Travel working machine
A travel working machine includes: an automatic travel control unit 61 configured to implement automatic travel based on automatic travel information necessary for automatic travel; a manual travel control unit 52 configured to implement manual travel based on an operation signal from a manual travel operating unit 9; a machine body status detecting unit 51 configured to output machine body status information indicating a machine body status based on the operation signal and a detection signal received from a status detecting device 8; and an automatic travel management section 7 configured to determine forbiddance of automatic travel by the automatic travel control unit 61 and permission of the automatic travel based on the machine body status information, and output a control command in automatic travel forbiddance, for deciding control of the machine body after a command to forbid the automatic travel has been issued, based on the machine body status information.
ROTARY POSITION SENSOR ISOLATOR
A rotary position sensor senses rotation of a first member, having a first torque coupling surface, about an axis relative to a second member by sensing movement of a torque receiving component of the rotary. The isolator may include a mount, a linkage and a torsion spring. The linkage is to be coupled to the torque receiving component of the rotary sensor. The linkage has a second torque coupling surface separable from the first torque coupling surface by a play gap, wherein during rotation of the first member, the first torque coupling surface is to contact the second torque coupling surface to transmit torque to the linkage. The torsion spring is captured between the mount and the linkage independent of the torque receiving component to resiliently bias the second torque coupling surface through the play gap and into engagement with the first torque coupling surface.
Cooling systems and methods for an agricultural harvester
A cooling system for an agricultural vehicle includes a housing configured to support one or more cooling components, a debris conduit extending from the housing of the cooling system, a suction fan configured to rotate to apply negative airflow, and a valve configured to move between an open position in which the debris conduit is fluidly coupled to the suction fan and a closed position in which the debris conduit is isolated from the suction fan.
Hydraulic hybrid powertrain
A hydraulic hybrid powertrain for a vehicle is disclosed. The powertrain has an internal combustion engine selectively drivingly engaged with an input of a stepped-ratio transmission through a torque converter and through a speed direction changing device. An output of the stepped-ratio transmission is selectively drivingly engaged with a vehicle output. An intermediate gear set is drivingly engaged with the speed direction changing device and drivingly engaged with the input of the stepped-ratio transmission. A hydraulic machine in fluid communication with a hydraulic accumulator assembly, a transmission shaft of the hydraulic machine being drivingly engaged or selectively drivingly engaged with the intermediate gear set for providing energy to the intermediate gear set and for absorbing energy from the intermediate gear set. Also disclosed are methods of operating the hydraulic hybrid powertrain.
Feedrate control with slip compensation
A prescribed feedrate of material through the mobile harvesting machine and an actual feedrate of material through the mobile harvesting machine are detected, and a feedrate difference between the prescribed feedrate and the actual feedrate is identified. Wheel slippage of the mobile harvesting machine is also detected. Based on the feedrate difference between the prescribed feedrate and the actual feedrate and based on the detected wheel slippage, a speed control signal that controls speed of the mobile harvesting machine is generated.
Air intake system for a work vehicle
In one aspect, an air intake system for supplying air to an engine of a work vehicle may include a cooler box having a first wall and a second wall, with the first and second walls at least partially defining a chamber within the cooler box. The air intake system may also include a screen defining at least a portion of the first wall of the cooler box. Furthermore, the air intake system may include an air filter assembly defining at least a portion of the second wall of the cooler box. The air filter assembly may be configured to remove particles present in the air exiting the chamber of the cooler box through the air filter assembly. The air exiting the cooler box through the air filter assembly may be supplied to the engine for combustion.
DRIVE MECHANISM WITH REPLACEABLE SEAL AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A drive mechanism comprises a flywheel, a flywheel damper removably connected to the flywheel, a pump drive, and an intermediate shaft. The pump drive comprises a housing, an input shaft mounted to the housing for rotation relative thereto about an axis of rotation, and a seal surrounding the input shaft to establish a sealed connection therewith. The intermediate shaft is co-axial with the input shaft relative to the axis of rotation and removably connected to the flywheel damper and the input shaft. The seal is replaceable. An associated method for replacing the seal is disclosed.
Hydraulic Cooler Assembly for a Header of an Agricultural Harvester
A header for an agricultural harvester is disclosed. The header comprises a frame, a cooler assembly support by the frame for cooling a hydraulic system of the header, and a hydraulic system. The cooler assembly includes an air pre-cleaner for receiving air and outputting a flow of air, a rotary fan downstream the air pre-cleaner, and a heat exchanger downstream and in fluid communication with a first air output of the rotary fan. The rotary fan includes an air intake in fluid communication with the air pre-cleaner for receiving the flow of air, a first air output in fluid communication with the air intake, and a second air output in fluid communication with the air intake and spaced from the first air output. The hydraulic system is downstream the heat exchanger and receives an output flow of air from the cooler assembly.
TRACTION ASSIST SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOBILE HEAVY EQUIPMENT
A traction assist system and method for heavy equipment on an incline or in other situations with poor or limited traction. In particular, a traction assist system for heavy equipment having an accessory such as a blade, the system including: a tether; an adaptation to the accessory allowing the tether to be placed to allow the accessory to function without disrupting the tether, such as through-holes in the blade; and an attachment point on the heavy equipment for attaching the tether to the heavy equipment. The adaptation will depend on the particular accessory involved but may generally be an adaptation allowing the tether to pass through the accessory.
