Milking system
A milking system for milking a dairy animal includes a milking cup for obtaining milk, a measuring chamber which is in flow communication with the milking cup for at least temporarily containing the obtained milk, and having a sensor device for measuring at least one property of the milk. The sensor device comprises at least three mutually separate electrodes for measuring values of a first milk property using an electrical and/or electromagnetic variable, and a sensor control unit for actuating the sensor device and for processing the measured values. The sensor control unit is configured to repeatedly select a pair of the electrodes in a targeted manner, the pair comprising a first electrode and a second electrode which differs from the first electrode. The sensor device is configured to measure the value of the variable between the electrodes, and to determine the value of the at least one milk property.
Milking system

Dairy animal milking preparation system and methods
The present invention relates to preparing dairy animal teats for being milked, and more particularly to teat preparation, rinsing, and milking that all take place in a milking machine teat cup liner. Such a method includes: applying a teat sanitizer to the teat; injecting air into the liner to force the teat sanitizer toward a waste milk line connected to the liner; pulsating the liner at a first pulsation rate; drawing a rinsing milk from the teat; directing the teat sanitizer, the air, and the rinsing fluid to the waste milk line; pulsating the liner at a second pulsation rate to draw additional milk from the teat; and directing the additional milk to a good milk line.

PULSATOR
A system and method for verifying proper milking system performance during the milking process. The system and method incorporates an integral function within a pulsator valve device that routinely performs functional evaluations and is capable of reporting results to the user. An additional air valve apparatus can be used to supply additional air to the pulsator valve device.
Milking cluster for milking an animal
There is provided a milking cluster (102) for milking an animal, the milking cluster comprising a plurality of teat cups (1) connected to a clawpiece (106). The clawpiece comprises a plurality of milk inlets that are connected to the plurality of teat cups via respective short milk tubes (11). A milk flow passageway begins at the barrel of the teat cup and ends at the clawbowl of the clawpiece, and a valve system is present within each milk flow passageway. The valve system comprises a first pressure-actuated valve through which milk flowing along the milk flow passageway must pass.

There is provided a milking cluster (102) for milking an animal, the milking cluster comprising a plurality of teat cups (1) connected to a clawpiece (106). The clawpiece comprises a plurality of milk inlets that are connected to the plurality of teat cups via respective short milk tubes (11). METHODS AND APPARATUS TO ADAPTIVELY OPTIMIZE FEED BLEND AND MEDICINAL SELECTION USING MACHINE LEARNING TO OPTIMIZE ANIMAL REPRODUCTION RATE
In some embodiments, a method includes receiving a target reproductive property associated with a managed livestock, and receiving an indication of health status of the managed livestock. The method further includes generating a set of input vectors based on the target reproductive property and the indication of health status. The method further includes providing the set of input vectors to a machine learning model trained to generate an output indicating a feed selection to be used to feed the managed livestock. The feed selection can be configured to, upon consumption, increase a likelihood of achieving the target reproductive property associated with the managed livestock. The method further includes administering a feed blend including the feed selection to the managed livestock.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO ADAPTIVELY OPTIMIZE FEED BLEND AND MEDICINAL SELECTION USING MACHINE LEARNING TO OPTIMIZE ANIMAL REPRODUCTION RATE
In some embodiments, a method includes receiving a target reproductive property associated with a managed livestock, and receiving an indication of health status of the managed livestock. MILKING CONTROL ARRANGEMENT AND MILK EXTRACTING SYSTEM
A milking control arrangement and milk extracting system, configured to obtain teat size data of at least one teat of an animal to be milked and to adjust a milking parameter of a milk extraction unit when milk is extracted from the teat based on the obtained teat size data of the teat.
