The fender body is attached to the yoke by a bracket so that it is rotatably carried by the rotating yoke. As such, the fender body is maintained at an optimal position relative to the mower tire and thereby provides desirable deflection of lawn clippings and other debris from the various operational components provided upon the mower deck. In response to the drive assembly being in the first configuration, the worm gear assembly and the shaft of the mobility assembly may be operably coupled, and the worm gear assembly may be configured to selectively transfer power from the motor to the mobility assembly to provide mobility to the vehicle. In response to the drive assembly being in a second configuration, the worm gear assembly and the shaft of the mobility assembly may be decoupled, and the worm gear assembly may be prevented from transferring the power from the motor to the mobility assembly.

The first and second axle housings may also be separately rigidly or flexibly connected to one another. This assembly permits adjustment of the ground heights of the platform with respect to a vehicle frame.

The gear top cover accommodates a part of a rotation portion of the reduction gear train. An air supply and exhaust hole is disposed on an upper surface of the gear top cover facing an air sump and is arranged at a position different from a point above a bevel gear. A breather is attached at the air supply and exhaust hole, and a first inner wall extending downward from the upper surface of the upper casing member, is positioned between the part of the bevel gear and the air supply and exhaust hole.
