A fender for a lawn mower having tire and wheel assemblies that are mounted to a yoke of a swivel caster assembly, whereby the yoke pivots through 360 degrees of rotation, includes an arcuate fender body. The fender body is attached to the yoke by a bracket so that it is rotatably carried by the rotating yoke. As such, the fender body is maintained at an optimal position relative to the mower tire and thereby provides desirable deflection of lawn clippings and other debris from the various operational components provided upon the mower deck. This prevents the premature wear of such operational components, thereby decreasing down time and reducing maintenance costs of the mower.

An electric travelling vehicle including: a motor controller configured to control an electric motor based on displacement of a steering operation part to a forward travel position, a neutral position, and a rearward travel position, a brake controller configured to bring an electromagnetic power-off brake into a released state or a braking state; and a travel state detector configured to detect a travelling state that is accompanied with the released state, a stopped state that is accompanied with the braking state, and a transit stopped state that is accompanied with the braking state.

An electric vehicle includes a body frame, a seat disposed on the body frame, a wheel attached to the body frame to be driven by an electric motor, a battery to supply electric power to the electric motor via an inverter and an electrical component, a plate member placed inside a covered space with a top being covered and on which the inverter and the electrical component are mounted, and a guide supported by the body frame to drawably guide the plate member from a position inside the covered space to a position outside the covered space.

A drive assembly for a vehicle may selectively couple a motor of the vehicle to a mobility assembly of the vehicle. The drive assembly may include a worm gear assembly having a worm engaged with a worm gear. The worm may be operably coupled to the motor of the vehicle, and the worm gear may be selectively coupled to a shaft of the mobility assembly. The drive assembly may be configured to move between a first configuration and a second configuration. In response to the drive assembly being in the first configuration, the worm gear assembly and the shaft of the mobility assembly may be operably coupled, and the worm gear assembly may be configured to selectively transfer power from the motor to the mobility assembly to provide mobility to the vehicle. In response to the drive assembly being in a second configuration, the worm gear assembly and the shaft of the mobility assembly may be decoupled, and the worm gear assembly may be prevented from transferring the power from the motor to the mobility assembly.

A vehicle transmission housing has first and second axle housings pivotably connected to opposite ends of the transmission housing and a stand-on platform may be connected to the assembly. A first gear train in the first axle housing drives a first axle having a first axis of rotation. A second gear train is disposed in the second axle housing drives a second axle having a second axis of rotation collinear with the first axis of rotation. The axle housings are both capable of pivoting about the transmission housing about a third axis that is parallel to the first and second axes. The first and second axle housings may also be separately rigidly or flexibly connected to one another. This assembly permits adjustment of the ground heights of the platform with respect to a vehicle frame.

An electric work vehicle includes an electric work machine including a battery mounting unit on which a battery is detachably mountable; a battery housing unit supported by at least one wheel and configured to house the battery; and a battery carrier including the at least one wheel and a manual push handle configured to be manually pushed to move the battery housing unit. The battery housing unit is detachably mountable on the battery mounting unit for the battery to be mounted on the battery mounting unit, and the at least one wheel and the manual push handle are separable from the battery housing unit.

A transaxle casing has a fluid sump having a gear top cover, an HST, a reduction gear train and at least one axle disposed in the transaxle casing. The gear top cover accommodates a part of a rotation portion of the reduction gear train. An air supply and exhaust hole is disposed on an upper surface of the gear top cover facing an air sump and is arranged at a position different from a point above a bevel gear. A breather is attached at the air supply and exhaust hole, and a first inner wall extending downward from the upper surface of the upper casing member, is positioned between the part of the bevel gear and the air supply and exhaust hole.

A power transmission unit includes a motor; and a transmission case to enclose an input shaft, an output shaft, and a gear mechanism that transmits driving power between the input shaft and the output shaft. A motor case attached to the transmission case on a side opposite the gear mechanism of the transmission case has a cylindrical shape whose cross section is constant throughout a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the motor case, and the motor is placed inside the motor case.

A steering lever pivot assembly may have a two-axis polymer housing pivotally coupled to a terrain working vehicle at opposing bosses and comprising a pair of reciprocal housing portions, a steering lever pivotally coupled to the two-axis polymer housing, the steering lever having a connecting portion for coupling to a first system of the terrain working vehicle, a clasp coupled to the steering lever and the two-axis polymer housing and having a mounting portion for coupling to a first system of the terrain working vehicle, and a pair of bushings that receive one of the opposing bosses therein. In some aspects, the two-axis polymer housing provides a first axis of rotation at the pivotal coupling between the steering lever and the two-axis polymer housing and a second axis of rotation through the opposing bushings, which may be axially aligned.

An electric work vehicle includes: a carrier 32 in which a battery can be stored and a support portion 40 is provided; a carrier storage portion provided in a vehicle body and capable of holding the carrier 32; a guide portion 21, 22 that is capable of supporting, via the support portion 40, the carrier 32 operated so as to be lifted from the ground, in a state in which the carrier is lifted from the ground, and guiding the carrier 32 toward the carrier storage portion; and a positioning portion 42 configured to, when the carrier 32 placed on the ground is operated so as to be lifted and the support portion 40 has reached a position at which the support portion 40 can be supported by the guide portion 21, 22, stop the operation of lifting the carrier 32.
