MOBILE BODY AND TERMINAL CASE TO BE ATTACHED TO THE SAME
According to an embodiment, a mobile body acquires product information given to a product to be purchased and transports the product to be purchased. The mobile body includes a cart body, an acquisition device, and a holder. The cart body is moved to transport the product. The acquisition device acquires the product information. The holder detachably holds the acquisition device.
POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
According to an embodiment, a power transmission system includes a power transmission antenna, a first rail and a second rail. The power transmission antenna is disposed facing the power reception antenna installed on the side surface of the cart stored in the storage position. The first rail includes a first groove that guides, among a plurality of wheels for moving the cart to the storage position, a first wheel that is closest to the power transmission antenna while the cart is stored in the storage position, and that causes a distance between the power reception antenna and the power transmission antenna installed on the side surface of the cart to be within a power transmittable range. The second rail includes a second groove that guides, among the plurality of wheels for moving the cart, a second wheel that is different from the first wheel to the storage position.
GUIDE DEVICE AND POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
According to one embodiment, a guide device includes a groove configured to limit a direction in which a wheel provided in a cart moves to a predetermined moving direction such that the cart is guided to the storage position. The groove has a groove width such that a slope of the direction of the wheel in the groove with respect to the moving direction is less than a predetermined value.
DISPLAY CART AND ITS POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM AND POWER SUPPLY METHOD
A display cart includes a pedestal, a lifting frame, and a power supply apparatus including a battery arranged within the pedestal and configured to supply power to an electric apparatus, an external power supply configured to supply power to the battery and/or the electric apparatus, and a capacity management system. The capacity management system includes a control device, a power delivery device, and a capacity statistic device. The control device determines output power of the electric apparatus. The capacity statistic device determines a remaining capacity in the battery, calculates a remaining power supply duration according to the output power of the electric apparatus, and sends a statistic result to the control device. The control device further controls the power delivery device to supply power to the electric apparatus according to the statistic result.
Transport trolley
The invention relates to a push handle unit having at least one transverse strut and having two end pieces which in the assembled state are arranged at the ends of the transverse strut and have a device for fastening to a manually movable transport trolley, wherein the push handle unit has a free-standing, projecting gripping unit on each of the two end pieces. The gripping unit consists in each case at least of a gripping unit receptacle and of a gripping unit insert, and a gripping unit is formed on each end piece. The invention further relates to a manually movable transport trolley having such a push handle unit.
Apparatus, system, and method for self-service shopping
Disclosed is a shopping system wherein a self-contained shopping vehicle allows for both physical and electronic interface by the consumer with the shopping vehicle to both execute and complete a shopping transaction at the shopping vehicle of the shopping system.
SMART SHOPPING CART WITH ONBOARD COMPUTER
A smart shopping cart includes a frame defining a receptacle. A plurality of motorized wheels and a steering mechanism are coupled to the frame. The shopping cart may further include a plurality of sensors, scanners, and an onboard computing system. The onboard computing system receives data from the sensors and scanners. The onboard computing system further controls the motorized wheels and the steering mechanism. The onboard computing system includes a processor, a memory, a geolocator, a display, at least one communication interface for communicating over a network; and a plurality of program instructions stored in the memory that cause the processor to perform steps.
STACKABLE CHARGING DEVICE FOR SHOPPING CARTS WITH ONBOARD COMPUTING SYSTEMS
An automated checkout system uses a shopping cart that is automatically charged when stacked into another shopping cart. Each shopping cart has a front charging connector and a rear charging connector. When a first shopping cart is stacked into a second shopping cart, the front charging connector of the first shopping cart connects with the rear charging connector of the second shopping cart. Electrical power can flow to the first shopping cart via the second shopping cart to charge a battery of the first shopping cart. The second shopping cart may be similarly stacked into a third shopping cart, wherein the second shopping cart receives electrical power from the third shopping cart. The second shopping cart may use this electrical power to charge its own battery or may provide some or all of the electrical power to the first shopping cart to charge the first shopping cart's battery.
Integration of Customer-Stored Information with Media Enabled Shopping Systems
A media enhanced shopping cart system comprises a shopping cart comprising a frame, a basket, a handle, a base tray, a plurality of wheels, a read component for performing a proximity scan of the shopping cart, a locationing component for determining a location of the shopping cart within a store based on the scan, and a display component for displaying at least one advertisement for a product based on the location of the shopping cart within the store, wherein the locationing component is further operable to determine a location of the product within the store relative to the shopping cart based on the scan, and wherein the display component is further operable to display an indication of the location of the advertised product relative to the location of the shopping cart.
SHOPPING CART
Provided is a shopping cart capable of simplifying equipment of a storage area of the shopping cart. A shopping cart allowed to be nested in a front-rear direction, including: a cart body; a battery configured to supply power to an electronic device attached to the cart body and displayed commodity information read by a reading device; a power receiving portion provided on a front side of the cart body and configured to be electrically connectable to an external power supply; and a power transmitting portion provided on a rear surface side of the power receiving portion and configured to supply power to a power receiving portion of another shopping cart nested in the shopping cart. Each of the power receiving portion and the power transmitting portion is provided with a magnet configured for holding a relative position.
