at least one speed change operation tool configured to give a command regarding a speed change operation; and a transmission device configured to change a speed of motive power of the motor section and transmit the changed motive power to the travel device, and switch a speed change state based on the command from the at least one speed change operation tool. The at least one speed change operation tool includes a main operation tool provided in the driving section, and an auxiliary operation tool provided at a location in the travel body different from the driving section.
AUTOMATED MECHANICAL TRANSMISSION AND SYSTEM FOR MEDIUM-DUTY COMMERCIAL ELECTRIC VEHICLES
A modular transmission system selectively coupled to an electric motor arranged on a vehicle according to a first example of the present disclosure includes a front housing, a first rear housing and a second rear housing. The front housing has a transmission motor mount and at least one transmission chassis mount. The transmission motor mount is configured to mount the front housing relative to the electric motor. The first rear housing has a first gear set. The first rear housing is configured to selectively couple to the front housing to provide first gear ratios in the first modular transmission configuration. The second rear housing has a second gear set. The second rear housing is configured to selectively couple to the front housing to provide second gear ratios in the second modular transmission configuration.
Air intake system for a commercial vehicle, in particular a truck
An air intake system for a commercial vehicle is disclosed. The air intake system includes a hood with at least one frontal intake opening through which air to be guided to an engine of the commercial vehicle can flow and with at least one plenum configured to receive air flowing through the intake opening. The air intake system further includes at least one air pipe having at least one air duct with at least one inlet opening through which the air flowing through the frontal intake opening can flow, the air duct arranged upstream of and fluidically connected with the plenum so as to guide the air to and into the plenum. The air intake system additionally includes at least one air filter and at least one silencer plate arranged upstream of the air filter, the silencer plate having a plurality of through openings through which the air can flow.
System for supplying and exchanging a battery bank in an electric vehicle for commercial use
The present invention refers to a battery bank supply and replacement system in an electric vehicle, particularly for an electric vehicle used for the distribution of commercial goods. The system of the present invention comprises a battery bank mounted in a metal structure that is structurally coupled to a metal mounting structure arranged on the electric vehicle and a handling device consisting of a movable base. The movable base is aligned and secured to the metal mounting structure of the vehicle for removal of the battery bank from the vehicle towards the handling device or the other way round.
Work Vehicle
A seatbelt of a work vehicle includes: a first stay provided in correspondence with a first fixing portion of a vehicle body on either one of right/left sides of a seat; a belt reeling portion that reels and stores a belt main body and is attached to the first fixing portion via the first stay; a second stay provided in correspondence with a second fixing portion on the other one of the right/left sides of the seat; and a buckle portion that fixes an insertion fixture extending from the belt reeling portion and is attached to the second fixing portion via the second stay. A first cover member is mounted to the first stay and covers an outward exposed portion of the first stay. A second cover member is mounted to the second stay and covers an outward exposed portion of the second stay.
STEERABLE KNUCKLE APPARATUS AND RELATED METHODS
Steerable knuckle apparatus and related methods are disclosed. An apparatus includes a steerable knuckle for a vehicle. The knuckle has a first portion to be movably coupled to a yoke of the vehicle and a second portion removably coupled to the first portion. The second portion receives a wheel hub of the vehicle. The apparatus also includes a first aperture disposed on the first portion to receive a first joint for movably coupling the knuckle to the yoke.
RETRACTABLE OVERHEAD SHADE
A retractable overhead assembly for a vehicle having a retractable cover (912) under tension and an integrated stiffening rod that includes attachment features (916) to selectively connect to a windshield area. The retractable system is self contained within an extrusion keeping the overall package size small and the installation/removal simple.
