The controller continues the clutch hydraulic pressure control even after the clutch shifts from a complete engagement state to a semi-engagement state by the clutch hydraulic pressure control.

The output shaft (17) is provided with an oil reservoir space (55) formed in the innermost part of the hole spline (53), an annular oil groove (56) and an oil path (57) providing communication between the oil reservoir space (55) and the annual oil groove (56). Lubricant oil (100) supplied to the annular oil groove (56) is supplied via the oil path (57) to the oil reservoir space (55), and is supplied to a spline joint between the hole spline (53) and the shaft spline (54) with rotation of the output shaft (17).

A method for controlling an engagement of a lock-up clutch (LUC) of a torque converter of a machine is disclosed. The method includes detecting a pedal tap of a pedal, wherein the pedal tap is detected when the pedal is depressed from a position corresponding to a pedal displacement less than a first threshold displacement to a position corresponding to a pedal displacement greater than a second threshold displacement, and then released to a position corresponding to a pedal displacement less than the first threshold displacement within a threshold time duration. The method further includes causing the LUC to move to the LUC unlocked position if the pedal tap is detected.

A control method for a work vehicle, includes: calculating a speed ratio indicating a ratio between a rotation speed of an input shaft connected to an engine and a rotation speed of an output shaft connected to a traveling device; and outputting a capacity command for changing at least one of a capacity of a first hydraulic pump motor and a capacity of a second hydraulic pump motor based on correlation data indicating a relationship between the speed ratio and the capacities of the first and second hydraulic pump motors, wherein the correlation data is set so that both the capacity of the first hydraulic pump motor and the capacity of the second hydraulic pump motor are changed with a change in the speed ratio in a predetermined speed ratio range between a first speed ratio and a second speed ratio higher than the first speed ratio.

A loading vehicle is capable of improving work efficiency by adjusting engine rotational speed with high accuracy in accordance with an operation state of the working device. An HST traveling driven wheel loader has an electrically controlled HST pump. A controller is configured to control input torque of the HST pump 31 and solenoid proportional pressure reducing valve is configured to generate control pressure for controlling displacement volume of the pump based on a control signal from the controller. The controller is configured to calculate the displacement volume q of the HST pump based on discharge pressure Pf of a loading hydraulic pump so that maximum input torque Thst of the HST pump decreases as the discharge pressure Pf or input torque of the loading hydraulic pump increases, and output a control signal corresponding to the calculated displacement volume q to the solenoid proportional pressure reducing valve.

TORQUE CONVERTER CONTROL BASED ON WORK VEHICLE PARAMETERS

A work vehicle includes a torque converter having a lock up clutch and a controller that conditionally allows operation of the lock up clutch in a locked position or an unlocked position. The controller determines a plurality of active work vehicle parameters during operation of the work vehicle and includes a plurality of ready to dig parameters. The controller determines a ready to dig condition or a non-digging condition of the work vehicle by comparing at least two of the active work vehicle parameters to at least two corresponding ready to dig parameters. The controller disallows operation of the lock up clutch in the locked position in response to the ready to dig condition, allows operation of the lock up clutch in locked or unlocked positions in response to a non-digging condition. Operation of the lock up clutch avoids the engine from stalling in a ready to dig condition.
